Rich and Famous Bollywood Celebrities

The largest film producer in India and one of the world’s largest film production centers of the film industry based in Mumbai (formerly known as Bombay), Maharashtra is known as Bollywood in informal term commonly used for the Hindi language, the term is often incorrectly used in referring the Indian cinema or formally known as Hindi cinema. In Bollywood films, Bollywood songs, or in formal way known as Hindi film songs, are featured in the films, also known as filmi songs. In the Hindi cinema the presence of Indian English has been a growing in dialogue and in Hindi film songs, which is very common to see films featuring Hinglish dialogue with English words, phrases, or even whole sentences. Hinglish (is a name combination of two words like Hindi and English) is a mixture language, a hybrid of English and South Asian languages, it is a code-switching various languages where they are free to mix English with their native language within a sentence or between sentences, example of Hinglish vocabulary,  glassy: wanting a drink, Eve teasing  (public sexual harassment) co-brother: brother-in-law, and many others. Hinglish is commonly seen in Hindi-speaking states in India in urban and semi-urban centers, but becoming viral and spread in many rural and remote areas through media or television, mobile phones and by word of mouth, which slowly achieving native language or native dialect status. Hinglish has also affected the English speaking in England, influenced by Indian immigrants with their adaptation of words and expressions and their offspring into colloquial English in England. Bollywood films are  popular not only in India or Hindi speaking audience, but became famous as far as Nigeria, Egypt, Senegal, Chad, Ethiopia and to Russia’s generations of non-Indian fans have grown up with Bollywood during the years, the cross-cultural appeal of Indian movies. Bollywood films is also popular among Somali diaspora, where the emerging Islamic Courts Union found a Bête noire or something they hated. Bollywood films are watched widely in the  South Asian countries, like Nepal, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Sri Lanka, where some notable Bollywood celebrities originated from these countries. These are some of the Bollywood notable Indian celebrities.

1) Aamir Khan

Aamir Hussain Khan born March 14, 1965, is an Indian film actor, director, and producer, one of the leading actors of Hindi cinema. Aamir Khan started his acting career as a child actor in the 1973 film Yaadon Ki Baaraat, with his uncle actor Nasir Hussain. After eleven years, Aamir Khan began his professional career with the 1984 film Holi and had his first commercial success with the 1988′s Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak,  followed by the 2008′s thriller Ghajini, became the highest grossing film of 2008, and the 2009′s comedy 3 Idiots, became 2010′s highest-grossing Bollywood film. Aamir Khan was appointed as UNICEF’s national brand ambassador to promote child nutrition on November 30, 2011. Aamir Khan was ranked among Time magazine’s 100 Most Influential People in the World List in April 2013. Aamir Khan married Reena Dutta, on April 18, 1986, who had a cameo role in Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak. Khan and Dutta have two children, a son named Junaid and a daughter, Ira. Reena Dutta worked as a producer for the film Lagaan and was involved in Khan’s acting career shortly. Aamir Khan filed for divorce in December 2002, ending their 15-year marriage, his ex wife Reena took custody of their two children. Khan married Kiran Rao, an Indian film producer, screenwriter, and director, on December 28, 2005, who had been an assistant director to Ashutosh Gowariker during the Lagaan‘s filming. Aamir Khan and his wife, Kiran Rao, announced the birth of their son, Azad Rao Khan, on December 5, 2011, through a surrogate mother. Khan lost a custody battle for his younger brother Faisal to their father, Tahir Hussain in 2007. On February 2, 2010, Khan’s father passed away. He is a supporter of Muslim religion.

2)  Zayed Khan

Zayed Abbas Khan, born 5 July 1980, is an Indian actor actor and producer who appears in numerous Hindi films, best known for his performance in Main Hoon Na. Zayed Khan’s parents are former actor of Bollywood Sanjay Khan and Zarine Khan, an interior designer. Zayed Khan is the youngest of four children. Khan’s older sisters are Simone Khan married to Ajay Arora, Sussanne Roshan married to actor  Hrithik Roshan, and Farah Khan Ali married to India’s singer and composer DJ Aqeel. Zayed Khan is related as first cousin to Fardeen Khan, another Bollywood actor, whose father is also a Bollywood actor Feroz Khan, the brother of Zayed’s father. On November 20, 2005, Khan married his childhood sweetheart Mallaika Parekh, and together they have a son, Zidaan, who was born on January 18, 2008, and welcomed a second son born on September 22, 2011, named Aariz. Zayed Khan is best known for his hairstyle, clothes and choices of shoes, wearing often sleeveless baniyans, wear white shoes more than chappals.

Farah Khan Ali

Farah Khan Ali is a gemologist (dealing with natural and artificial gems and gemstones) and jewellery designer in India, the eldest of the four children of parents Actor-Producer-Director Sanjay Khan and his wife Zarine Khan, Interior Designer. Farah Khan Ali is the sister of Suzanne Roshan (married to actor Hrithik Roshan) and Zayed Khan. In 2004, Farah launched her own jewellery brand Farah Khan. Farah designed jewellery for some of the top Bollywood stars and India’s prominent business families. Farah Khan married DJ Aqeel. Together, they have two children, a son, Azaan and a daughter, Fizaa. DJ Aqeel is a known DJ, singer and composer from India, became popular after his song Shake it daddy Mix in early 2000, with his rising popularity when his song Tu hai wahi which was a remix of the song Yeh Wada Raha from the 1982 movie of the same title became popular in the 2000. DJ Aqeel opened a club recently, named Hype, in Atria Mall in Worli, Mumbai, also in Delhi’s Hotel Shangrila.

