Weird Facts on Human and Animal Sexuality

The capacity to have concerning sexual love and desire experience and response is called, Human sexuality. The human sexuality is also referred to someone who is sexually attracted to another person, which is determined by their weird sexual orientation, whether it is to heterosexuality or opposite sex, to homosexuality or the same sex, bisexuality or having both these tendencies, Asexuality or not being attracted to anyone in a sexual manner. The impact of human sexuality in cultural, political, legal, and philosophical aspects of life, can refer to issues of morality, ethics, theology, religion or spirituality, however it is not tied directly to gender. Some cultures have been characterized as a person prevented from expressing their sexuality or feelings of guilt or shame of having sexual impulses or sexually repressive. 

1)   Heterosexuality

A weird feelings or emotions which is romantic or having sexual attraction or behavior between two person of opposite gender or sex is called,      Heterosexuality in the classification of gender and sex or gender binary in two distinct. This term is commonly applied to humans, but it is also observed in all animals or mammals.

2)   Homosexuality or Gay (LGBT)

Lesbian is a widely used term to describe weird sexual and romantic desire between females. However, there are some women who are engaging in homosexual behavior but deny or reject the lesbian identity entirely, and sometimes refuse to identify themselves as bisexual or lesbian. There are few women who may adopt or openly admits they are lesbian for political reasons or career. The sexual behavior, sexual identity or sexual desire, are the tree components of identifying themselves as lesbians.

Ellen Lee DeGeneres is an American television talk show host of The Ellen DeGeneres Show and a stand-up-comedian and actress, born January 26, 1958. Ellen DeGeneres married her long time partner, Portia de Rossi on August 6, 2010 at their home in a private ceremony with 19 guests including their mothers. After their wedding on August 6, 2010, de Rossi filed a petition to legally change her name to Portia Lee James DeGeneres, and this petition was granted on September 23, 2010.

3)   Homosexual or Gay Male Culture

The American actor, singer, magician, director and producer Neil Patrick Harris (born June 15, 1973) is openly gay which he confirmed in November 2006. Harris is best known as Dr. Doogie Howser, M.D. attending the Emmy awards in September 2007 with his long time partner David Burtka, which he later confirmed the relationship, which Harris said began in 2004.

4)  Gay Villages

 The weird culture shared by lesbian, gay, transgender, bisexual and queer (LGBTO)people is called LGBT culture. It is sometimes also referred to as Queer culture. Although not synonymous, the term gay culture, is sometimes used even though this may also apply to homosexual men culture. The weird LGBT culture varies widely by geography and the identity of the participants. Often identified elements as being common to cultures of gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender people which include the work of transgender, famous gay, lesbian and bisexual people.

5)   Bisexual

Bisexuality is a weird sexual attraction romantic behavior toward males and females. Bisexuality term is especially used in the context of human sexual attraction to denote romantic or sexual feelings toward men and women. While the emotional attraction toward a person of all gender identities and biological sexes, and the sexual desire, sexual attraction, and the romantic love is known as the Pansexuality, or omnisexuality. 

6)   Transgender

The general term of Transgender is applied to a variety of individuals, behaviors, and group of persons involving tendencies to vary from culturally conventional gender roles. The specific form of sexual orientation does not imply on Transgender people, but can be identified as heterosexual, bisexual, homosexual, pansexual, asexual or polysexual, some may consider conventional sexual orientation labels inadequate or inapplicable to them. Many Native Americans and First Nations people, in North America, what is now the United States and Canada, recognized  the existence of more than two genders, such as the Zuni male-bodied Ła’mana,the native American Lakota male-bodied winkte ( an old Lakota word, “Winyanktehca,” meaning “two-souls-person,”)  and the Mohave male-bodied alyhaa and female-bodied hwamee. This people were previously referred to as berdache but are now known as Two-Spirit, and their spouses would not necessarily have been regarded as gender-different. The Zapotec culture in Mexico,  includes a third gender in the form of the Muxe.  The Islamic people in early Medina, gender-variant male-to-female were acknowledged in the form of the Mukhannathun.  While the Gallae in Ancient Rome were castrated followers of the Phrygian goddess Cybele and may be regarded as transgender in modern day terms.

Camille Cabral born on March 31, 1944 in Cabaceiras, Paraiba, is a French-Brazillian dermatologist and politician and activist, was the first transexual woman, to be elected in the French Republic’s history.

Parinya Charoenphol or Parinya Kiatbusaba (born June 9, 1981), popularly known as Nong Thoom, Nong Toom or Nong Tum, is the famous known kathoey or Lady Boy in Thailand. Nong Toom is a former Muay Thai boxer champion, an actress and a model.  The term kathoey in Laos and Thailand is used to refer to male to female transgender people and effeminate men.

  Effeminacy describes weird traits in a human male that are more often associated with weird traditional womanhood behavior, nature, mannerisms, style or gender roles rather than Masculinity nature.

