Celebrities who are Gay, Transgender/Heterosexuals

Gay  primarily refers to a homosexual person, and the word gay was suggested by major LGBT groups and style guides at the end of the 20th century, to describe gay people attracted to members of the same sex. During that time, a word or phrase that has belittling word or expression use became prevalent in some parts of the world. The state of gender identity of an individual or gender expression not matching to an person’s assigned sex is known as transgender, which is independent of sexual orientation, and may identify as heterosexual, homosexual, bisexual and other terms, which some people may consider conventional sexual orientation labels inadequate or inapplicable to them. Transgender definition includes, designating a person whose identity  is not similar and unclear to conventional conceptions of male or female gender roles, but combines or moves between these. People who at birth were assigned a sex, and based on their genitals, but who feel that this is a an incomplete or false description of themselves. An individual transgender may have a characteristics that are normally associated with a particular gender and identify on the traditional gender that goes through a gradual transition from one condition, to a different condition, or exist outside of it as other, such as agender or agenderism, (in the physical sense it is the division of people into women and men, and is considered erroneous and artificial. During the 1990′s, actor Leonardo DiCaprio sported the skinny look, a difference from traditional masculine look, resulting in a fashion trend called Leo Mania. This trend was followed by musical superstars like David Bowie, Boy George, Prince and Annie Lennox, which challenged the 1970′s standard model and in the 1980′s, they had elaborate cross gender wardrobes),gender-neutral, genderqueer, non-binary, third gender and many more terms. A transgender person may also identify as bigender, pangender or in several places on either the traditional transgender  that goes through a gradual transition from one condition, to a different condition. Heterosexuality is romantic attraction, sexual attraction or sexual behavior  between two persons of opposite sex or gender. The heterosexual or heterosexuality term is usually applied to humans, while heterosexual behavior is observed in all mammals, and in other animals. Genderqueer (GQ) alternatively non-binary, is a catch-all category for gender identities such as masculine or feminine identities which are outside of the gender binary and cisnormativity  (describe related types of gender identity).

1)  Chaz Bono

Chaz Salvatore Bono born Chastity Sun Bono, is an American advocate, writer and musician, and the only child of American singers and actors Sonny Bono and Cher.  Chaz Bono is a transgender man which after few years, she was being outed as a lesbian in 1995, by the tabloid press, he publicly self-identified as such in a cover story in The Advocate, a leading American gay monthly magazine, eventually going on to discuss the process of coming out to oneself and to others in two books in 1998′s, Family Outing: A Guide to the Coming Out Process for Gays, Lesbians, and Their Families including his coming out account. The 2003 memoir The End of Innocence which discussed his outing, music career, and death of partner Joan, from non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Chaz Bono underwent female-to-male gender transition between 2008 and 2010, but in June 2009, a two-part Entertainment Tonight featured and explained that his transition had started a year before. Bono  legally changed his name and gender in May 2010. At the 2011 Sundance Film Festival, a documentary on Bono’s experience, Becoming Chaz, was screened and later made its television debut on OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network. Bono realized that he was gay at the age of 13, and at age 18, Chaz Bono came out to both parents, Sonny and Cher, as lesbian. In mid-2008, Bono began to undergo physical and social transition from female to male, and on May 8, 2010, his legal transition was completed, when his request for gender and name change was granted by a California court, choosing the name Chaz Salvatore Bono in honor of his celebrity parents. Bono became a competitor on the 13th season of the US version of Dancing with the Stars, in September 2011, paired with Lacey Schwimmer, professional ballroom dancer, and on October 25, 2011, the duo was later eliminated. Chaz Bono was the first openly transgender man starred on a major network television show for something not related to being transgender. In the book Family Outing in 1998, it was detailed on how Bono’s coming out, that has transformed his life, providing him with affirmation as a lesbian, as a woman, and as an individual. And since then, Cher has become an outspoken LGBT rights activist. However his relationship with his father Sonny Bono, became strained after is father became a Republican Congressman from California, which the differences in their political views separated them, and since then, Sonny and son Chaz had not spoken for more than a year at the time of Sonny’s fatal skiing accident in January 1998. In 2006, Chaz Bono was a team captain for Celebrity Fit Club 3 and was supported by girlfriend Jennifer Elia, who orchestrated exercise and training sessions. Chaz Bono split with girlfriend of 12 years Jennifer Elia, after his appearance on Dancing with the Stars.

