Celebrities with Relatives in Show-business

There are several famous showbiz celebrities who have relatives in the world of the same field of show business making their own names, although some celebrities became known because of their relative’s influence. One example is the veteran actor, Kirk Douglas, one of the last surviving actors from Hollywood’s golden age, and at age 96, Kirk Douglas is the oldest celebrity blogger. He was first married to Diana Dill, the Bermudian actress, and together they have two sons, Michael Douglas, American actor and producer, married to Welsh actress, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Joel Douglas, an American movie producer before their divorce in 1951. Cameron Douglas, an American actor, is the eldest son of Michael Douglas from a previous marriage to Diandra Morell Luker-Douglas (for her Cameron is her only child), but currently behind bars because of drug possession and heroin to distribute drugs. Cameron Douglas was again found to have drugs in his system while serving a ten year sentence in prison in Loretto, Pennsylvania in January 2013. He failed a drug test via urinalysis and was sent to solitary confinement. In April 2013, Cameron Douglas lost an appeal to have his sentence reduced, and will have to remain in prison until early 2018. Kirk Douglas has two sons, Peter Douglas, American Producer, and the late actor, Eric Douglas, who died from drug overdoes at the age of 46, on July 6, 2004, from his second marriage, Anne Buydens, German American producer.

Michael Douglas and Joel Douglas are the two sons of actro, Kirk Douglas from his first marriage to actress Diana Dill.

American producer Peter Douglas, and actor Eric Douglas are the two sons of Kirk Douglas from his second marriage to Anne Buyden, and they are the half brothers of Michael and Joel Douglas.

1)  Angelina Jolie

Angelina Jolie born Angelina Jolie Voight, divorced from actors Jonny Lee Miller and Billy Bob Thornton, and currently living with actor Brad Pitt, a relationship notable for media attention. Jolie and Pitt have three biological children and three adopted children. Angelina Jolie is the daughter of actors Jon Voight and actress Marcheline Bertrand (died of ovarian cancer at the age of 56  on January 27, 2007). Angelina Jolie is the sister of actor-producer James Haven. Angelina Jolie, is the niece of singer-songwriter Chip Taylor, and goddaughter of actors Jacqueline Bisset and Maximilian Schell. On her father’s side, Jolie is of German and Slovak descent, and on her mother’s side, she is of primarily French Canadian, Dutch, and German ancestry. Jolie and brother James Haven was estranged from their father for several years, during which Haven legally dropped “Voight” as his surname. In the wake of their mother’s death from ovarian cancer on January 27, 2007, Haven and Jolie reconciled with their father after a six-year estrangement.

 

Chip Taylor

James Wesley Voight better known as Chip Taylor as his stage name, is an American songwriter, noted for writing the songs, Angel of the Morning and Wild Thing. Chip Taylor is the younger brother of actor Jon Voight and geologist Barry Voight and the uncle of actress Angelina Jolie and actor James Haven.

2) Baldwin Brothers

Alexander Rae “Alec” Baldwin III is an American film, stage and television actor, the eldest of the four Baldwin brothers, all well-known actors, and a member of the Baldwin family. Alec Baldwin is a columnist for The Huffington Post. The Baldwin family were raised as Catholic. In 1993, Alec Baldwin first married Kim Bassinger, and both had a daughter, model Ireland Baldwin born October 23, 1995. The couple divorced in 2002. Alec married second wife, Yoga Vida instructor Hilaria Thomas on June 30, 2012.

Daniel Leroy Baldwin, age 52, is an American actor, producer and director, the second eldest of the four Baldwin brothers, all of whom are actors, and part of the Baldwin family. Daniel Baldwin is known for his role as Detective Beau Felton in the popular Homecide: Life on the Street NBC TV series. In 1984, Daniel Baldwin had a daughter, Kahlea Baldwin, with his first wife, Cheryl. Daniel Baldwin married actress Elizabeth Baldwin in 1990, and they had a daughter, Alexandra Baldwin born in 1994, before divorcing in 1996. Alexandra moved to England with her mother and stepfather. Baldwin was involved for a decade with his co-star, Chicago-born actress Isabella Hofmann. They have a son, Atticus, who was born in July 1996. In 1998, Daniel Baldwin, was found running naked through the New York’s Plaza Hotel hall, shouting “Baldwin”, and was arrested for possession of cocaine. He plead guilty to disorderly conduct and was sentenced to 3 months drug rehabilitation. Daniel Baldwin is married to Joanne Smith-Baldwin, a former British model, with whom he had a baby girl, Avis Ann, born in 2008, and in 2009 their second daughter, Finley Rae Martineau, was born. In 2011, Daniel Baldwin filed for divorce, and sought a restraining order against his wife, Joanne Smith. However, in August 2011, Baldwin and his wife announced that they had dropped the divorce filings and are attempting to reconcile. Daniel Baldwin was again involved of grand theft auto, allegedly stealing GMC Yukon SUV with bail set at $20,000 but was cleared by Judge Nancy Newman, due to error of court communication related to separate charges that year.

