Some of us may be enduring some diseases or defects, just like me, I seldom visit my doctor due to fear of knowing that I am sick or I may have syndrome or diseases that needs miracle to cure me. However, it is better to see our doctor frequently and know the diagnosis earlier to find proper treatment and cure. We have a lot of celebrities who are brave enough to face their diagnosed diseases. Angelina Jolie is one example of a brave celebrity, who recently underwent a double mastectomy to prevent breast cancer and soon will undergo a total hysterectomy to prevent uterus or cervical cancer which is a common cancer among women. Here are some lists of celebrity with strange diseases.

1)    Anastacia

Anastacia born Anastacia Lyn Newkirk, an American singer-songwriter, received professional critics by Michael Jackson and Elton John, and in 2000, her singles became a big hit in Europe and Australia. From her young age of 13, she was diagnosed and had struggle health problems that includes, Crohn’s disease, at the age of 34, she was diagnosed with breast cancer, and at age 39, she discovered she had a a rapid heart rhythm originating at or above the atrioventicular node  known as supraventicular tachycardia heart condition. Anastacia revealed in February 2013, that she was again struggling from breast cancer, and this time it is more serious. Crohn’s disease is a type of disease of inflammatory bowel movement that could affect any gastrointestinal tract part from mouth to anus, and causes different kinds of symptoms, primarily diarrhea (sometimes with blood if inflammation is worse),continuous vomiting , weight loss, and abdominal pain, but in most cases, it may also cause arthritis, skin rashes, inflammation of the eye, lack of concentration and tiredness, as other symptoms of complications outside the gastrointestinal tract.

2)  Carrie Grant

Carrie Grant born Caroline Vanessa Gray, known British vocal coach, session singer and TV presenter,working for TV talent contests such as Fame Academy, Pop Idol and Comic Relief Does Fame Academy, with her husband David Grant, also a celebrity vocal coach and English pop singer. Carrie and David Grant  have three daughters together, Olivia (actress), Talia and Imogen. Since age 18, Carrie Grant has suffered from Crohn’s disease, and praised by Sense About Science education charity, for her efforts in raising the Chrohn’s disease profile without making any scientifically silent claims about available therapies.

3)  Yoon Jong-shin

Yoon Jong-shin is a South Koren singer and songwriter. Jong-shin made his movie debut in a cameo role in “Can Hardly Stop Them” along with the director Kim in 2000. In February 2012, He also appeared on SBS Healing Camp, Aren’t You Happy in February 2012, and revealed that he was suffering from incurable Crohn’s disease. In April 2012, Jong-shin became the co-host of Go Show by SBS, co-host of Hwasin-Controller of the Heart also by SBS in February 2013, and became regular host of SBS reality show the Barefooted Friends in April 2013.

4) Oprah Winfrey

Oprah Gail Winfrey an American talk show host, media proprietor, actress, producer and philanthropist. Winfrey has been ranked as the richest African-American, the greatest black philanthropist in American history, and named world’s black billionaire for a time. Oprah Winfrey, the talk show host diva, revealed that since 2007 she has thyroid problems. Winfrey was diagnosed with hypothyroidism, as she was struggling with weight gain and felt exhausted all the time.

5)  Rod Stewart

Roderick David “Rod” Stewart, a British singer-songwriter having sold over 100 million records in the world, and was named one of the best selling artists of all time. With his famous husky singing voice, he came to prominence with The Jeff Beck Group and Faces in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Rod Stewart was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in May 2000, and underwent treatment and surgery in the same month, and was reported previously he was suffering from a benign vocal cord nodule. The result of Thyroidectomy surgery became his major health scare, which threatened his famous voice, and he had to re-learn how to sing. Stewart was the guest artist and celebrity vocal coach on American Idol on April 18 to 19, 2006, leading the remaining seven finalists in singing entries from the Great American Songbook.