Hrithik Roshan

Hrithik Roshan born on January 10, 1974, is an Indian film actor best known as a versatile actor, and work ethic to great dramatic range. In 1980′s Hrithik became popular as a child actor, made his film debut in a leading role in 2000′s Kaho Naa…Pyaar Hai. Hrithik garnered Filmfare Awards for Best Actor and Best Male Debut with his performance in the said film. In the same year, Hrithik’s film was followed with leading roles in Fiza and Mission Kashmir (both films released in 2000) and in the 2001 film Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham  multi-star blockbuster. Hrithik was born in Mumbai to a family of actors and musician personalities. His father, Rakesh Roshan is a film director, is the son of  Roshan, music director, while his mother, Pinky Prakash Roshan, is the daughter of J. Om Prakash, producer and director. Hrithik has an elder sister, Sunaina. His uncle Rajesh Roshan is a music director. In an interview Hrithik, revealed that his childhood was traumatized because of stammering or a speech disorder when he was around six years old and bothers him sometimes. His speech disorder improved for him gradually, after he started practicing speech therapies everyday. Roshan was born with supernumerary thumb or two thumbs on his right hand, although in his films, it is commonly hidden, but was shown in the 2003 Bollywood science fiction film,  Koi… Mil Gaya (English: I… Found Someone) directed by his father, Rakesh Roshan, who also appeared in cameo role, which starred himself, Hrithik Roshan, Rekha and Preity Zinta, and was even used as a minor plot point, as Jaadoo the alien was also designed to have two thumbs. Hrithik Roshan married Suzanne Khan, daughter of actor Sanjay Khan, on December 20, 2000, together they have two sons, Hrehaan (born in 2006) and Hridhaan (born in 2008).

3)  Fardeen Khan

Fardeen Khan is an Indian film actor actor, born March 8, 1974, known for his predominant acting career in Bollywood. In 1998, Fardeen has made his acting debut in Hindi film with Prem Agan, for which he has received the Filmfare Best Debut Award. In 2001, Fardeen starred in successful films such as Love Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega, 2003′s Bhoot, 2005′s No Entry, in 2007′s Heyy Babyy and the 2009′s All the Best: Fun Begins. Fardeen Khan was born to Bollywood actor Feroz Khan and mother Sundari. Fardeen is the nephew of actors Sanjay Khan and Akbar Khan, and he is the cousin of actor Zayed Khan and Suzanne Khan. Fardeen Khan is married to Natasha Madhwani, on December 2005, daughter of Mumtaz, Hindi cinema actress. The wedding was held at Amby Valley, Mumbai. In 2001, Fardeen Khan was was sent back to Narcotics Control Bureau custody, and was accused of carrying cocaine, but was found not guilty. Fardeen announced on October 26, 2012, on his Twitter account that he and his wife are expecting twins and that his wife is 13 weeks pregnant. Khan announced on October 10, 2013 on his Twitter account that he and his wife, Natasha, were expecting a baby in December 2013.

Feroz Khan

Feroz Khan was an Indian actor, director, producer and film editor in the Hindi film industry born September 25, 1939, in Bangalore, India. Feroz Khan is famous for his cowboy walk or strut arrogantly and flamboyant style and cigar toting persona and was named Clint Eastwood of the Hindi cinema. September 25, 1939 – 27 April 2009, Feroz Khan became one of the most loved heroes in India’s cinema with his role in the hit film Qurbani which he also is the director in 1980, and he had appeared in over 50 films in the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s. Khan was born to a Pathan (Pashtun people), an Afghan immigrant (an ethnic group with populations in Afghanistan and Pakistan) father belonging to the tanoli tribe tribe of Ghazni, while his mother was of Iranian descent. Feroz’ brothers are Bollywood actor Sanjay Khan (Abbas Khan), Shahrukh Shah Ali Khan, Sameer Khan and director Akbar Khan and a sister, Dilshad Bibi. Feroz Khan was married to Sundari Khan, and together they have a son, who became an actor, Fardeen Khan, married to Natasha Madhwani, daughter of former Bollywood actress Mumtaz. Feroz’ daughter Laila Khan, was first married to national level tennis player, Rohit Rajpal, but their marriage ended in divorce, and later Laila married Farhan Furniturewala in 2010. Although, Feroz’ son, actor Fardeen and son in law Farhan had their differences after their nearly came to a fight at a nightclub with each other, Fardeen and Farhan sorted and settled their differences, and later became friends and as family members. Feroz Khan became very ill, and returned to his farmhouse in Bangalore to rest, and died on April 27, 2009 at the age of 69, to a battle with cancer.