William Joseph Baldwin is an American actor, producer, writer, brother of Alec, Daniel and Stephen Baldwin, known for his starring roles in 1990 films Flatliners and many other films. Baldwin was cast in a recurring role on Hawaii Five-o  as a dirty cop, former homicide detective Frank Delano, appearing over the show’s second season as well as the season premiere episode of the third season. In 1995, William Baldwin married singer Chynna Phillips, of the Wilson Phillips music group. Together, they have three children, daughter Jameson (born 2000), son Vance (born 2002), and daughter Brooke (born 2004).

Stephen Andrew Baldwin is an American actor, director, producer and author, who appeared in several films and and in reality shows, such as the 2010 Celebrity Big Brother and Celebrity Apprentice. Stephen Baldwin is the youngest of the Baldwin brothers, and known for publicly expressing his Christian faith. Baldwin currently living with wife, Brazilian graphic designer, Kennya Deodato-Baldwin in the village of Nyack, New York, whom he met in 1987 and married in 1990. The couple have two children, Alaia (born 1993) and Hailey Rhode (born 1996). Eumir Deodato, Brazilian musician, is the father of Kennya and Stephen’s father-in-law is the Grammy Award winner. Stephen and his wife, Kennya, defaulted on paying $824,488.36 on their mortgage, and on June 12, 2009, their Upper Grandview home in Rockland County, New York, was auctioned off, after Bankers Trust Co. foreclosed their home.  On July 21, 2009, Stephen Baldwin filed for a Chapter 11 bankruptcy petition in New York, according to a court document that says he is millions in debt. He claimed he owes more than $2.3 million and owns a New York property valued at only $1.1 million. Stephen Baldwin filed a $3.8 million lawsuit against actor Kevin Costner in December 2010, over oil-separating technology that was used to help solve the BP oil spill also referred to as Deepwater Horizon oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. A jury sided with Kevin Costner in June 2012, and awarded Baldwin no damages. Baldwin plead guilty to failing to file income taxes for the years 2008, 2009 and 2010 in March 2013. Baldwin agreed to pay $300,000 within a year, or he will be sentenced to five years’ probation and have five years to pay the money.On January 3, 2010, Stephen Baldwin was the first person to enter the Celebrity Big Brother House, and was the 4th housemate to be evicted.

3) Chynna Phillips

Chynna Phillips born Gilliam Chynna Phillips is an American singer and actress, known for being a member of Wilson Phillips. Chunna is the daughter of John and Michelle Phillips of the famous group, The Mamas and the Papas. Chynna Phillips is the half-sister of Mackenzie Phillips and Bijou Phillips. Chynna returned to acting appearing as Kim MacAfee in the Bye Bye Birdie television movie in 1995. In 2004,Chynna voiced the character of Kitty along with her husband William Baldwin as Johnny 13 in Danny Phantom. Chynna Phillips and actor William Baldwin met in 1991 and has been married to him since 1995. The couple have three children, daughter Jameson (born 2000), son Vance (born 2002), and daughter Brooke (born 2004). In September 2009, Chynna’s half-sister Mackenzie Phillips alleged in her biography that she and her father had a “non-consensual” ten-year incestuous relationship. While both John Phillips ex wives, Genevieve Waite and Michelle Phillips, told the media that they did not believe her claims, however, half-sister Chynna Phillips stated on the record that she did believe Mackenzie was telling the truth. Chynna Phillips was treated for anxiety on February 12, 2010 which was her 42nd birthday. In a statement made by Chynna’s manager, Lizzie Grubman on February 27, she said, “After successfully completing her in-patient treatment for anxiety, Chynna Phillips has happily returned home to celebrate her daughter’s birthday with her family.”

