Famous people or celebrity who died in a strange and bizarre method of death. But sometimes death comes like a thief in the night. We cannot predict when will be the last day of our life. Some of this famous people stayed in power and and the thought of having power and wealth, they won’t meet the death. 1) Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi or Mahatma Ghandi
Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, or famously known as Mahatma Gandhi, was born on October 2, 1869 in Porbandar, Bombay. He was assassinated by Nathuram Godse, an activist on Januray 30, 1948. Godse was executed .
2) President John F. Kennedy, United States of America
John F. Kennedy born on May 29, 1917 was the 35th President of the United States of America, assassinated by Lee Harvey Oswald on November 22, 1963, at 12:30 p.m. in Dallas, Texas and pronounced dead at 1:00 pm. Lee Harvey Oswald was arrested after 80 minutes after the assassination of JFK, because of murdering a police, J.P.Tippit of Dallas, and later on charged for JFK murder.
3) Robert F. Kennedy (US Senator, bother of JFK)
On June 5, 1968, Robert Kennedy was shot while walking trough the kitchen of Ambassador Hotel and later died at the Good Samaritan Hospital. He was murdered by 24 year-old Palestinian Sirhan Sirhan and remained imprisoned for the crime committed as of 2010.
4) Pol Pot
Saloth Sar or most commonly know as Pol Pot, born on May 19, 1928, leader of Cambodian Communist Movement known as the Krimer Rouge and was the Prime Minister of Democratic Kampuchea from 1976 to 1979. His wife, Ta Mok found him dead on April 15, 1998 night and the cause of death is heart failure.
5) Che Guevara
Born Ernesto Guevara on June 14,1928, but commonly known as El Che or plain Che. He was an intellectual, a doctor, author, diplomat, military theorist was also an Argentine Marxist revolutionary of the Cuban Revolution. He was captured in Bolivia, and brought an abandoned old school in a village of Higuera held overnight and was executed the following morning by Segeant Mario Teran of the Bolivian army.
6) Benito Mussolini
Benito Amilcare Andrea Mussolini was born on July 23, 1883. He was one of the founder of the Italian Fascism. On the 28th of April 1945 Mussolini and his mistress and other primarily ministers and officials of the Italian Social Republic, were murdered in Giulino di Mezzegra Village.
7) Nicolae Ceausescu
Nicolae Ceausescu was born January 26,1918. On December 25, 1989, Nicolae Ceasesecu and his wife were executed to death by military court. They were charge of illegal gathering of wealth to systematic and widespread extermination of national, racial, religious and ethnic groups. In Targoviste, Romania were Ceasescu and wife was executed, his wife yelled at him hours before their execution because she was annoyed when Caesescu sang part of “the International”, and said that history will judge them.
Mao Tse Tung
Mao Zedong or popularly know as Mao Tse Tung, was a famous military Chinese political leader who leads the Communist party of China (CPC) to a victory against the Koumintang (KMT) in the Chinese Civil War and also the leader of the (PRC) or People’s Republic of China. The establishment of the organization began from 1949 until he died on September 9, 1976. He was very ill when his wife Quiang Guing, put powder on Mao’s body, which the doctor’s prohibits because it will affect Mao’s lungs. And she told the doctors to turn him on his left side, but doctors said Mao Tse Tung had the hard time to breath, but the wife insisted. And Mao had the difficulty of breathing. Mao Tse Tung died.
9) Saddam Hussein, Iraq
On December 30, 2006, Saddam Hussein was executed by hanging on the first day of “Eid ul-Adha”. Before he was hang he was seen taunted. At Camp Justice (an Iraqi Army base in Kadhimiya, next to the northeast Baghdad. the execution was carried out.
10) Benigno S. Aquino, Jr, Philippine Senator
The brave Senator who fought for democracy against Ferdinand Marcos, President for 22 years of dictatorship. He risk his life though he know there was threat of assassination, he still went back to the Philippines after his exile in the United States of America. He died loving his mother country, the Republic of the Philippines. He was shot at point blank upon descending the China Airlines stair, on August 21, 1983. His wife Corazon Aquino became the next President after Marcos was thrown to exile in Hawaii, in 1983.