4)  Nayantara

Nayantara born Diana Mariam Kurian on November 18, 1984 in Thiruvalla, Kerala to parents Kurian Kodiyattu and Omana Kurian, both from Malayali Syrian Christian, is an Indian film actress appearing in South Indian films. Nayantara made her acting debut in Manassinakkare, the 2003 Malayalam film, followed with the successful 2004′s Vismayathumbathu before invading the Tamil and Telugu cinema. Nayantara made her debut in 2005′s Ayya, a film by Tamil cinema, and appeared in the successful hit film, Ghajini later that year. In 2005, Nayantara gained fame as a lead actress such as Chandramukhi film. Nayantara’s brother, Leno, who is nine years older to her, is residing in Dubai. Nayantara studied in various parts of India, such as North India, as her father was an Indian Air Force official. Nayantara was romantically linked with the film’s director and co-actor Silambarasan Rajendar (popularly known as Silambarasan, is an Indian film actor, director, playback singer and lyricist of the Tamil film industry) during the filming of her Tamil film, Vallavan. She vehemently denied the reports, however, she confirmed in November 2006, that she and Silambarasan had split up, and add that she will not be working with him again. In 2008, during the filming and after the release of her film Villu, reports spread that she was in a relationship with director Prabhu Deva, with some sources and even claimed that both got married secretly in June 2009. Nayantara had tattooed Prabhu’s name on her wrist, and began appearing with him in publicly, while keeping mum and refused to comment about the relationship. Prabhu Deva openly confessed his love for Nayantara in September 2010, and further stated that he would marry her soon. Prabhu Deva applied for Divorce and separated from his wife.Nayantara confirmed in 2012 that she had ended her relationship with Prabhu Deva. Nayantara made a movie comeback, after the break-up of the much publicized relationship with Prabhu Deva and began shooting in March 2012, with Rana Daggubati for Krish’s Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum, after an 11-months break from work. Narantaya converted to Hinduism on August 7, 2011 at the Arya Samaj Temple in Chennai, during the time she was dating Prabhu Deva who was a Hindu, and she wanted to please him. Nayantara went through a procedure Shuddhi Karma involving a Vedic purification and a Homam where she chanted the hymns from Veda and Gayatri Mantra under the priest’s supervision, and a Certificate of Conversion to Hinduism was issued to Nayan, after the purification ceremony, thus, her stage name Nayantara became her official name. Nayantara has a postaxial polydactyly on her left hand.

Silambarasan

Silambarasan Thesingu Rajendar popularly known as Silambarasan, born February 3, 1983, is an Indian film actor, director, playback singer and lyricist of the Tamil film industry. Silambarasan started acting as a child actor in films directed by his father, director, music composer, singer actor, screenwriter and politician, Vijaya Thesingu Rajendar known as T. Rajendar, before his first leading role in 2002′s Kadhal Azhivathillai , under the direction of his father and produced by her mother, former actress Usha Rajendar. His mother tongue is Tamil. Silambarasan has two younger siblings, a brother Kuralarasan and a sister Illakiya.

Prabhu Deva

Prabhu Deva is an Indian film choreographer, stage dancer, actor and director known for his works in Tamil, Telugu cinema, Bollywood, Malayalam and Kannada films, with his career for a span of 25 years in the musical and film industry as versatile entertainer. Prabhu Deva has performed and choreograph wide range of styles in dancing, winning two National Film Awards for Best Choreography, and was famous known as the Michael Jackson of India. Prabhu Dheva was married to Ramlath who was a Christian but converted to Hinduism changing her name to Latha as her name in Hinduism, and together they had three children, their eldest son (Basavaraju orVishal) who died in 2008 of cancer. In 2008, while filming Villu, he was romantically linked to actress Nayantara, fell in love on the sets with some reports that they got married secretly, since Prabhu is still married to Ramlath. The scandal issue gained wide media attention that turned into a controversy, since Prabhu Dheva was not yet divorced from Ramalath, which Prabhu Dheva claimed in public that his marriage to Ramalath was invalid, that Prabhu married Nayantara secretly after she underwent conversion to Hinduism. Ramlath filed a petition at the family court, unwilling to grant a divorce, requesting for reconciliation with Prabhu, seeking complaints against her husband and Nayantara’s marriage, while Prabhu and Nayantara has been seen together in public,attending functions and receiving awards as husband and wife. Ramalath threatened to go on a hunger strike if her husband Prabhu Dheva married Nayantara, while numerous women’s organizations conducted protests burning  Nayantara’s effigy against for disrespecting the Tamil culture. Nayantara confirmed in 2012, that she had separated with Prabhu Deva. Prabhu Dheva is residing at the old place of Boney Kapoor in Green Acres in Mumbai.

5)  Ashish Chowdhry

Ashish Chowdhry is a Bollywood actor, a former Indian model who appears in Bollywood films. Ashish Chowdhry gained popularity in 2003  in his action movie Qayamat, followed by appearing in movies like Girlfriend, Spedd, Three-Love, Lies and Betrayal, Paying Guests, Dhamaal & Double Dhamaal. Chowdhry is the Onida‘s brand ambassador. In Novemebr 27, 2008, his sister and brother-in-law were held hostage and was killed in the the tragedy of shootings in Mumbai, while having dinner at the Oberoi hotel. Despite this personal tragedy, Ashish Chowdhry became popular for opposing the death penalty despite the death of his sister and brother-in-law, to Ajmal Kasab (Mohammed Ajmal Amir Kasab) who was hanged on November 21, 2012 at 7:30 a.m.) and criticized the celebrations following the hanging to death of Ajmal Kasab.