The Indian weird subcontinent cultures include a third gender, referred to in Hindi as Hijra. 

Amaranta Gomez Regalado, (former name as male, Jorge Gómez Regalado), the 25 year old muxe from Juchitan de Zaragoza, gained international prominence as a congressional candidate in 2003, for the Mexico Posible party in the Oaxaca state elections. Regalado’s broad platform included calls for the decriminalization of marijuana and abortion. His left arm was amputated due to car accident in October 2002. The Zapotec culture, in Mexico, includes a third gender in Muxe forms.

Māhū in traditional Kanaka Maoli or Hawaiian culture are the third gender persons with traditional roles within  used slang word for transgender and transvestite persons. The Aikane is a traditional kanaka Maoli word for a man or kane, who is the male lover of another male. In the Samoan culture the Fa’asamoa traditions, allows a specific role for male to female transgender individuals known as Fa’afafine.

The third gender viewed as the Fa’afafine which is very specific to Samoan culture, because the liminal (disorientation that occurs in the middle stage) or the third gender of Samoan people. The fa’afafine, a recognized and integral part of traditional Samoan culture, born biologically male, embody both male and female gender traits and behavior, which range from extravagant female to mundanely masculine. In other Polynesian languages, such as the Tongan fakaleiti or fakafefine, in Maori language whakawahine, the Cook Islands Maori akava’ine and in Hawaiian mahu. The slang word in Samoa mala or “devastation” in the Samoan Bible, the fa’afafine is less used.

7)  Trans Man

The (FTM) female to male transexual or called the trans man, Buck Angel is an adult film producer, performer and JRBM icon. A trans man is also another term for a female-to-male (FTM) transgender or transexual person, assigned female at birth, but being identified as male. 

Born as Chastity Sun Bono on March 4,1969, an American transgender advocate now known as Chaz Salvatore Bono, musician and writer, and the only child of American performers and entertainers, Sonny Bono and Cher, though each had children from other relationship.

8)  Trans Women

The American actress, musician and cabaret performer Alexis Arquette (born Robert Arquette,July 28, 1969) is a transgender person with a female gender identity, also defined as trans woman (sometimes trans-woman or transwoman. The label of transgender woman is not interchangeable with that of transsexual woman, although the two are often combined or mistaken for the same thing. A transsexual woman is someone was assigned male at birth but whose gender identity is that of a woman. A girlfrag in Western LGBT culture, is a person which during birth is a female who feels a strong attraction to bisexual men or gay. Oftentimes the  Girlfags have an affinity for gay male culture. The guydyke person, assigned male at birth and attracted to lesbians, lesbian culture and bisexual women.

9)  Homosexual behavior in animals

 The homosexual behavior among animals was being observed and both an argument for and against the homosexuality in human‘s acceptance, and has been used especially against the claim that it is a “sin against nature” (peccatum contra naturam). A report revealed the every male that sniffed a female was reported as sex, while anal intercourse with orgasm between males was only “revolving around” dominance, competition or greetings. It takes different forms in Animal sexual behaviour, even within the same species. Researchers have closely observed among animals the practiced of monogamy (single sexual partner), promiscuity (practice of casual sex with multiple sexual partners), sex between species, sexual arousal from objects or places, sex apparently via duress (coercion refers to a situation whereby a person performs an act as a result of violence, threat or other pressure against the person), copulation or necrophilia (sex with dead animals),homosexual, bisexual and heterosexual, situational sexual behavior, bisexual behavior, and other ranges of practices.

The Black swans, an estimated one-quarter of all pairings are of male homosexuals. They steal nests, or form temporary threesomes with females to obtain eggs, driving away the female after she lays the eggs. More of their cynets (swan chicks) survived to adulthood than those of different-sex pairs, possibly due to their superior ability to defend large portions of land. The same system has been applied to male flamingo pairs raising chicks.

The female western gulls studies have shown that 10 to 15 percent in some populations in the wild exhibit homosexual behavior.

The American White Ibis homosexual behavior have increased according to studies and research, showing the bad effect of the environmental pollutant methylmercury. The study and research involved the ibis chicks exposed in varying dosages to the chemical and measuring the degree of homosexual behavior in adulthood. The results discovered was that as the dosage increased,  the homosexual behavior also increased, and the featured endocrine blocking of mercury has been suggested as a possible cause of sexual disruption in other bird.

The form male-female pairs of Mallards, and only until the female lays eggs, at which time the male leaves the female. Mallards have rates of male-male sexual activity that are unusual and weird high for birds, which in some cases, there are  as high as 19% of all Mallards population pairs.

The Chinstrap Penguins same sex male pairs, Roy and Silo (born 1987), in New York City’s Central Park Zoo. They were noted by the zoo staff that they were performing mating rituals in 1998, although no actual sexual acts were seen, and in 1999 attempted to hatch a  which looks like an egg.