Laura Mackenzie Phillips  is an American actress and singer, best known for her roles in American Graffiti and as rebellious teenager Julie Cooper Horvath on the One Day at a Time sitcom. Mackenzie Phillips is known for her role in the So Weird, a Disney Channel science fiction show. Mackenzie Phillips  is the daughter of The Mamas and the Papas singer, John Phillips and his first wife, Susan Adams. She is the sister of Jeffrey Phillips and a half-sister of Tamerlane Phillips, actress Bijou Phillips and singer Chynna Phillips-Baldwin. In September 2009, Mackenzie Phillips’ High on Arrival memoir was released, after which she appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show, for an hour-long interview. Mackenzie revealed to Oprah Winfrey that she first tried cocaine, at age of 11, and that her father, John Phillips, did drugs with her and injected her with cocaine, and said the incestuous relationship had began before her wedding day at age 19, and the relationship went on gradually for ten years, and that she ended it when she became pregnant and did not know who had fathered the child. Mackenzie revealed that her father paid for her to have an abortion, “and I never let him touch me again.”  Phillips has been married twice, first in 1979 to 1981 to rock-group manager Jeffrey Sessler, and to Michael Barakan, rock guitarist, from 1996 to 2000, now known professionally as Shayne Fontayne. Mackenzie and Shayne, has a son, Shane Barakan (born 1987), a musician.

Bijou Lilly Phillips is an American actress, model, and singer. Bijou Phillips began her career as a model at the age of 13, making her the youngest model to be the cover of of Interview Magazine and Italian Vogue, but later she began acting and singing. Bijou also appeared in several ads for Calvin Klein. She has played the recurring role of Lucy Carlyle on the Raising Hope television series since 2010. Bijou Phillips is the daughter of John Phillips of The Mamas and the Papas and wife Genevieve Waite, a South African model, artists and also an actress. The youngest of John Phillips’s children, she has one brother, Tamerlane, and three half-sisters Mackenzie and Chynna and half brother Jeffrey. After her parents separation,  split up,and both parents were found unfit to have custody of Bijou and she was placed in foster care with a family in Bolton Landing, New York. Then, at age 14, her father John. won custody on Bijou, but she quit school, left home and moved into her own apartment just off Fifth Avenue with her own housekeeper. When she was aged 15 or 16 she dated Evan Dando from The Lemonheads. In 1997, Bijou dated Elijah Blue Allman (son of Cher and half brother of Chaz Bono). In 2000,she had a relationship with Sean Lennon (son of the late John Lennon and Yoko Ono) , until they broke up in 2003, because Phillips had an affair with her childhood friend Max LeRoy. In 2004, Phillips began dating actor Danny Masterson of That ’70s Show, where the couple met at a poker tournament in Las Vegas. They are both Scientologists, and were married on October 18, 2011 in a private castle in Ireland. Bijou Phillips wore a wedding gown Zac Posen custom. Danny Masterson is the brother of actor Christopher Masterson.

4) Cher

Cher born Cherilyn Sarkisian. age 67, is an American singer and actress, known for her distinctive contralto, a classical female singing voice with vocal range as the lowest voice type for female. Cher is recognized for having brought the sense of female autonomy and self-actualization into the entertainment industry, and for having worked in various areas of entertainment, as well as for continuously reinventing both her music and image, and was known as the Goddess of Pop. In 1965, she became prominent as one-half of the husband and wife folk rock duo, Sonny& Cher, popularized a particular smooth sound that successfully competed with the dominant British Invasion and Motown era sounds. Cher’s father, John Sarkisian, was an Armenian truck driver with drug and gambling problems, and her mother, Jackie Jean Crouch, while working as waitress, she was pursuing an acting career, and changed her name to Georgia Holt, was an occasional model and bit-part actress with Irish, English, German, and Cherokee ancestry. Cher discover that she had dyslexia, as she grow older. Cher met American singer Sonny Bono, 11 years her senior, born Salvatore Phillip “Sonny” Bono, he died on January 5, 1998, of injuries sustained when he hit a tree while skiing on the Heavenly Ski Resort, Nevada side near South Lake Tahoe, California, in November 1962 when he was working for Phil Spector.  Cher and Sonny Bono married after she gave birth to Chastity Bono, on March 4, 1969, now known as Chaz Bono. By late 1972, Sonny and Cher’s marriage was over, but continued with their appearances as duo until 1974. Their divorce was finalized on June 26, 1975. Cher married rock musician Gregg Allman  co-founder of The Allman Brothers Band on June 30, 1975, just days after her divorce with Bono was finalized. Cher filed for divorce from Allman, nine days later, citing his heroin and liquor problems, but they reconciled and remained married until 1979. They had one son, Elijah Blue born on July 10, 1976.