6)  Abhay Deol

Abhay Singh Deol best known as Abhay Deol, is an Indian film actor and producer, born 15 March 1976 who is known for appearing in the Hindi language films of Bollywood. Abhay Deol’s family are involved in the Hindi film industry, and he is the nephew of Dharmendra, and the cousin of Esha Deol, Ahana Deol, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol. Abhay Deol has been recognized for his performances, and has established himself as a leading actor of Hindi cinema for many years. Abhay’s role in Zindagi Na Millegi Dobara was recognized and garnered an award for his first nomination for Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor and has since appeared in several films such as Chakravyuh is a Bollywood political war film, Shanghai is a 2012 Hindi political thriller film and Raanjhanaa a 2013 Indian romantic drama film, garnering critical acclaim and being described as a versatile actor who understands how to play complex characters. Abhay Deol is in a relationship with actress Preeti Desai , who was born and raised in Middlesbrough, North Yorkshire, England, an Indian-British super model and former Miss Great Britain and a British Indian film actress. Preeti Desai made history by becoming the first woman of Indian origin to ever win the title as a British Indian celebrity, and in 2011, she is listed as the Times of India’s 50 Most Desirable Women and People Magazine’s 50 Most Beautiful People. Preeti Desai made her acting debut with acclaimed 2011 film Shor in the City, a 2011 Hindi film starring Tusshar Kapoor, a Hindi film actor, Sendhil Ramamurthy, Preeti Desai, Girija Oak is a Marathi film and television actress, Radhika Apte is an Indian film and stage actress, Nikhil Dwivedi a Hindi film actor, Pitobash Tripathy a Hindi film actor, originally from the state of Orissa,India,  Sundeep Kishan, an Indian film actor, and Amit Mistry. In October 2012, Preeti Desai was nominated for Best Lead Actress at South Asian Rising Star Film Awards in New York City, presented by SAIFF and HBO. Abhay Deol will appear in an upcoming feature film titled One by Two with Preeti Desai in the leading role, directed by Devika Bhagat and produced by i.e. films and Amit Kapoor cynosure networkz music by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. Abhay Deol currently resides in Mumbai, where he grew up.

Dharmendra

Dharam Singh Deol better known as Dharmendra, 77 years old Hindi film actor, named as India’s Action King and He-Man for his roles in action films. Dharmendra’s most notable roles was in the 1975′s Sholay film. In 1954, Dharmendra’s first marriage was to Prakash Kaur at the age of 19, and in his first marriage, he has two successful Hindi actor sons, Sunny Deol, (age 57,  Indian film actor, producer and director, often referred to as Action King of Bollywood, married to Pooja Deol, and have two sons Karan Deol(21) and Rajvir Deol(17),) and another son, Bobby Deol (born Vijay Singh Deol, age 46, married to Tanya Ahuja) and two daughters,Vijeeta Deol and Ajeeta Deol. Dharmendra fell in love with Hema Malini, an Indian actress, director and producer, Bharatanatyam dancer-choreographer, a politician, whom both met during the filming of Sholay. Herma Malini and Dharmendra married in 1980, and together they have two daughters, Esha Deol, age 32, an Indian film actress who appears in Bollywood films. and Ahana Deol an Indian film actress and also a dancer.

Esha Deol

Esha Deol was born on November 2, 1981 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. She was given the full name of Esha Dharmendra Deol was her given full name, which the name Esha comes from the Upanishads derived from the Sanskrit language, which means the divine beloved. Esha Deol is the elder daughter of Bollywood actors Dharmendra and Hema Malini, and her younger sister’s name is Ahana Deol, also an actress and dancer. Esha’s half-brothers are actors Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, and half sisters Vijeeta Deol and Ajeeta Deol. Esha Deol and actor Abhay Deol are first cousin. She is part Punjabi and part Tamil, and speak Tamil with her mother, Hema and sister, Ahana. On February 12, 2012, Esha Deol got engaged to her boyfriend Bharat Takhtani, a businessman and married on June 29, 2012.

Ahana Deol

Ahana Deol is an Odissi, also known as Orissi dancer, one of the eight India’s classical form of dance. Ahana is known as the daughter of Indian film actors Dharmendra and Hema Malini. Her various interests, includes Indian classical dance, film-making and fashion designer, currently an actoress-in-the-making. Ahana lives with her mother Hema Malini and sister Esha Deol in Mumbai, India. Ahana Deol, is an accomplished Odissi dancer have performed in India and abroad, especially at the famous Khajuraho Dance Festivala, one week long festival of classical dances held annually. Ahana also performs regularly at stage shows with her mother and sister.