6)  Former US President George H.W. Bush and wife Barbara Bush

George Herbert Walker Bush was the former 41st U.S. President between 1989 and 1993, and wife Barbara Pierce Bush, served as the U.S. First Lady from 1989 to 1993. George and Babara Bush is the parents of the 43rd President George W. Bush, and Jeb Bush, the 43rd Governor of Florida. On November 23, 2012, George H.W. Bush had a bronchitis-like cough, and was treated at the Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas, but was confined over the Christmas holiday because he got worse with a high fever, and was at the Intensive-care unit (ICU) since December 23. Bush became better on December 29, 2012 and moved out of intensive care. However, Bush still has health problems as of January 19, 2013. Bush was diagnosed from a form of Parkinson’s disease was forced to use a motorized scooter or wheelchair to get around.  Barbara Bush was rushed to the hospital in November 25, 2008, for abdominal pains, and found a dime-sized hole in her small intestine, that was caused by an ulcer, which was closed by surgeons. On December 2, 2008, Barbara Bush was doing well and was released. On March 4, 2009, Barbara Bush underwent aortic valve replacement surgery, and she was released on March 13, 2009, from the hospital. In 1991, George H.W. Bush, developed new atrial fibrillation and was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism also called Grave’s disease, due to the disease and treated with radioactive iodine. About that same year, his wife Barbara, also developed the same disease, which in her case produced severe infiltrative exophthalmos.  Graves’ disease is an autoimmune disease, which commonly affects the thyroid, frequently causing it to enlarge goiter to twice its size or more, become overactive, with hyperthyroid symptoms related such as increased heartbeat, weakness of muscle, sleeping disorder, and being irritable.In most Grave’s disease, it affect the eyes, causing exophthalmos or  bulging eyes. It also affects other systems of the body, such as the skin, heart, circulation and nervous system.

7)  Sia Furler

Sia Kate Isobelle Furler better known as Sia, is an Australian down-tempo, pop, and jazz singer and songwriter. She was best known for her  “Taken for Granted” single that was a top 10 hit in the United Kingdom in 2000. Sia Furler has also collaborated and performed with Zero 7, with Christina Aguilera, David Guetta, Flo Rida, Hilltop Hoods, Afrojack, Shakira and Rihanna. Furler revealed her bisexuality in 2008, in an interviews with Scotland on Sunday and AfterEllen.com. Sia was included on a gay entertainers lists in the June to July 2009 The Advocate issue. Sia Furler’s official website announced in June 2010,  that all scheduled promotional shows and events and show had been cancelled due to her poor health. She cited extreme state of being drowsy, exhaustion and panic attacks and was considering from retiring permanently from tours and performing. According to her Twitter account she was diagnosed with Grave’s disease, an autoimmune disorder with an over-active thyroid. Four months later, Sia Furler said her health was improving after rest and thyroid hormone replacement therapy, she stated in an interview in ARIA Awards.

8)  Nia Vardalos

Antonia Eugenia “Nia” Vardalos a Greek-Canadian actress, screenwriter, director, singer and producer. Her most notable work is the ”My Big Fat Greek Wedding” film a 2002 Academy Award nomination. In 1999, Nia Vardalos became a U.S. citizen. Nia is married to Ian Gomez, 48, actor best known for his comedic TV work, the most notable of which are his series-regular stints as Javier on “Felicity” and as Andy on “Cougar Town”. Nia was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s thyroiditis or chronic lymphocytic thyroiditis, is an autoimmune disease in which the thyroid gland is attacked by a variety of cell and antibody-mediated immune processes. Hashimoto’s thyroiditis was the first disease to be recognized as an autoimmune disease, and believed to be the most common cause of primary hypothyroidism in North America, as a cause of non-endemic goiter, it is among the most common disease of due to lack of iodine.

9)   Nastassja Kinski

Nastassja Kinski Born in Berlin as Nastassja Aglaia Nakszynski, a German actress, who appeared in more than 60 movies in Europe and United States, daughter of the German actor Klaus Kinski (died November 23, 1991 of a heart attack in Lagunitas, California at age 65) from his marriage to actress Ruth Brigitte Tocki, and divorced in 1968. Nastassja has half-sister, Pola and Nikolai Kinski. Nastassja denied in an interview in 1999, that her father had sexually molested her, but confirmed he molested her “in other ways.” However in an interview in 2013, about the allegations of sexual abuse made by her half sister, Pola Kinski, which she stated that her father molested and abused her from the age of 5 until age 19 , and Nastassja also confirmed that her father “tried with her”, but unlike with her sister, he did not actually succeeded with her. Kinski began a romantic relationship with 43 year old Roman Polanski  at the age of 15 years old in 1976, according to some sources. In the mid-1980s Kinski met Ibrahim Moussa, an Egyptian filmmaker, married on September 10, 1984, and they have two children together; a son Aljosha (born 1984), and daughter, now model, Sonja Kinski (born 1986). In 1992, their marriage was dissolved. From 1992 until 1995 Kinski lived with musician Quincy Jones, from 1992 to 1885, and in 1993 they had a daughter, Kenya Julia Miambi Sarah Jones. Kinski has revealed publicly un 2001, of being a narcoleptic in The Daily Telegraph interview. Narcolepsy is a neurological sleep disorder, is not caused by mental illness or psychological problems. Narcolepsy is a chronic neurological disorder caused by the brain’s inability to regulate sleep-wake cycles normally. A person with narcolepsy often experience disturbed night sleep and an abnormal daytime sleep pattern, which often is confused with insomnia. A person suffering from Narcolepsy, when falling asleep, generally experience the Rapid eye movement sleep (REM) stage of sleep within 5 minutes, while most people do not experience REM sleep until an hour or so later.

