Multiracial and mixed race describe a person whose ancestries coming from multiple races. While biracial term, commonly used to refer two different races of parents or grandparents, thus, the multiracial term may enclose biracial people but may include people with more than two races in their heritage, or may refer to the origin of more generation of individuals from two or more previously separated populations begin interbreeding or known as genetic admixtures, of more than one race in a DNA of a person. Multiracial may be used to refer to population or groups where a person with more than one race are counted as a whole group. It can also refer to a racially heterogeneous (different in kind) rather than a homogeneous (are all of the same kind) group or population. Interracial marriages is a union of couple with different race, for example, a white American man marrying an Asian woman, or black African woman or other ethnic races.The union of interracial marriages commonly resulting to children of mixed race or multiracial adding the race of ancestors of both couple’s sides.

Tina Turner met German music executive, while at a record label party in London, Erwin Bach, in 1985, her current partner. A Swiss publication reported on April 2013, that Turner and Bach are planning to get married. It was revealed on January 25, 2013 that Turner had applied for Swiss citizenship and would renounce her US citizenship. Turner undertook a mandatory citizenship test in April 2013 which included advanced knowledge of the German language and of Swiss history, and she passed without problems. Turner was issued a Swiss passport on April 22, 2013 and is now a citizen of Switzerland.

Sonja Sohn an American actress and community activist, best known for her role as Detective Kima Greggs on The Wire HBO drama series, and as Detective Samantha Baker on Body of Proof, the ABC drama series. Sohn also starred and co-writer of the Slam, an independent film. Sohn was born in Newport News, Virginia to an African-American soldier father, in the United States Army, and met her Korean mother when he was stationed in South Korea after the Korean War. After Sohn’s older brother was born, her mother decided to move to the United States as she felt that a child of mixed Korean and African-American parentage would be discriminated against in Korea.

Dominic Bando the 21 year-old suspect causing Momoa’s face injury, who lives in Venice Beach, California, was convicted of the crime and is serving a five-year sentence at California State Prison, Corcoran.

She is best known for her NBC sitcom The Cosby Show role as Denise Huxtable, and originally starred in A Different World spinoff. Bonet was born in San Francisco California to African-American father, Allen Bonet, an operatic singer who was born in Texas, and her Jewish mother, Arlene Litman, was a teacher. She has several younger half-siblings. On her 20th birthday, on November 16, 1987, she eloped with Lenny Kravitz, a singer in Las Vegas, Nevada, but their relationship did not last. On December 1, 1988, Bonet gave birth to daughter Zoe Isabella. Bonet legally changed her name to Lilakoi Moon in 1992, but still uses the name Lisa Bonet professionally. Jero
Jerome Charles White, Jr. better known by his stage name Jero an American Enka singer of African-American and Japanese descent, and was the first black enka singer in the history of Japanese music. Enka is a popular Japanese music genre considered similar to traditional Japanese music, developed in the postwar era, in a sentimental ballad music form. At the age of six, Jero began singing Enka actively because of Takiko, his grandmother’s influence, who had met his grandfather, an African-American serviceman, at a dance during World War II. Jero always wanted to keep his hip hop attire,since he started performing enka music, but his record company was a bit hesitant at first, because most of Enka singers wear a kimono in their performances, which Jero felt was not suitable for him. Jero was allowed to maintain the hip hop image, after his management company permitted him not to wear kimono and became successful as it is one of the many factors that contribute to his popularity.

Kelis was born and raised in Manhattan, New York City, the Harlem neighborhood. Her first name Kelis, is a combination of her father’s name, Kenneth (1944–2000) an African American jazz musician, and Pentecostal minister and her mother’s name, Eveliss is a Puerto Rican and Chinese fashion designer who inspired Kelis to pursue her singing career. She is the third born of the four girls. In 2002, Kelis met Nasir Jones at an MTV Video Music Awards party, and married in January 2005. Kelis firled for divorce in April 2009, citing “irreconcilable differences”, during that time, Kelis was seven months pregnant and gave birth to a son, Knight, on July 22, 2009.