7)  Abhishek Bachchan

Abhishek Bachchan is an Indian film actor, was recognized andhas received three Filmfare Awards for acting, a National Award as producer (for Paa) and was named in 2010, as one of the highest paid actors in Bollywood. In 2000, Bachchan made his acting debut in the drama film Refugee, became a full-fledged movie star after he starred in 2004′s commercially successful action thriller Dhoom, which was the first film in the Dhoom series. Abhishek Bachchan is married to Aishwarya Rai, an Indian actress, model and former first runner up of the Miss India pageant and winner of 1994′s Miss World pageant. AbhishekAb Bachchan comes from a famous Bollywood family. His father, a leading actor in Hindi cinema, Amitabh Bachchan and his mother Jaya Bhaduri Bachchan known as Jaya Bachchan was a Hindi leading actress. Abhishek’s father Amitabh Bachchan turned 60 in October 2002, and Abhishek announced his engagement with his actress girlfriend, Karisma Kapoor, However, in January 2003, the engagement was called off, when Abhishek fell in love with actress Aishwarya Rai, who is two years older than Abhishek, while filming Dhoom 2, although they already appeared together in Dhai Akshar Prem Ke (in which Aishwarya Rai then longtime boyfriend, Salman Khan, appeared in a brief cameo role) and Kuch Naa Kaho. On January 14, 2007, Bachchan and Rai announced their engagement, and married on April 20, 2007. In September 2009, Abhishek and Aishwarya appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show and were described as more famous celebrities in Bollywood, than Brangelina. On Novemebr 16, 2011, Rai gave birth to a daughter, and became quite popular by the name of Beti B which was nicknamed by the media and their avid fans, since the couple was searching for a name for their daughter which took over four months. In March 2012, their daughter was finally christened as Aaradhya Bachchan.

8)  Karisma Kapoor

Karisma Kapoor often informally known as Lolo, is an Indian actress appearing in Bollywood films, daughter of actors Randhir Kapoor and Babita. In 1991, Kapoor made her acting debut at the age of seventeen with Prem Qaidi. Kapoor has played the leading role in the television series, 2003 Karishma- The Miracles of Destiny and has featured as a reality show talent judge for the Nach Baliye and Hans Baliye. In October 2002, Karisma was engaged to actor Abhishek Bachchan and the engagement was announced during Amitabh Bachchan’s 60th birthday (Abhishek’s father), but four months later they split up in February 2003. Karisma Kapoor  married industrialist Sunjay Kapur, CEO of Sixt India on September 29, 2003, in typical Kapoor tradition. The couple, Karisma and Sunjay, opted for an hour-long Sikh wedding ceremony as Sunjay is Sikh. On March 11, 2005, the couple’s daughter Samaira was born and on March 12, 2010, Karisma gave birth to their second child, son Kiaan Raj Kapoor.

Kareena Kapoor

Kareena Kapoor born September 21, 1980, also known as Kareena Kapoor Khan, is an Indian actress who appeared in various Bollywood films. Kareena Kapor is the daughter of actors Randhir Kapoor and Babita, and the younger sister of actress Karisma Kapoor. Kareena Kapoor, is famous for her variuos characters she performed in range of film genres from romantic comedies to crime dramas.Kareena Kapoor has garnered six Filmfare Awards, and established herself as one of India’s most high-profile celebrities. Kareena is married to actor Saif Ali Khan. Kareena Kapoor’s life off screen, has been a popular media attention for her being outspoken publicly, and is recognized for her contributions to the film industry through her roles in Hindi cinema films and her style in fashion. Kareena has also launched Globus a retail chain of her own clothing line.

Saif Ali Khan

Saif Ali Khan , also known as Nawab Saif Ali Khan born Sajid Ali Khan in 1970 is an Indian actor known for his roles in Bollywood films. In 1992, he made his acting debut with Yash Chopra‘s film Parampara. In 1994, Saif Ali Khan had his first success films Main Khiladi Tu Anari and Yeh Dillagi. Saif Ali Khan rose into prominence with his performance in 2001′s Dil Chahta Hai by Farhan Akhtar‘s film, which marked his professional turning point. after several years of frustration and failures throughout the 1990s. Saif Ali Khan is the son of Mansoor Ali Khan, the cricket player and last titular Nawab of Pataudi and his mother, actress Sharmila Tagore. From 1991 to 2004, Saif Ali Khan was married to actress Amrita Singh, having two children together. Saif Ali Khan married actress Kareena Kapoor on October 16, 2012 after a five-year relationship.