10)   Jimmy Kimmel

James Christian “Jimmy” Kimmel, 45, is an American comedian, actor, voice artist,writer, television producer, rapper and television host.  Kimmel is the creator and host of a late night talk show, Jimmy Kimmoiceel Live! airing on ABC. He could also play bass clarinet. In June 1988, Kimmel married Gina, and together have two children, Katie (born 1991) and Kevin (born 1993). In early 2002, their marriage ended in separation. Kimmel had a relationship for seven years with comedian Sarah Silverman, splitting with her in March 2009. In October 2009, Kimmel  started dating “Jimmy Kimmel Live” co-head writer, Molly McNearney, and became engaged in August 2012. Kimmel revealed that he is a narcoleptic. 

11)  Jennifer Aniston

Jennifer Joanna Aniston, 44, American actress, film director, and producer. Between 1990 and 1994, Aniston had relationships with actor Daniel McDonald and Adam Duritz, musician, between 1990 and 1994. Followed by a relationship with actor Tate Donovan in November 1995, engaged in 1996, but split in April 1998, the following month, in May 1998, Aniston began dating actor Brad Pitt, and married on July 29, 2000, in Malibu in a private wedding ceremony. On March 25, 2005, Jennifer Aniston, filed for divorce which was finalized on October 2, 2005.  Aniston began a relationship with actor Vince Vaughn, after her divorce with Pitt, who became her co-star in The Break-Up, but split up in December 2006. In February 2008, She began dating singer John Mayer, in February 2008, but broke up in August, but they reconciled in October before splitting again in March 2009. Aniston began a relationship with Justin Theroux in May 2011. Aniston and Theroux purchased a $22 million home in a Bel-Air area in Los Angeles in January 2012. Aniston and Theroux announced their engagement on August 12, 2012. Aniston revealed that she has had two Septoplasty, (0ne in 1994 and the other in January 2007) a corrective surgical procedure done to straighten the nasal septum, the division between the two nasal cavities to correct her Nasal septum deviation or deviated septum, a common physical disorder of the nose, that involves nasal septum displacement. In most cases it is caused by impact trauma, may be a blow in the face, or it can  be a congenital disorder caused by compression of the nose during childbirth. The deviated septum symptoms include sinus’ infections, snoring, sleep apnea, facial pain, nosebleed, difficulty in breathing and repetitive sneezing, and the loss of ability to smell. Jennifer Aniston is also rumored to have incidents of sleepwalking, otherwise known as somnambulism or “nighttime wandering.” According to Neurology research published in the journal, about one in three adults has at least one episode of nighttime wandering during a lifetime. A person who are frequent night wanderers, may be twice a month, have commonly related health conditions, such as sleep apnea, depression, or alcohol abuse or it can also caused by side effects of medications, such as pain reliever, sleeping pills or anti depression pills.

12)  Brooke Shields

Brooke Shields , age 48, an American actress, model and former child model and child star in 1996, when she was 11 months old, for Ivory Soap commercial. In 1980, Brooke Shields was best known for her role in The Blue Lagoon. Shields has been married twice, and her first marriage was to Andre Agassi, a professional tennis player from April 19, 1997 to April 9, 1999. Her second marriage was to television writer Chris Henchy on April 4, 2001, and has two daughters. Between April and May 2005, Shields appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show revealing her struggle with postpartum depression, a depression with suicidal tendency, an inability to respond to her baby’s needs and lack of mother and child bonding. Her postpartum depression, may have been triggered by a traumatic childbirth, followed by the death of her father three weeks earlier before she gave birth, stress from in vitro fertilization, a miscarriage and a depression of her family history, as well as the hormonal imbalance and life changes brought on by childbirth. Shields has talked about her postpartum depression experiences, after the birth of her daughter in 2003, which she have published in her book, Down Came the Rain. Postpartum depression in new mothers or experienced traumatic childbirth, includes prolonged feelings of anxiety, worthlessness and restlessness. Brooke Shields sought treatment early on and learned to manage her disorder with professional help and medications because of her severe depression.