11) Ferdinand Edralin Marcos
Ferdinand Edralin Marcos, became the first President of the Independent Republic to be re-elected on December 30, 1965 and imposed the Martial Law on September 11, 1972 and have been in power for 22 years. When Benigno S. Aquino Jr, was assassinated in 1983, that was Marcos final chapter of his regime, until Marcos, his families and croonies were forced to flee the Philippines.
12) Rev. Dr Martin Luther King
Rev. Martin Luther King, was killed at the Lorraine Motel in Memphis, Tennessee, on April 4,1968 at the age of 39. James Earl Ray was arrested on June 10, 1968, a fugitive from a Missouri prison, was arrested at Heathrow airport in London and was extradited in the United States. He was charged of murder and was sentenced to 99 years imprisonment. Ray died in prison on April 23, 1998, at age 70. Every 3rd Monday of January of each year, Martin Luther King’s birthday is celebrated, which is January 15.
13) Abraham Lincoln
US President Abraham Lincoln was assassinated on April 15, 1865 at 7:22 a.m. His body lies in state at the East Room of the White House. His assassin an American stage actor named John Wilkes Booth.
14) Benazir Bhutto, Prime Minister of Pakistan
Benazir Bhutto was born on June 21,1953; twice elect Prime Minister of Pakistan and the eldest child of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, former Prime Minister of Pakistan and Nusrat Bhutto. She was killed on December 27,2007 after a campaign rally while waiving to her supporters and was shot by a gunman and detonated explosives killing 20 people and wounding others.
15) Jesse James
Jesse James, famous member of the James-Younger Gang in the state of Missouri, an American outlaw. Robert Ford, one of the gang member murdered Jesse James hoping to collect the reward money on Jesse Jame’s head, on April 3,1882. After eating breakfast with the Ford brothers, Robert “Bob” and Charley, preparing for another robbery, James noticed a dusty picture hanging on the wall, stood and cleaned the picture. Bob Ford took advantage and shot James at the back of his head.
16) John Herbert Dillinger
John Herbert Dillinger, born on June 22, 1903 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was the most notorious criminal, gangster, murderer and ban robber in America. On July 22, 1934, a woman tipped off the whereabouts of John Dilliger and he was shot three times by the federal agents led by Melvin Purvis, when Dillinger shot back at them.
17) Gregori Rasputin
Gregori Rasputin was born on January 22,1869 (but some claimed he was born January 10, 1873), in Tyumen Oblast present), Siberia. He was known as the “Russian mystic”, some called him “Mad Monk”, “strannik (religious pilgrim)”, or “starets (an elder Russian Orthodox)”, because they believed that he have prophetic power to heal. He was accused of influencing the Russian Tsar Nicholas ll and his family, and helped discredit the Tsarist government and caused the fall of the Romanov Dynasty, in 1917. What is known is that there was an attempt in his life three times, he was poisoned, then shot (both attempt was unsuccessful) and lastly he died of drowning according to autopsy. But he had a gunshot wound in his forehead when his body was retrieved.
18) Bonnie and Clyde
Clyde Chestnut Barrow was born in Eliis County, Texas near Telico on March 24, 1909; and Bonnie Elizabeth Parker was born in Rowena, Texas on on October 1, 1910. Bonnie and Clyde met in a friends house in Dallas, Texas in 1930 and both fell in love at first sight. And began as partners-in-crime since then. They became notorious criminals and was named ” public enemy number one.”
19) Charles Arthur “Pretty Boy” Floyd
Charles Arthur Floyd, famously called “Pretty Boy” Floyd, was born on February 3, 1904, in Adairsville, Georgia. Chester Smith, retired Police Captain of East Liverpool said he shot Pretty Boy wounding him but not killed him. Then, Federal Agent Melvin Purvis, approached the wounded Pretty Boy, asked him some questions, and asked his agent, Herman Hollis to shoot him at pointblank. Pretty Boy was killed on October 22, 1934 at the age of 30, at East Liverpool, Ohio.
20) John Lennon (Beatlles)
John Lennon was shot by Mark David Chapman on the night of December 8, 1980 outside his The Dakota apartment, located at 72nd Street across Central Park. Some New Yorkers claimed the John Lennon’s apartment was haunted and had various ghostly sightings even before John Lennon and Yoko Ono occupied the apartment, until John Lennon’s death.