9)  Salman Khan

Salman Khan born Abdul Rashid Salim Salman Khan on December 27, 1965, is an Indian film actor, producer, television presenter, and philanthropist. Salman Khan is the eldest son of actor and screenwriter Salim Khan, and his first wife Sushila Charak. Salman Khan started dating actress Katrina Kaif, and she admitted in 2011′s interview that for several years, she and Salman Khan was in a serious relationship which ended in 2010. Salman Khan revealed in August 2011, that he suffers from Trigeminal neuralgia (TN, or TGN), also known as prosopalgia, a facial nerve disorder commonly known as the suicide disease (a neuropathic disorder described by episodes of intense pain in the face, that originates from the trigeminal nerve). Katrina Kaif

10) Akshay Kumar

Akshay Kumar born Rajiv Hari Om Bhatia, is an Indian film actor, producer and martial art artist, who has appeared in Hindi films for  over a hundred or over 125 films. Akshay Kumar has been nominated for Filmfare Awards several times, and won twice. On February 16, 2013, Numerous media outlets reported that the boxoffice collection of Akshay Kumar films has reached 2000 crore (US$310 million) and currently the only Bollywood actor to earn big, and has established himself as a leading existing actor of Hindi cinema. Kumar has worked as a stunt actor, where he often performed many dangerous stunts in his films, which he has earned a name as the Indian Jackie Chan. In 2008, Akshay Kumar marked his debut as the host of the television show Fear Factor- Khatron Ke Khiladi. Kumar founded the Hari Om Entertainment production company in 2009. In India, Akshay Kumar obtained a black belt in Taekwondo, and he studied martial arts in Bangkok, Thailand where he learned Muay Thai or Kick Boxing, and worked as a chef and waiter. Kumar then came back to Mumbai, began teaching martial arts. Akshay Kumar was named the Sexiest Man Alive by India’s People magazine. Kumar was awarded the highest Japanese honor of Katana and a sixth degree black belt in Kuyukai Gōjū-ryū Okinawan style karate in Japan. Akshay Kumar was engaged twice to actress Twinkle Khanna, the daughter of actor Rajeh Khanna and Indian film actress Dimple Kapadia, and married her on January 17, 2001. Twinkle Khanna

Twinkle Khanna born Tina Jatin Khanna is an Indian film actress who has acted in Bollywood and Telugu films (Cinema of Andhra Pradesh (also known as Telugu cinema or Tollywood) is a part of Indian cinema, based in Hyderabad, India). She is married to a popular Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar, and the daughter of established actors, Dimple Kapadia and the late Rajesh Khanna. In 2001, after Twinkle Khanna left her acting career in the film industry, she ventured into interior designing and currently the co-owner of The White Window store.

Dimple Kapadia

Dimple Chunnibhai Kapadia is an Indian film actress, became an actress at the age of 16, playing the title role in Raj Kapoor‘s teen romance 1973 film, Bobby. In that same year she married Indian actor Rajesh Khanna, retiring from acting, and became a mother of two daughters, Twinkle Khanna and Rinke Khanna, both former actresses in 1980′s Hindi cinema. Kapadia and Khanna separated in April 1982, left their house with her two daughters back to her parents, and returned to her acting career in 1984 became a lead actress of 1980s. Rajesh Khanna, died on July 18, 2012 of cancer, Rajesh Khanna’s ashes were immersed in Ganges on July 25, 2012, by his wife Dimple Kapadia and daughter Rinke Khanna. Dimple Kapadia shared her unhappy marital experience and called their marriage a farce  or a comedy-drama like, noting that it just took her as hell and took a long time realizing that.

11)  Shahrukh Khan

Shahrukh Khan sometimes credited as Shah Rukh Khan also informally called by his initials as SRK, is an Indian film actor, referred by media as Badshah of Bollywood or King Khan, he has appeared in 75 Hindi films ranging from romantic dramas to action thrillers. Shahrukh Khan’s acting career in India’s film industry, have won him numerous awards such as fourteen Filmfare Awards from thirty nominations, as eight times Filmfare Best Actor Award making him the most awarded Bollywood actors of all time in the Hindi cinema, ties once with Bollywood actor, Dilip Kumar, considered to be one of the greatest actors in the Hindi cinema history, and holds the Guinness World Record for winning the maximum number of awards by an Indian actor. In 1992, Shahrukh Khan, made his debut in Hindi film, Deewana. Among the twelve of the films SRK has acted in, have earned gross earnings of over 100 crocre  (US$15 million) worldwide, making SRK  one of the most successful leading actors of Hindi cinema, been featured regularly the most powerful names in Indian Cinema and was named one of the 50 most powerful people in the world Newsweek listing in 2008, and named in 2011, the world’s biggest movie star by Los Angeles Times. Shahrukh Khan was born on November 2, 1965 in New Delhi, India and grew up in Mangalore for five years. He was born to father, Taj Mohammed Khan, an ethnic Pathan, who was an Indian independence activist from Pehsawar, British India (now known as Pakistan), and his mother, Lateef Fatima, who was the adopted daughter of Major General Shah Nawaz Khan in the Indian National Army. In 1991, after the death of his mother, Khan moved to Mumbai. SRK married Gauri Chibber, a Hindu, on October 25, 1991 in a traditional Hindu wedding ceremony. Khan stated, while he strongly believes in Islam, he also values his wife’s religion, Hinduism. Their three children, son Aryan, born 1997 and daughter Suhana born in 2000, and AbRam born in 2013 via surrogate mother, follow both religions, at home, with the Q’uran being situated next to the Hindu deities. They have three children, son Aryan (b. 1997) and daughter Suhana (b. 2000). Khan’s older sister Shehnaz also lives with them.

Gauri Khan

Gauri Khan born Gauri Chhibber on October 8, 1970, is a film producer and interior designer. She is the co-founder of the film production and distribution company Red Chillies Entertainment with her husband, Shahrukh Khan, famous Bollywood actor.