Chaz Bono

Chaz Salvatore Bono born as Chastity Sun Bono, a pre-op or Sex reassignment surgery, is an American advocate, writer and musician. He is the only child of American entertainers Sonny Bono and Cher, although each had children from other relationships. Chaz Bono  is a transgender man.

Elijah Blue Allman

Elijah Blue Allman is an American musician, the son of Cher and her second husband Gregg Allman, and half brother of Chaz Bono, Delilah Allman, Michael Allman, Layla Allman and Devon Allman. Elijah Blue was romantically link with Bijou Phillips once, and he is currently living in Germany.

5) Greg Allman

Gregory LeNoir “Gregg” Allman is an American rock and blues singer-songwriter, keyboardist, guitarist and a founding member of The Allman Brothers Band. In 1970s, Gregg Allman struggled with drugs, and throughout much of his musical career. These were both illegal and legal, primarily cocaine, heroin, and alcohol. But became sober since the mid-1990s. In 2007, Gregg Allman was diagnosed with Hepatitis C which he attributes to infection from a dirty tattoo needle and he underwent surgery for a liver transplant on June 23, 2010. Allman has been married six times, and has five children.

Layla Brooklyn Allman

Layla ‘Brooklyn’ Allman, daughter of legendary musician Gregg Allman, the front-woman for Picture Me Broken group, an American four-piece rock band from Redwood City, California. Layla Allman was only 12 years old when she started the band and kept working, playing, and replacing the pieces along the way. The lone original member aside from Layla Allman is bassist Austin Dunn. The Picture Me Broken current members are: Layla Brooklyn Allman, as Vocals, Keyboards, Dante Phoenix as the group’s Co-Lead Guitar, Jimmy Strimpel as Co-Lead Guitar and Shaun Foist on Drums. Just like her half brother Devon, he met her father during their teens.

Devon Allman

Devon Allman is a vocalist, guitarist, keyboardist and songwriter. Devon Allman is the founder and bandleader of Honeytribe also called as Devon Allman’s Honeytribe. Devon is the son of Gregg Allman and Shelley Kay Jefts. His parents divorced when he was an infant, andDevon was raised by his mother and he grew up in Corpus Christi, Texas, as well as Tennessee and St. Louis Missouri, in a typical suburban American household. Devon never meet his father since he was young, until he was in his teens, but they then bonded instantly. Devon has also appeared occasionally as a guest musician for both Gregg Allman and The Allman Brothers Band. His latest musical projects are the blues-rock Royal Southern Brotherhood super group, and a solo album which is scheduled for release in February 2013.

6)  David Bowie

David Robert Jones known by his stage name David Bowie, is an English musician, actor, arranger and record producer and became popular for over four decades. In 1962, Bowie received a serious eye injury at school when his friend George Underwood punched him in the left eye during a fight over a girl. Bowie’s attending physician feared his left eye would become blind. After a series of eye surgery during a four-month hospitalization, his doctors determined that the damage could not be fully repaired and Bowie was left with faulty visual ability and a permanently dilated pupil. His eye condition was later misled by some people believing that Bowie has Heterochromia or different colored eyes, when in reality both irises are the same blue color. Underwood and Bowie remained good friends, despite the fight causing eye damage to Bowie, both continued to create the artwork for Bowie’s early albums. On March 19, 1970, Bowie married Mary Angela Barnett or known as Angie Bowie, an American model, cover girl, actress and musician, at Bromley Register Office on Beckenham Lane, Bromley, London. They had a son, Zowie Bowie or better known as Duncan Jones, film director. David Bowie and Angie, divorced on February 8, 1980 in Switzerland. Duncan Zowie Haywood Jones, is an English film director, known for directing the award-winning science fiction 2009 Moon films and Source Code in 2011. Duncan Jones is the half-brother of Alexandria “Lexi” Jones (born 2000), from his father, David Bowie’s second marriage to the fashion model Iman. And half-sister, Stacia Larranna Celeste Lipka (born 1980), from his mother’s relationship with musician Drew Blood (real name Andrew Lipka). Duncan Jones also has a stepsister, Zulekha Haywood (born 1978), who is the daughter of his stepmother, Iman from her second husband, Spencer Haywood, former NBA basketball player. On June 28, 2012, Duncan Jones announced his engagement to photographer Rodene Ronquillo. Jones and Ronquillo married on November 6, 2012, which on the same day Ronquillo was diagnosed with breast cancer. The couple have been campaigning ever since, to raise awareness for the cancer disease and for early diagnosis.