13)  Andre Agassi

Andre Kirk Agassi an American retired and former World number one professional tennis player and former most dominant players from the early 1990s to the mid-2000s. Agassi was married to Brooke Shields from 1997 to 1999. He married fellow tennis player, Steffi Graf on October 22, 2001, four days later, their son, Jaden Gil, was born. Their daughter, Jaz Elle, was born in October 2003. Agassi retired from professional tennis on September 3, 2006, after he lost in the 3rd round of the US Open, and was diagnosed of sciatica caused by two bulging discs in his back, a spondylolisthesis (a displacement of the vertebral) and a bone spur or osteophyte (a bony growth formed on normal bone and grow painfully) that interfered with the nerve. Sciatica or sciatic neuritis, sciatic neuralgia, or lumbar radiculopathy is a set of symptoms including pain that sometimes caused bycompression or irritation of one of five spinal nerve roots that give rise to each sciatic nerve or by compression or irritation of the left or right or both sciatic nerves, and known commonly as form of low back and leg pain. Severe lower back pain, buttock pain, pins and needles or tingling and difficulty in moving or controlling the leg, numbness or weakness in various parts of the leg and foot are known symptoms of sciatica. Sometimes pain may radiate below the knee, but very seldom, usually, the symptoms are only felt on one side of the body.

14)  Sinéad O’Connor

Sinéad Marie Bernadette O’Connor an Irish singer and songwriter, noted for her debut album The Lion and the Cobra in the late 1980′s, achieved success in 1990 with Nothing Compare 2 U, a cover of Prince’s song.  O’ Connor claims she and siblings are subjected to frequent physical abuse in 1979, with their mother after her parents divorced.  O’Connor left her mother and went to live with her father and his new wife. Sinead O’Connor, was involved in shoplifting and being absent without permission from school at the age of 15, and led her being placed in Magdalene Asylum. O’Connor was devastated when her mother was killed in a car accident on February 10, 1985, despite their not spontaneous relationship. O’Connor has been married four times. O’Connor revealed on October 4, 2007, in The Oprah Winfrey Show, that she had been diagnosed with bipolar disorder four years earlier, and had suicide attempt on December 8, 1999 on her 33rd birthday. Sinead O’Connor was ordained as priest by bishop Michael Patrick O’Connor Cox in the Irish Orthodox Catholic and Apostolic Church, an indpendent Catholic denomination in Ireland. The Roman Catholic Church considers the ordination as invalid, because ordination of women is impossible and not acceptable, and a person attempting the sacrament of ordination upon a woman to come into excommunication. 

Winona Ryder

Winona Ryder born Winona Laura Horowitz, an American actress, which her personal life has attracted media and public attention. Her relationship with Johnny Depp for three years, from July 1990 and ended in mid 1993. On December 12, 2001 was arrested for shoplifting charges, accused of stealing designer clothes and accessories worth of $5,500 at Saks Fifth Avenue Department Store on Beverly Hills, California, and she was a controversial subject of tabloids and gossip magazines. Ryder was accused during her trial of using drugs (oxycodone, diazepam and Vicodin without prescriptions). Ryder was convicted of shoplifting, grand theft and vandalism, but was acquitted on burglary felony charge. Ryder was sentenced to 3 years probation, community service 480 hours, fines of $3,700 and restitution to Saks Fifth Avenue department store of $6,355 and ordered to attend drug counseling and psychological sessions. Superior Court Judge Elden Fox, the felonies were reduced to misdemeanors on June 18, 2004, after reviewing her probation reports serving the 480 hours community. Ryder revealed that she has personal struggles with depression and anxiety. 

15)  Margot Kidder

Margaret Ruth “Margot” Kidder, age 64, the Canadian-American actress best known for her role as Daily Planet reporter, Lois Lane, in four Superman films with co-star Christopher Reeves, as Superman and Clark Kent in 1978. Kidder dated former Canadian prime minister Pierre Trudeau, Director Brain de Palma, and Richard Pryor, comedian-actor. Kidder has been married and divorced three times, first to Thomas McGuane an American novelist with whom she had her only child born on October 28, 1976, Maggie, second marriage was to actor John Heard, and Philippe de Broca, and these marriages did not last longer than a year. Kidder claimed she prefers a dog for companionship after her divorce from De Broca. Kidder has two grandchildren, Mazie and Charlie Kirn, from her daughter, Maggie and husband novelist Walter Kirn. In 1990, Margot Kidder was involved in a car crash, which she was unable to work for two years after the accident, causing her financial problems. Kidder has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and paranoia and became a publicized controversy in 1996, about Kidder’s manic episode. Kidder disappeared for four days, wandering on a street, and was later found in a back yard by a homeowner and was taken to Olive View Medical Center by Los Angeles police, in a state of distress, the caps on her teeth having fallen out, and was placed in a psychiatric care. Kidder claimed in 2007, that in 11 years, after her treatment, she had not had a manic episode, and gave her thanks to Natural Medicine of Abram Hoffer.