The African Penguin or also known as the Black-footed Penguin also widely known as the “Jackass” Penguin for its donkey-like bray. The African Penguins, a pair of male penguins called Buddy and Pedro, were separated by the Toronto Zoo to train them to mate with female penguins, Buddy has since paired off with a female.

The two male Griffon vultures named Dashik and Yehuda at the Jerusalem Biblical Zoo, was observed engaging in an open and energetic sex ritual in 1998 and built a nest. The keepers provided the weird male couple with an artificial egg, which the two parents took turns incubating and 45 days later, the zoo keeper replaced the egg with a baby vulture. The two male vultures raised the chick together.Yehuda became interested in a female vulture that was brought into the aviary. Dashik became depressed, and was eventually moved to Tel Aviv University zoological research garden where Dashik, was  set up a nest with a female vulture.

Among the American Bison, the full anal penetration during the courtship and mounting, between bulls has been weirdly  noted to occur. The Okipa festival in the Mandan nation concludes with a ceremonial enactment of this behavior, to “ensure the return of the buffalo in the coming season.”The mounting of one female by another female is also very common among cattle. 

The Bonobo weird and unusual matriarchal society among the apes, is a fully bisexual species, for both males and females engaging into homosexual and heterosexual behavior, being noted for female to female homosexuality behavior in particular. The Bonobo sexual activities occurs two or more females estimated about roughly 60%, practiced this sexual rituals. The studies on homosexual bonding system in Bonobos represents the highest frequency of homosexuality known in any species, homosexuality has been reported for all great apes where human is included as well as a number of other species of primates.

The African and Asian elephants males will engage in same-sex bonding and mounting, and these encounters are often associated with affectionate interactions, such as kissing, trunk intertwining, and placing or inserting of trunks in each other’s mouths. Most of the male elephants, often live apart from the general herd, forming often  “companionship“, which consist of one older elephant and or sometimes two male younger elephants, with weird  younger sexual behavior as an important part of the social dynamic. Which differs from heterosexual relations, which are always of a fleeting nature, the relationships between males which may last for years. These weird mating encounters are similar or alike  to heterosexual match, one male often extends his trunk along the other elephant’s back and pushing forward with his tusks signifying his intention to mount. The elephant’s same-sex relations are common and frequent in both sexes, with Asiatic elephants in captivity and devote sexual encounters to same-sex activity.

The domesticated sheep (Ovis aries), is one species in which exclusive homosexual orientation occurs.” Some studies show that about 10% of  male sheep or rams refuse to mate with female sheep or ewe but do readily mate with other rams.”

Earthworms are simultaneous hermaphrodites, having both male and female reproductive organs.

Teiidae lizard

Teiidae is a Lizard family, native to the Americas, generally known as whiptails lizards, have “all-female or almost all female populations”. The weird parthenogenesis reproduce the lizards, and research has shown that simulated weird mating behavior increases fertility. One example, is that one female lies on top of another, engaging in pseudocopulation, however, as Collins and Pinch stated that this ‘story’ has been disputed. All Teiidae or whiptails lizards lay eggs, or some species laying large clutches of eggs.

In several dragonflies of the order Odonata, the male homosexuality has been the process of deriving logical conclusions from premises known or assumed to be true. The male damselflies of cloacal pinchers and dragonflies inflict characteristic head damage to females during sex. A survey of 11 species of damsel and dragonflies has revealed such weird mating damages in 20 to 80% also of the males, indicating a high occurrence of sexual mating between males.

Fruit flies

The male Drosohila melanogaster flies, bearing two copies of a fruitless gene court mutant allele and attempt to mate exclusively with other males. The Drosohila melanogaster flies have multiple genes which have been identified that can cause weird homosexual courtship and mating.

10)  Genderqueer

Genderqueer (GQ) an alternatively non-binary gender is a catch-all term for gender identities other than man and woman, thus outside of the gender binary (a sex and gender into two distinct) classification and cisnormativity (gender identity). A person identified as genderqueer think of themselves as man and woman, bigender, pangender, neither man nor woman, genderless, agender, moving between genders, genderfluid, third gender or other gender including a person who do not place a name to their gender having an overlap of or blurred lines between gender identity and sexual romantic orientation.

Chris Pureka, a Queergender

Chris Pureka is an American acoustic singer and songwriter from Northampton, Massachusetts identified as genderqueer and cultivates an androgynous (man or woman referring to masculine and feminine combination characteristics in fashion, sexual identity or sexual lifestyle or physically and biologically inter-sexed, especially regarding to human sexuality and plants) appearance. Pureka has received positive reviews in the long-running radical feminist off our backs publication and other magazines. Pureka’s music does not deal LGBT explicitly with issues, and just focus on emotional interactions between individuals.

Andrej Pejić

Andrej Pejić , born August 28, 1991 in Tuzla, Sr Bosnia-Herzegovina, SFR Yugoslavia is a Bosnian Australian androgynous model, an Australian fashion model, does not use the term genderqueer , but has publicly stated that they identify as neither male nor female.