7)  Lloyd Bridges

Lloyd Vernet Bridges, Jr. was a veteran American actor who played in a variuos television series and appeared in more than 150 feature films. Bridges is best known for his role of Mike Nelson in the most popular syndicated American TV series, Sea Hunt in 1958. Lloyd Bridges  was the father of actors Beau Bridges and Jeff Bridges. Lloyd Bridges met his wife, Dorothy Simpson-Bridges in his fraternity, they married in 1938 in New York City. They had four children, sons, Beau Bridges (born in 1941), Garrett Myles Bridges (born August 3, 1948) but died because of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome and Jeff Bridges (born in 1949), a daughter, Lucinda Louise Bridges (born in October 1953). Dorothy Simpson-Bridges (born 1915) was an American actress and poet and sometimes credited as Dorothy Dean. Lloyd Bridges died of natural death at the age of 85, on March 10, 1998. Dorothy Bridges died at age 93, on February 16, 2009 due o age-related cause.  Actor Jordan Bridges is the son of Beau and the grandson of Lloyd and Dorothy Bridges.

Beau  Bridges

Lloyd Vernet “Beau” Bridges III better known as Beau Bridges, is an American actor and director, the son of actors Lloyd (1913–1998) and Dorothy Simpson-Bridges (1915–2009). Actor Jeff Bridges is his younger brother and he has a younger sister, Lucinda. Another brother, Garrett, died in 1948 of sudden infant death syndrome. Beau and younger brother Jeff, has a close relationship as sibling, to whom Beau acted as a surrogate father during their childhood, when their father was busy with work. In 1964, Beau Bridges married Julie Landfield and the two divorced in 1984. They have two children, Casey Bridges (born in 1969) and actor Jordan Bridges (born in 1973). In 1984, Beau married Wendy Treece. They have three children, Dylan Bridges (born 1984), Emily Bridges (born 1986), and Ezekiel Jeffrey “Zeke” Bridges (born 1990).

Jordan Bridges

Jordan P. Bridges is an American actor,  and is the son of actor Beau Bridges and first wife Julie Landfield. He is the nephew of Jeff Bridges and the grandson of Lloyd and Dorothy Bridges. Jordan Bridges is married artist-inventor Caroline Sherman Eastman in 2002 and has a daughter with her named Lola (born in 2003), and a son Orson was born on October 20, 2005. Jordan Bridges also had a guest role in Charmed the television series season four two part premiere episode as Shane, Paige’s boyfriend. He also played the recurring character Tom Hastings in the Bionic Woman series, played supporting roles in Drive Me Crazy, Happy Campers, Frequenzy and Mona Lisa Smile films. He also played David, a man hired to impersonate a woman’s fiance to her family over Thanksgiving in A Holiday Engagement.

Jeff Bridges

Jeffrey Leon “Jeff” Bridges is an American actor and producer, and comes from a well-known acting family and began his first televised acting in 1958, on television series Sea Hunt, as a child with his father, Lloyd Bridges, and brother Beau. In 1977, Beau Bridges married Susan Geston. They met during the shooting film of Rancho Deluxe, which was filmed on a ranch where Susan Geston was working as a maid. They have three daughters, Isabelle Annie (born August 6, 1981), Jessica Lily “Jessie” (born June 14, 1983), and Hayley Roselouise (born October 17, 1985). Jeff became a grandfather on March 31, 2011, when Isabelle gave birth to a daughter, Grace.