16)  Ashley Hamilton

Ashley George Hamilton, age 38, an American singer-songwriter and actor, son of actors George Hamilton and Alana Stewart, and a stepson of musician Rod Stewart. Hamilton gained media attention when he married Charmed actress Shannen Doherty (who was also diagnosed of Crohn’s disease) after knowing one another for only two weeks, he was 19 at that time. The marriage lasted only five months before Doherty filed for divorce. In 1993, Hamilton appeared with Shannen Doherty in Beethoven’s 2nd and Saturday Night Live. In 2000, Hamilton was also engaged briefly to actress Sara Foster. Hamilton revealed that he has suffered eating disorder known as bulimia and anorexia for years. Ashley has also struggle from drug addiction and alcoholism for years, which later he discovered was a substance from which another substance, is usually more active or mature, substance is formed and reason for his drug and alcohol addiction. Ashley says it is still a struggle while under treatment and recovering from his addictions.

17)  Angie Everhart

Angela Kay “Angie” Everhart, a former model and American actress, who has appeared in 1990s Sports Illustrated swimsuit issues and on 2000, posing nude for Playboy magazine, and known for being a redhead. In December 1, 1996, Everhart was married to Ashley Hamilton until their divorce in March 1997. She was engaged to American actor, comedian and musician Joe Pesci known for his collaborations with Robert De Niro. Joe Pesci later co-starred in the 1990′s blockbuster Home Alone, portrayed the role of Harry Lyme, one of two bumbling burglars along with good friend Daniel Stern, (as bandit Marv Merchants) who attempt to burglarize the house of the young character Kevin McCallister portrayed by Macaulay Culkin, but Pesci and Everhart broke up in 2008. On July 24, 2009, Everhart gave birth to her first child, son Kayden Bobby Everhart, and raised his son as single parent. Everhart gave up sky diving activity following an accident in which she was seriously injured and was required back surgery. Everhart was diagnosed with thyroid cancer and underwent a surgery in May 14, 2013. Everhart representative announced and confirmed that she has been diagnosed with thyroid cancer, however, the probable course and outcome of a disease, especially of the chances of recovery is very good.

18) Daniel Johns

Daniel Paul Johns age 34, an Australian musician, singer, and songwriter, best known as the former front man of the Silverchair rock band, and is also one half of The Dissociatives with Paul Mac. In late 2002, Johns announced his engagement to long-time girlfriend, Natalie Imbruglia, actress, singer and model, and they married on 2003 New Year’s Eve. Johns and Imbruglia announced on January 4, 2008, they were divorcing. In July 2008, The Daily Telegraph announced Johns was dating Australian model, Louise Va..n der Vorst in July 2008, according to The Daily Telegraph, and were living together on Newcastle, Australia on July 2011, and was reported in April 2012, that Johns initiated their split in February 2012. Johns experienced depression during the tour of the Freak Show in 1997, and rumors spread that he was suffering from a drug addiction and eating disorder, which Johns confirmed in an interview for Rolling Stone Australia, that he had developed anorexia nervosa, claimed that he weighed less than 50 kilos, or 110 pounds at his thinnest. Johns revealed to ABC interviewer Andrew Denton, in 2004 that at one point of his life, he had considered death. After recording Diorama, Johns was diagnosed with reactive arthritis, a rare but serious case and had a treatment in Los Angeles, and was able to go for Across the Night Tour with the band. According to  reports of Johns’ arthritic symptoms, it did not resurface until the completion of the tour.

