A chronic condition is a disease that is persistent or a health condition that has effects of long-lasting disease with cures or non-curable condition. The chronic term is commonly applied when the disease lasts for more or less than three months. Most common chronic diseases affecting human were, arthritis, asthma, cancer, diabetes, COPD and HIV/AIDS. The term acute is the opposite term for chronic. A chronic course is characterized as appearance from a recurrent course, a recurrent diseases that repeatedly relapse with periods of remission in between, or the state of absence of activity of a disease in patients known to have a chronic or acute illness that cannot be cured, but is commonly used to refer to absence of active cancer or inflammatory bowel disease when these repetead diseases are expected to manifest again). In 2002, reported chronic illnesses cause deaths in the US, about 70% and in 2002 chronic conditions such as heart disease, cancers,diabetes, stroke, chronic respiratory diseases, Alzheimer’s disease, mental illness and kidney diseases, were 6 of the top ten in the US population that causes mortality.

Lupus nephritis is a kidney inflammation caused by systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), an immune system disease. To treat lupus, doctors use a variety of medicines such as corticosteroids, monoclonal antibodies and aspirin, and keep the symptoms under control.

Psoriasis is a common, chronic, relapsing and remitting, autoimmune skin disease, characterized by itchy red, scaly patches, papules and plaques. The skin disease can range from mild skin rashes to serious skin disorder that can be longer for few weeks or even months, but also subsides for a period of time, when taken cared of immediately. Various treatment can help control the psoriasis symptoms, but no cure is found for psoriasis. According to some experts or skin specialists, believed that psoriasis developed from stress, certain medications, drinking alcohol or smoking and can trigger an outbreak, but this skin disorder is treatable.

In 1998, Fox had a thalamotomy, an invasive procedure, effective for involuntary shaking such as the case with Parkinson’s disease (PD), where a selected thalamus portion is surgically removed. She underwent a surgery while taping her Braxton Family Values reality series. On December 2012, she was admitted in a Los Angeles’ hospital due to minor health issues related to her disease, lupus. Systemic lupus erythematosus often abbreviated as SLE or lupus, is a systemic autoimmune disease or autoimmune connective tissue disease in which the immune system of our body mistakenly attacks normal and healthy tissue of the body. Lupus or SLE, can affect the skin, joints, kidneys, brain, and other organs, and can result in symptoms, such as inflammation and swelling. When the immune system is function normally, it makes proteins called antibodies that protect and fight against antigens, like viruses and bacteria. Lupus causes the immune system to be unable to differentiate antigens and healthy tissue. Chronic means that the signs and symptoms intend to last longer for more than six weeks and often for many years.

The Synovitis is commonly a painful condition, specially when the joint is moved. The affected joint swells due to synovial fluid collection. Synovitis can occur related with arthritis, lupus and gout, and other conditions and people with synovitis has difficulty to move or walk without assistance. Lady Gaga stated on the Larry King show, that lupus is in her family and it is genetic. She also stated that there is no sign or symptoms of lupus yet, however, she was tested borderline positive for the lupus disease.

Jack Osbourne became a drug addict after suffering from depression and after learning that his mother Sharon Osbourne was diagnosed with colon cancer. He attempted suicide by taking a prescription drugs and cutting his hands with shards of glass, after self-destructive behavior came to his head when he heard his girlfriend was picked up her phone from a call by her ex-boyfriend when he called her. Jack Osbourne woke up 12 hours later, but still continued using drugs until he realized that he “never wants to feel this way ever again” and confined himself into a psychiatric ward, and spent ten days detoxing and was later moved to Malibu in an adolescent rehabilitation center, where he enrolled in a recovery program. On October 7, 2012, Jack Osbourne married Lisa Stelly in Hawaii. On April 24, 2012, Jack Osbourne’s first daughter was born, named Pearl Clementine. Osbourne and his wife announced in August 2013, that they were expecting their second child, however, on September 6, 2013, Osbourne’s wife Lisa revealed she suffered a miscarriage in her second trimester; they had been expecting a son. Jack Osbourne announced in June 2012, that he had been diagnosed with relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis. Osbourne stated that he experienced symptoms for years including blindness in one eye, numbness in both legs, and problems with his bladder, bowel, and stomach. Osbourne injects daily with Copaxone medication, uses vitamin supplements and hormone replacement therapy, and underwent stem cell therapy in Europe. Osbourne has changed his lifestyle, such as minimizing stress, exercising regularly, and altering his diet. But he revealed that his doctors urged him to stop joining highly intensive physical workouts and revealed of his fear of a rapid decline during his appearance in October 2013, on Dancing with the Stars.Osbourne stated that he felt the odd tingling down his legs a bit, and occasional bout of fatigue, but he did not suffer from any severe symptoms.

Michaele tried to lower the risk of the complications by not eating a lot. Michaele was scheduled to appear on VH1’s show Celebrity Rehab, in 2011 seeking help in managing her Multiple Sclerosis and related stress, but the producers turned her away because she did not have any addiction or substance abuse problem.

Her mom Mandy, gave birth to her at the age of 16, and her grandparents often took care of Selena while her parents are still attending school. Clark has a disease called sickle cell trait, and the reason why he could not play in cities with high altitudes like in Denver, Colorado. Sickle cell trait (or sicklemia) a blood disorder, which characterize a condition in which a person has one abnormal allele of the hemoglobin beta gene (is heterozygous), however, does not display the severe symptoms of the sickle cell disease occurring in a person who has two copies of that allele (is homozygous). Clark developed extreme pain in his left side and had to be rushed to the hospital while playing games against Denver Broncos at Invesco Field at Mile High in 2007, and doctors found out Clark was suffering from splenic infarction (a condition in which oxygen supply to the spleen is interrupted) due to the sickle cell trait, from which he has suffered since his childhood, these are commonly risky at high altitudes. Clark underwent a splenectomy surgery for the removal of his spleen and his gall bladder, and after the removal, Clark lost 30 pounds, but returned in 2008 to the Steelers.The Steelers took the precautionary measure of removing him for the four games played in Denver during his playing career with the team though he was cleared medically to play in Denver, in 2009 Monday Night Game, a preseason game in 2010, a playoff game in 2011 and season opener in 2012. Clark has been involved with sickle cell disease awareness, research, treatment and programming in Pittsburgh after recovering from the disease in 2007.