8)  Ben Affleck

Benjamin Géza Affleck-Boldt better known as Ben Affleck, is an American actor, film director, producer, and screenwriter. Affleck was recognized as a writer when he won the Academy Award and Golden Globe Award for the 1997 Good Will Hunting as Best Original Screenplay, which he co-wrote and in which he co-starred with actor Matt Damon. His younger brother is actor Casey Affleck. The Affleck has English, Irish, Scottish and German ancestry. Their surname Affleck is Scottish, and his middle name, Géza, was the name of a family friend. In 1984 his parents divorced, and his family moved to Cambridge, Massachusetts, when he was young. Eight year-old Ben Affleck met 10-year-old Matt Damon, who was living just two blocks away. Matt Damon is Affleck’s tenth cousin, once removed, through a common New England ancestor. Affleck is an avid poker player, and has regularly entered local events. Ben Affleck has been tutored by poker professionals Amir Vahedi and Anne Duke, and on June 20, 2004, he won the California State Poker Championship, taking home the first prize of $356,000, which qualified him for the 2004 World Poker Tour final tournament. In 1998, Ben Affleck had a relationship with actress Gyneth Paltrow, after breaking up with actor Brad Pitt. Affleck began dating actress/singer Jennifer Lopez in 2002, whom he had met while filming Gigli. He began dating co‑star, actress Jennifer Garner, and the two were married on June 29, 2005, in Turks and Caicos, located in the Atlantic Ocean north of Haiti and the Dominican Republic. Casey Affleck

Caleb Casey McGuire Affleck-Boldt is an American actor and film director. Casey is the younger brother of actor and director Ben Affleck  with whom he frequently work together professionally. Casey Affleck gained recognition in 2007 as his breakout year, and critical acclaim for his work in Gone Baby Gone and The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward  Robert Ford, for which he was nominated for Best Supporting Actor in an Academy Award. He is a tenth cousin, once removed, of actor Matt Damon, through a common New England ancestor. On June 3, 2006, Casey Affleck married Summer Phoenix, his girlfriend of six years, in Savannah, Georgia. The couple were introduced by her brother, Joaquin Phoenix. They have two sons, Indiana August, born on May 31, 2004 in Amsterdam, and Atticus, born in January 12, 2008. Casey Affleck had numerous pets, during his younger age, including cats, snakes, guinea pigs and turtles. He is a vegan, and thus does not eat meat or any other animal products. Casey Affleck was sued by two former female co-workers for sexual harassment in 2010, the cases were settled out of court.

Matt Damon

Matthew Paige “Matt” Damon is an American actor, screenwriter, producer, and philanthropist whose career was launched following the success of the 1997 Good Will Hunting drama film from a screenplay he co-wrote with friend and actor Ben Affleck, winning Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay and the Golden Globe Award for Best Screenplay for their work. Damon grew up near the home of actor Ben Affleck, became a close friend since childhood and collaborator on several films, and Affleck’s tenth cousin, once removed, through a common New England ancestor. Damon dated his Good Will Hunting co-star Minnie driver. He later had a two-year relationship with actress Winona Ryder, dated a former personal assistant of Billy Bob Thornton and Ben Affleck, Odessa Whitmire from 2001 to 2003. Matt Damon met  Luciana Bozán Barroso (born 1976) in Miami, Florida, an Argentine-born, where she was working as a bartender. On December 9, 2005, the couple married in a private civil ceremony at the Manhattan Marriage Bureau near New York City Hall. The couple has three daughters. Damon became stepfather to Alexia, Bozán Barroso’s young daughter from her previous marriage.

9)  Joaquin Phoenix

Joaquin Rafael Phoenix formerly credited as Leaf Phoenix, is an American actor, music video director, producer, musician, and social activist. Joaquin Phoenix started his career as a child actor, and was noted for his portrayal in the 2000 historical epic film Gladiator as Commodus, directed by Ridley Scott. Joaquin Phoenix was born Joaquín Rafael Bottom in Rio Piedras, a sector of the city of San Juan, Puerto Rico, where he lived until he was aged six. The family decided to leave the cult and went back to United States, and they changed their last name to “Phoenix” to symbolize a new beginning, during this time, Joaquin had begun calling himself “Leaf,” with desire of having a nature-related name like his siblings and was inspired by spending time outdoors raking leaves with his father. He is the third of five children, including River Phoenix (born 1970–died 1993), Rain Phoenix (born 1972), Liberty Phoenix (born 1976), and Summer Phoenix (born 1978) and a half-sister from a previous relationship of their father born in 1964, named Jodean. In 1990s, Joaquin Phoenix dated actress Liv Tyler for three years. Phoenix checked into rehab to be treated for alcoholism in early April 2005. Their mother, Arlyn Sharon Dunetz was born in the Bronx, New York, to Jewish parents from Hungary and Russia, while their father, John Lee Bottom, was a lapsed Catholic from Fontana, California. Phoenix’s mother left her family in 1968 and moved to California, meeting Phoenix’s father while hitch-hiking. They married in 1969 and joined the religious cult the Children of God, working as missionaries and fruit pickers in South America.