19)  Michael Douglas

Famous American actor and producer Michael Kirk Douglas the eldest child of actor Kirk Douglas and Diana Love Dill, a Bermudian born actress. Michael Douglas began dating actress Brenda Vacarro, after working in 1971 Summertree film, and their 6 years relation ended. Michael Douglas who was 32 years old that time, married 19 year old Diandra Luker, the daughter of an Austrian diplomat in March 1977, They had one son, who was born in 1978 and named Cameron. Diandra Luker filed for divorce in 1995 and was awarded $45 million as her settlement. On November 18, 2000Douglas married Catherine Zeta-Jones, Welsh actress. They were both born on September 25, although a difference of age gap of 25 years apart. They have two children, Dylan Michael (born August 8, 2000) and Carys Zeta (born April 20, 2003). Michael Douglas was diagnosed with throat cancer, but many doctors believed he was actually diagnosed with oropharyngeal cancer, a disease which the cancer has malignant cells form in the oropharynx tissue. Oropharynx is a middle part of the throat which includes the base of the tongue, the tonsils, the soft palate, and the pharynx walls.  The couple planned on their 10th anniversary to renew their vows, after Douglas was found to have advanced stages of cancer. Michael Douglas was suffering from throat cancer stage IV, the most advanced stages of cancer, since August 16, 2010, which he claimed attributed from stress, heavy smoking and previous alcohol abuse and underwent radiation and chemotherapy treatment. Douglas claimed in an interview, on January 11, 2011, that the tumor was gone, and lost 32 lbs. Douglas have to go for his monthly screenings and check up, because there is a high risk, for the cancer to return within two or three years.  Michael Douglas stated in June 2013, that his cancer attributed to Human papillomavirus (HPV), a cunnilingus transmitted in oral sex act performed on a female, involving the use of sex partner of the mouth, lips and tongue.

Catherine Zeta-Jones

Welsh actress Catherine Zeta-Jones wife of famous actor Michael Douglas, both was introduced by actor Danny DeVito, came to prominence with roles in Hollywood movies and the 1998 The Mask of Zorro, 2000 film Traffic as her breakthrough. Douglas and Zeta-Jones took legal action against stalker Dawnette Knight, in 2004, who was accused of sending violent letters to the couple that contained graphic threats on Zeta-Jones’ life, as Knight claimed she is in love with Douglas. Zeta-Jones said the death threats left her so shaken and feared a nervous breakdown developed. Knight admitted to the offenses, was sentenced to three years in prison. Zeta-Jones sought treatment in April 2011 for bipolar II disorder, into New Canaan, Connecticut Silver Hill Hospital. In April 2013, Zeta-Jones deal with an expected difficulty checked into a health care facility again for further treatment related to her bipolar disorder. Zeta Jones and husband Douglas was trying to quit smoking by using electronic cigarettes, both battled to give up smoking while he was undergoing treatment for his throat cancer stage IV in August 2011.

20)  Paz de la Huerta

María de la Paz Elizabeth Sofía Adriana de la Huerta better known by her stage name Paz de la Huerta, an American actress and model. De la Huerta began acting and modeling, in 1999 The Cider House Rules,  and 2002 A Walk to Remember and 2008 Choke. In her twenties, De la Huerta lived with her mother and sister in New York City, and later moved into an apartment in the Tribeca neighborhood, then move again to a lower Manhattan apartment adjacent to her mother home. De la Huerta was rumored to have relationship with actor Jack Nicholson, Scott Weiland of the Stone Temple Pilots and The Virgins frontman, Donald Cumming. De la Huerta was born with repeated cystic hygroma under her arm, which has been treated with multiple surgeries. A cystic hygroma also known as cystic lymphangioma and macrocystic lymphatic malformation, is a congenital multiloculated lymphatic lesion that can grow anywhere, but is classically found in the left posterior triangle of the neck. Cystic Hygroma is the most common form of lymphangioma, contains large cyst-like cavities containing watery fluid. Cystic hygromas are commonly benign, but can cause disfigured parts of infected area, a condition which affects children, and very rare in adulthood.