12)  Preity Zinta

Preity Zinta is an Indian film actress, and has appeared in Bollywood Hindi films, as well as Telugu, Punjabi and English language films. Zinta made her acting debut in Dil Se 1998 film, after she graduated in criminal psychology degree, followed by a role in Soldier also of that the same year, garnering a Filfare Award for Best Female Debut, and she was later best known for her role as a teenage single mother in 2000 film Kya Kehma, played a variety types of character. Preity Zinta was born to father, Durganand Zinta, an officer in the Indian Army, a family from Rohru in Shimla District, Himachal Pradesh. Zinta was only 13 years old when her father died in a car accident, which that accident also involved her mother, Nilprabha, who was injured severely and remained bedridden for two years. Zinta has two brothers, Deepankar, a year older and a year younger brother, Manish. Deepankar Zinta, is a commissioned officer in the Indian Army, while Manish lives in California. Preity Zinta nearly escaped death in late 2004, first incident is after an explosion at a Temptation concert in Colombo, Sri Lanka and second during the Indian Ocean earthquake. Preity Zinta stands as a witness in 2003 in  the Bharat Shah case,  a diamond merchant and notable Hindi film financier and distributor, under his banner VIP Films, which Zinta, testified against the Indian mafia. Bharat Shah, is the financer of one of Zinta’s movies, Chori Chori Chupke Chupke, was arrested in 2000 for having connections with Chota Shakeel (Shakeel Babumiya Shaikh) a Mumbai underworld boss. Zinta repeated in court her earlier statement that she had received extortion threats from the mafia during the filming of the said movie. After Zinta’s testimony, she was forced to stay out from the public for two months and was given witness protection.Thirteen other witnesses before Zinta, including actors Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan, were supposedly witnesses in the case but later retracted from their earlier statements. Preity Zinta was the only witness who did not become hostile witness to the prosecution, the nation responded positively to her actions. In 2000, Zinta began dating actor and model Marc Robinson in 2000, however, they broke up the following year, but both have remained friends, according to Zinta. On February 2005 until May 2009, Zinta dated businessman Ness Wadia, the Bombay Dyeing heir. Zinta was involved in a scandal in March 2007, when actress and singer Suchitra Krishnamurthy cited her as the cause of her divorce from Shekhar Kapur, accusing Zinta, was having an affair with him. Shekhar Kapur

Shekhar Kapur is a critically acclaimed Indian film director, film maker or producer and actor, and rose to prominence with the Hindi language movie Bandit Queen based upon the life of an infamous Indian outlaw Phoolan Devi, and from television series known as Pradhanmantri TV Series Telecast on ABP News. Kapur’s historical biopics of Queen Elizabeth (Elizabeth) and The Golden Age, its sequel, garnered seven Academy Award nominations, including Best Picture and Best Actress for Cate Blanchett an Australian actress for her her role as Elizabeth I of England in the 1998 film Elizabeth. Kapur was born in Lahore, Punjab, British India now known as Pakistan, to a doctor father, Kulbhushan Kapur, who had a successful medical practice, and mother  Sheel Kanta, a journalist and stage actress. Shekhar Kapur is married to Suchitra Krishnamoorthi an Indian actress, writer, singer and painter. The couple have a daughter named Kaveri. Shekhar Kapur and Suchitra got divorced in February 2007. Suchitra is actively involved in charitable NGOs work.

13)  Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri Dixit is an Indian film actress who has appeared in Hindi films, cited as one of the best actresses in Bollywood, made her first film in 1984 Abodh and was noted with wider public recognition in the 1998 film Tezaab. Madhuri Dixit, continued to establish herself as one of the accomplished Hindi dancer, Hindi cinema’s leading actresses, acknowledged for her notable film performances and her beauty. Dixit holds the record for the highest number of 13 times Best Actress nomination at Filmfare Awards, has won six Filmfare Awards, four for Best Actress and one Best Supporting Actress, and one special Filmfare award for completing 25 years in Bollywood. Madhuri Dixit received the Padma Shri, India’s fourth-highest civilian award by the Government of India in 2008. Dixit married Shriram Madhav Nene, on October 17, 1999, a UCLA-trained cardiovascular surgeon who practiced in Denver. Dr. Shriram Nene is also from a Marathi Brahmin family. Dixit and Nene, have two sons, Arin, born March 2003 and Raayan born March 2005. Dixit had relocated to Denver after her marriage to Nene and reside in the United States for almost a decade. Dixit again moved back in October 2011, and currently based in Mumbai, India, along with her family. 14)  Armaan Verma

Armaan Verma was born in Mumbai on March 23, 1999, an Indian child actor of the Bollywood films, best known for his portrayal in the 2011′s mega-budget movie Ra.One, playing the role as the son of a game designer, starring alongside Bollywood actors Shahrukh Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Rampal.