Mia Abagale Tallarico better known as Mia Tyler, is an American actress, model, public speaker and advocate. She is the daughter of Steven Tyler lead singer of Aerosmith and actress Cyrinda Foxe, and paternal half-sister of actress Liv Tyler (whose mother is model and singer Bebe Buell). In 1979, Mia Tyler was formerly married to Dave Buckner former drummer of Papa Roach band and was engaged to guitarist Brian Harrah. River Phoenix

River Jude Phoenix was an American film actor, musician, and activist. He was the older brother of Rain Phoenix, Joaquin Phoenix, Summer Phoenix and Liberty Phoenix. River Phoenix was noted for his work as an actor in 24 films and television appearances, including the science fiction adventure Explorers movie, Stand by Me film, the action movie Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade sequel and My Own Private Idaho, the independent adult drama. River Phoenix collapsed and died of drug-induced heart failure on the sidewalk outside The Viper Room nightclub in West Hollywood co-owned by actor Johnny Depp on October 31, 1993. Rain Phoenix

Rain Phoenix was born Rain Joan of Arc Bottom, is an American actress, musician and singer. Rain Phoenix has four siblings, two brothers, actors Joaquin and the late River Phoenix, and two sisters, Liberty and Summer. Rain and Joaquin flew to Los Angeles to meet River during a break from filming Dark Blood, and joined River’s girlfriend Samantha Mathis, on the evening of October 30, 1993, they set out, for a night at the LA club co-owned by actor Johnny Depp, The Viper Room. Nobody suspected it would be the last evening of River  Phoenix spending time with her brother Joaquin and sister Rain. River died later that night from heart failure attributed to a drug overdose of a concoction known as speedball from heroin and cocaine.

Summer Phoenix

Summer Phoenix born Summer Joy Bottom, is an American actress and model, and the youngest among the Phoenix siblings and is married to actor Casey Affleck. On December 25, 2003, Summer became engaged to actor Casey Affleck, and married on June 3, 2006 in Savannah, Georgia. Summer gave birth to a son, Indiana August Affleck, on May 31, 2004, in Amsterdam, and had a second son, Atticus Affleck, on January 12, 2008. In 2002, Arquette was engaged to actor Thomas Jane, and subsequently married on June 25, 2006, at the Palazzo Contarini in Venice, Italy and gave birth in 2003 to a daughter, Harlow Olivia Calliope. In January 2009, Arquette filed for divorce from Thomas Jane citing of irreconcilable differences. On July 1, 2011, the divorce was finalized and both were granted joint custody of their child.

Sylvester Stallone was born Michael Sylvester Gardenzio Stallone in New York City, the eldest son of hairdresser Frank Stallone, Sr., and astrologer, former dancer and women’s wrestling promoter Jacqueline “Jackie” Labofish-Stallone. Stallone’s father was born in Gioia del Colle, Apulia, Italy and in the 1930′s he emigrated to the United States. While Stallone’s mother is of half Russian Jewish and half French from Brittany descent.  Sylvester Stallone’s younger brother is actor and musician Frank Stallone. During Sylvester Stallone’s birth, his mother suffered some complications during a forced labor, thus, her obstetricians had to use two pairs of forceps during his birth, but misuse of these forceps accidentally severed a nerve and caused paralysis in the face parts of Stallone. Resulting to paralyzed lower left side of his face, including parts of his lip, tongue, and chin, an accident which has given Stallone his snarling look and slightly slurred speech. Stallone was baptized Catholic, but he stopped going to church, as his acting career progressed. In 1996, Sylvester Stallone re-embraced Catholic faith, when his daughter was born ill, and is now an active Catholic. His father, Frank Sr. was a beautician, moved the family to Washington, D.C., where he opened a beauty school, while his mother Jackie, opened Barbella’s, a women’s gymnasium in 1954. Stallone was nine years old when their parents divorced and he lived with his mother. Stallone has been married three times. On December 28, 1974, at the age of 28, he married Sasha Czack from Pennsylvania, and had two sons, Sage Moonblood (born May 5, 1976 –died  July 2012) and Seargeoh (born 1979), who was diagnosed with autism at an early age. Stallone and Czack divorced on February 14, 1985. On December 15, 1985, Sylvester Stallone married model and actress Brigitte Nielsen in Beverly Hills, California, but their marriage, lasted two years and ended in divorce. In May 1997, Stallone married former American model and current entrepreneur and business owner Jennifer Flavin, with whom he has three daughters, Sistine Rose (1996), Sophie Rose (1998), and Scarlet Rose (2002).. On August 26, 2012, his half-sister, Toni Ann Filiti, died of lung cancer, at the age of 48, just six weeks after the death of his son, Sage. She died at their mother Jackie Stallone’s home in Santa Monica after she left the UCLA hospital.