21)  Johnny Depp

American actor, film producer, and musician John Christopher “Johnny” Depp II. he played the title character of the acclaimed 1990′s Edward Scissorhands, 1999 Sleepy Hollow a box office hit, 2005 Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, 2010′s Alice in Wonderland, 2011′s Rango and 2003 up to present, Pirates of the Caribbean film series, and 2012 Dark Shadows in collaboration with director Tim Burton. Depp was married to Lori Anne Allison from 1983 to 1985. In the late 1980s, he was engaged to actresses Jennifer Grey and Sherilyn Fenn and co-star Winon Ryder, followed by his 4 years relationship with British supermodel Kate Moss in 1998. Depp began a relationship with French actress Vanessa Paradis, and together has two children, daughter Lily Rose Melody Depp, born in 1999 and son John Jack Christopher Depp III, born in 2002. However, the couple separated from heir 14 years relationship on June 19, 2012. According to Cinema Online, the 50-year-old Johnny Deep , 50 years old, was always seen wearing his tinted glasses, but the real reason for the star’s choice of accessory is because he is partly blind in his left eye, according to source Cinema Online news. The star of “The Lone Ranger” revealed that his eyes have been a problem since birth due to a blurry eye vision condition which makes it impossible to correct, and relies heavily on corrective prescription glasses. Johnny Depp commented, “Everything is just very, very blurry. I’ve never had proper vision,” in his recent interview with Rolling Stone magazine. Depp is known to play many unusual or odd behavior characters, however, without his eyeglasses, he can only be able to see a few inches from his face. Many of his roles in films are challenging as most of the characters he portray do not wear glasses or sunglasses.

22)  apl.de.ap: The Black Eyed Peas

Allan Pineda better known as apl.de.ap, a Filipino-American rapper, record producer, and occasional drummer who is best known as a member of the The Black Eyed Peas Grammy Award-winning group. apl.de.ap is a citizen of both the United States and the Philippines. Allan Pineda or better known as apl.de.ap revealed in 2011 to People Magazine, that he is legally blind in both of his eyes, suffering from nystagmus, and has had this condition his entire career. Nystagmus is a condition of involuntary eye movement, acquired in infancy or later in life, that may result invlimited or reduced vision, and sometimes associated with vertigo. It is often called “Dancing Eyes” due to involuntary movement of the eyes. Nystagmus has two key forms, the pathological and physiological, with variations within each type. Nystagmus may be caused by congenital disorders, acquired or central nervous system disorders,toxicity, pharmaceutical drugs, alcohol or rotational movement. Nystagmus, was previously considered untreatable, in recent years several pharmaceutical drugs have been identified for treatment.

23)  Jack Osbourne

Jack Joseph Osbourne is an English media personality, known as a MTV’s reality series 2003 to 2005 The Osbournes, along with his father Ozzy and mother Sharon Osbourne, and sister, Kelly. Osbourne has since pursued a career as a fitness and travel reporter, presenting shows in 2005 to 2009;s Jack Osbourne:Adrenaline Junkie and 2007′s BBCs Saving Planet Earth. Jack Osbourne was diagnosed in 2012 with relapsing remitting multiple sclerosis. Jack has been experiencing symptoms for a number of years, including partial blindness, numbness in his legs, and problems with his bladder, bowel, and stomach. Multiple sclerosis (MS), also known as disseminated sclerosis or encephalomyelitis disseminata, is an inflammatory disease in which myelin sheaths around axons of the brain and spinal cord are damaged, leading to loss of myelin and scarring. The cause of MS is not clear, but the underlying mechanism is thought to be either destruction by the immune system or failure of the myelin-producing cells. There is no known cure for multiple sclerosis, and the treatments attempt to return function after an attack, prevent new attacks, and prevent disability. Jack Osbourne and his wife, Lisa Stelly, have a daughter, Pearl Clementine, born on April 24,2012. Osbourne and Stelly were married in Hawaii on October 7, 2012. His mother Sharon Osbourne, was a colon cancer survivor.

24)  Neil Cavuto

Neil Patrick Cavuto an American television anchor and commentator on the Fox Business Network and host of three television programs, Your World with Neil Cavuto and Cavuto on Business, both on the Fox News Channel and Cavuto on sister Fox Business Network. Cavuto and his wife, Mary Fulling, whom he married on October 15, 1983, have three children, Tara, Bradley and Jeremy. They are now living in Mendham, New Jersey. Cavuto has been suffering health problems, and stated ” I fought back a near-life-ending cancer, only to end up with multiple sclerosis years later. Doctors have since told me that the odds of contracting both diseases in the same life are something like two million to one! Yet here I am, marching on, continuing to do my job when doctors who have examined my scans and MRIs tell me I shouldn’t be walking or talking.”