Arjun Rampal is an Indian film actor, producer, model and a television host, works for Bollywood movies, first appeared as his acting debut in 2001′s Pyaar Isha Aur Mohabat, although this film was not a super hit, Arjun Rampal was appreciated for his performance and garnered several awards for his work in the movie including a Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut nomination. Rampal established his production company Chasing Ganesha Films, and as a film producer, he produced the 2006′s film I See You, under his banner and also he played the lead role. Rampal has been involved in other business ventures aside from acting and producing movies, and because of his performances and  film producing career, he has established himself as Bollywood’s leading actor. Arjun Rampal was born in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, to parents, Amarjeet Rampal and Gwen Rampal. Arjun Rampal is married to Mehr Jesia Rampal, former supermodel and Miss India, and together  they have two daughters, Mahikaa, born on January 17, 2002 and Myra, born June 2005. Rampal was first discovered by Rohit Bal in a night club where Rampal went on to showcase with Rohit Bal’s collections and Arjun Rampal, stayed with him before making a move to Mumbai. Priyank Chopra lived with her aunt in the United states for some years when she was in her teens. John Abraham is an Indian film actor, producer and former model. Abraham made his first film appearance in the 2003′s Jism, after working as a commercial model for advertisements and companies, where he earned a Filmfare Best Debut Award nomination, followed by his first commercial success, 2004′s Dhoom. John Abraham established his own film production company the John Abraham Entertainment, and produced the film Madras Cafe, in which he is also the lead actor. The Madras Cafe film garnered amazing critical acclaim and box office hits. Bipasha Basu nicknamed Bips, is an Indian actress and a former model, who appears in Hindi language films, has also worked in Telugu, Bengal and Tamil language films. Basu first appeared in 2001 film Ajnabee, debuted in a negative role, and garnered  the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. Bipasha Basu’s first commercial success was 2002′s Raaz, was then noticed for her bold role in the 2003′s erotic thriller film, Jism. Bips Basu was born on January 7, 1979 to a Bengali family in Delhi, and has two sisters, where she lived in Pampoosh Enclave, Nehru Place, a large commercial, financial, and business center in Delhi, India, until age of eight, then moved to Kolkata with her family. 18)  Shabir Sebastian Ahluwalia

Shabir Sebastian Ahluwalia is an Indian television actor, best known for his character roles as Rishi Garewal in the Soap Opera, Kahiin to Hoga and as Milind Mishra in the serial Kayamath co-starred with Panchi Bora. Shabir made his debut in the movie Shootout at Lokhandwala in Bollywood followed by his second movie 2008′s Mission Istanbul. Shabbir Ahluwalia is was born on August 10, 1979 in Mumbai to a Catholic mother and Punjabi (Sikh) father. He spells his name as Shabir although the media often uses the spelling Shabbir. He is married to TV actress Kanchi Kaul, best known for her roles in Indian Television as Ananya Sachdev-Samarth in the show Ek Ladki Anjaani Si. Kanchi is a trained scuba diver and loves adventure sports. In 2010 he won the first place in the reality show Fear Factor- Khatron ke Khiladi Level 3, the Fear Factor Indian version television reality show.

19)   Kajol

Kajol Mukherjee Devgn best known simply as Kajol, is an Indian film actress, born August 5, 1974, has received six Filmfare Awards from eleven nominations, and along with her late aunt Nutan (Indian actress Nutan Samarth Behl, she is the mother of Indian film and television actor Mohnish Bahl), holds the record for five most Best Actress winner at Filmfare. The Government of India awarded her with the Padma Shri in 2011, the fourth highest civilian award of the country. Kajol is born to parents, actress Tanuja and film director Shomu Mukherjee. Kajol made her first acting debut with 1992 film Bekhudi while still in school.Kajol was featured as Zee TV‘s reality show, 2008′s Rock-N-Roll Family, talent judge and holds a managerial position at Devgn Entertainment and Software. Ajay Devgan born Vishal Veeru Devgan on April 2, 1969, is an Indian film actor, director, and producer who has established himself as one of Hindi cinema or Bollywood‘s leading actors. Devgn has won numerous awards in his career, such as twice National Film Awards winner. Ajay is the son of director and action choreographer Veeru Devgan. Ajay Devgan started his acting career appearing in a film Pyari Behma as a child actor, began his professional career six years later in 1991 film Phool Aur Kaante and received a Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut for his performance. He has starred in more than 80 Hindi films, and has established himself as one of the Bollywood‘s leading actors. In addition, Devgan established in 2000 and owns a production company, Ajay Devgn Films. Ajay debuted in 2008, as a film director with U Me Aur Hum. Since 1999, Ajay Devgan has been married to Indian film actress, Kajol. They have two children, a daughter, Nysa, and a son, Yug. In August 2009, Devgan changed his surname to Devgn in August 2009, upon the request of his family. Devgn was the first Bollywood’s celebrity to acquire a six-seater private jet for transporting to shooting locations, promotions and personal trips.

20)  Prachi Desai

Prachi Desai is an Indian film and television actress, best known for her roles in the films such as Rock On!!, Once Upon a Time in Mumbai, Bol Bachchan and I, Me Aur Main, which she earned both critics’ and commercial appreciation. Prachi Desai, started her career at age 17, and left her studies and played the role as Bani Walia in the Kasamh Se Hindi soap opera and got her fame.