Sage Stallone

Sage Moonblood Stallone (May 5, 1976) was an American actor, film director, film producer, and film distributor and eldest son of Sylvester Stallone and Sasha Czack. He was the brother of Seargeoh Stallone, and half-brother of Sistine, Sophia, and Scarlet Stallone. His uncle was actor and singer Frank Stallone, and his grandmother was Jackie Stallone, Jennifer Flavin was his stepmother, and his godfather was actor Joe Spinell. Sage Stallone was of Italian, French and Russian-Jewish ancestry on his father’s side. Sage Stallone married actress Starlin Wright in 2007, however in 2008, their marriage was annulled. Sage Stallone was found dead on July 13, 2012 in his Studio City, Los Angeles home. According to some reports, prior to his death, Sage had not been heard from for days and died between three and seven days prior to being found. His funeral was held on July 21 at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church in Los Angeles, and was interred at Westwood Village Memorial Park Cemetery. On August 30, 2012, The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office, announced that Stallone died of atherosclerosis, (also known as arteriosclerotic vascular disease or ASVD) a condition in which an artery wall thickens as a result of the accumulation of fatty materials such as cholesterol and triglyceride, a syndrome affecting arterial blood vessels causing heart attack.

Jackie Stallone

Jacqueline M. “Jackie” Labofish-Stallone born November 29, 1921, is an American astrologer, former dancer, and promoter of women’s wrestling, mother of actor Sylvester Stallone and singer Frank Stallone. She is also the mother of actress Toni D’Alto (by her ex-husband Anthony Filiti). Toni died of lung cancer on August 26, 2012 at the age of 47. She was born Jacqueline M. Labofish in Washington, D.C.  the daughter of a French socialite, Jeanne Victoria Anne “Adrienne” Clerec, and a prominent attorney, John Labofish.

Frank Stallone

  American actor, singer, guitarist and Golden Globe and Grammy Award nominated songwriter, Frank P. Stallone, Jr. Sylvester Stallone’s younger brother was born in New York City to Jacqueline “Jackie” Stallone and hairdresser Frank Sr. Frank Jr. started his career around the time of high school singing on street corners and making money with his guitar. He also played in a recurring role on the short-lived sitcom Movie Stars, alongside fellow celebrity siblings Don Swayze and Joey Travolta.

In 1991, Patrick Swayze was named by People magazine as its “Sexiest Man Alive”. In January 2008, Swayze was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer Stage IV. Patrick Swayze died from the disease on September 14, 2009. He had two younger brothers, actor Don Swayze (born 1958) and Sean Kyle (born 1962), and two sisters, Vickie Lynn (1949–1994) and Bambi. Dustin Hoffman’s older brother, Ronald Hoffman, is a lawyer and economist. Hoffman is Jewish, from an Ashkenazi family of immigrants from Kiev and Iași, Romania. In May 1969, Hoffman married Anne Byrne, and adopted Karina (born 1966), Byrne’s child from a previous marriage, and had a daughter with Anne Byrne, Jenna (born October 15, 1970). In 1970, Hoffman and Byrne were living in a building next to the townhouse destroyed by members of the Weathermen when a bomb was accidentally detonated in the building’s basement, killing three people in the said incident.Hoffman can be seen standing in the street during the aftermath of the explosion during the 2002 documentary film The Weather Underground.