25) Judi Dench

Dame Judith Olivia “Judi” Dench, an English film, stage and television actress, known for her roles in James Bond films. On February 5, 1971, Dench married British actor Michael Williams and they had their only child, Tara Cressida Frances Williams, (born September 24, 1972) best known professionally as Finty Williams. Michael Williams died from lung cancer at the age of 65 in 2001. Dench revealed in early 2012,  about her macular degeneration, with one eye “dry” and the other eye “wet”, for which she has been treated with injections into the eye. Dench stated that she needs someone to read scripts to her. Age-related macular degeneration (AMD) is a medical condition which usually affects older adults and results in a loss of vision in the center of the visual field known as the macula, because of damage to the retina, and occurs in “dry” and “wet” forms. Macular degeneration is a major cause of blindness and visual impairment in older adults (50 years old and above). A person with Macular degeneration have difficulties or impossible to read or recognize faces, although in most cases, there is enough remaining peripheral vision to allow other activities of daily life.

26)  Glenn Beck

Glenn Edward Lee Beck is an American conservative television and radio host, political commentator, author, television network producer, media personality, and entrepreneur. His mother died from drowning just west of Tacoma, Washington in Puget Sound on May 15, 1979, while out on a small boat, with a male companion, who was also drowned. Beck has described his mother’s death as a suicide during interviews on TV and radio broadcasts. After their mother’s death, Beck and his older sister moved to their father’s home in Bellingham, Washington. Beck met his first wife, Claire, and married in 1983, and had two daughters, Mary and Hannah. Mary developed cerebral palsy as a result of a series of strokes at birth in 1988. Glenn Beck and Claire, divorced in 1994 amid Beck’s struggles with substance abuse and alcoholism, and while recovering, he was diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and has described himself as a borderline schizophrenic. Beck was suicidal in 1994, and imagined shooting himself to the music of Kurt Cobain. Becks credits Alcoholics Anonymous (AA)  with helping him achieve sobriety.  In 2010, Beck , 46,was diagnosed with degenerative eye disease called macular dystrophy a condition that could eventually make him go blind. Beck, said he has been having trouble focusing with his eyes so he went to the doctor this past weekend. Vitelliform macular dystrophy or vitelliform dystrophy is a genetic eye disorder that can cause progressive loss of vision. This disorder affects the retina, specifically cells in a small area near the center of the retina called the macula, which is responsible for sharp central vision, which is needed for detailed tasks such as reading, driving, and recognizing faces. Vitelliform macular dystrophy causes a fatty yellow pigment known as lipofuscin to build up in cells underlying the macula. Generally, the abnormal accumulation of this substance can damage cells that are critical for clear central vision. As a result, person with this disorder often lose their central vision and may experience blurry or distorted vision, but it does not affect peripheral side vision or the ability to see at night.

27) Joost van der Westhuizen

Joost van der Westhuizen a former South African rugby union footballer who was the Springboks’ first choice scrum-half in the mid-to-late 1990s and early 2000s, was capped 89 times for the Springboks and scored 38 tries. Van der Westhuizen’s publicist announced that he had a muscle related neural disease, on May 12, 2011, and believed to be a form of motor neurone disease. The Cleveland Clinic doctors, in the United States have since confirmed that the former Springbok captain has Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis  and has only an 80% chance to live for two to five years from diagnosis. Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) also referred to as motor neurone disease in some countries of Commonwealth of Nations, and in the United States it is known as Lou Gehrig’s disease, a debilitating disease with varied etiology characterized by rapidly progressive weakness, muscle atrophy, fasciculations, muscle spasticity, difficulty speaking or dysarthria, dysphagia or difficulty in swallowing and dyspnea, difficulty in breathing. ALS is the most common of the five motor neuron disease. Genetic factors, There is a known hereditary factor in familial ALS (FALS), where the condition is known to run in families as one of the genetic factors of this life threatening disease.

28)  Former US President Bill Clinton

William Jefferson “Bill” Clinton (born William Jefferson Blythe III, his biological father, William Jefferson Blythe, Jr. was a traveling salesman who died in an automobile accident three months before Bill was born, that Bill formally adopted the surname Clinton as a gesture toward his stepfather. Bill Clinton is an American politician who served as the 42nd US President from 1993 to 2001. Inaugurated at age 46, and named as the 3rd youngest president of the United States. Later, he was impeached for perjury and obstruction of Justice in a White House scandal with an intern, but was acquitted by the U.S. Senate and was able to complete his term of office. He met fellow law student Hilary Rodham in 1971 in Yale University, who was a year ahead of him. They married on October 11, 1975, and had their only child, Chelsea, who was  born on February 27, 1980. Clinton underwent a quadruple bypass surgery in September 2004.  Clinton underwent surgery  in March 2005, for a partially collapsed lung. He was rushed to Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in New York City after complaining of chest pains, and had two coronary stents (a tube implanted in the coronary arteries that supply the heart)  implanted in his heart in February 11, 2010.