2)  Thomas Beatie

Thomas Trace Beatie born Tracy Lehuanani LaGondino is an author, public speaker, and advocate for sexuality issues and transgender, focusing on trans fertility and reproductive rights. In 2002, Beatie, a trans man, undergo a gender reassignment surgery, and best known as The Pregnant Man, trough artificial insemination with cryogenic donated sperm in 2007, and became pregnant, because his wife, Nancy was infertile. However, his first pregnancy was an ectopic pregnancy with triplets, and he undergo an emergency surgery, losing all three fetuses. Beatie has given birth to three children. In 2012, Beatie and wife Nancy filed for divorce. The case of Thomas Beatie, a legally documented male who gave birth within a traditional marriage with to a woman, is the first of its kind on record, and also the first time, a court challenged a marriage where the husband gave birth. Thomas Beatie, born  Tracy Lehuanani LaGondino,  was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, the eldest of two children. Beatie’s mother is of English, Irish, Scottish, and Welsh descent, while his father, is of Korean and Filipino decent, who was born and grew up in Hawaii. As a teenager, Beatie or as Tracy LaGondino, was a female model and Miss Teen Hawaii USA pageant finalist. Beatie founded Define Normal, a progressive clothing company in 1997, which has expanded in federal trademark to film and video production. Tracy LaGondino or Beatie, started to self-identify with the male gender when he was age 10, and at age 23, he started his testosterone hormone treatment to transition to live as a man. Beatie underwent a sex reassignment surgery in March 2002. The surgery procedure sometimes known as top surgery or chest reconstruction, which involved a double mastectomy, areolar reshaping , grafting, and shaping the outline of the chest to bring about a male appearance. Beatie wanted to have biological children and not required to have sterilization and to undergo a valid sex change in the United States, and so he kept his internal reproductive organs intact. Tracy LaGondino officially changed his name to Thomas Trace Beatie, before he got married, through Hawaii’s Office of the Lieutenant Governor, and also went through the process of changing his name and gender from female to male on all of his state and federal documents, such as his birth certificate, driver’s license, passport, and social security index, his health and life insurance policies. On February 5, 2003, Thomas Beatie married Nancy Gillespie in a legally valid opposite-sex marriage in Hawaii and later moved to Bend, Oregon in 2005, both filed joint state and federal taxes and as husband and wife, the couple purchased  homes. From 2008 to 2010, Beatie gave birth to all three of his children as a man.Beatie chose to have lower surgery to further modify his body in February 2012, performed by transgender surgeon, Marci Bowers, which was documented on his second appearance of Doctors television series in 2012. The surgical procedure, is called a Ring Metoidioplasty or metaoidioplasty also known informally as a meto or meta, is a feamle-to-male reassignment surgery including transfer of tissue, elongation of the hormonally enlarged phallus (the sexually undifferentiated tissue in an embryo that becomes the penis or clitoris), as well as urethral construction (urethroplasty is the repair of an injury or defect within the walls of the urethra) and lengthening to create a functioning penis.Beatie has also plans to undergo a hysterectomy. Beatie filed a Petition for Legal Separation on March 8, 2012, in Maricopa County, Arizona, and later converted to a divorce by his wife, Nancy, and she was restricted to two-hour supervised visits with the children three times per week. Thomas Beatie was awarded temporary sole custody of his three children on May 16, 2012, and ordered to pay alimony to ex-wife Nancy. On January 31, 2013 a court trial heard to determine custody, child support, and division of property and debts. The courts proceeded with custody arrangements for the three children because they were legally adopted in Oregon, by Thomas Beatie listed as father and Nancy listed as mother on each birth certificate, and the couple had equal parental rights to custody in the Oregon court orders. The court also ruled to give Nancy given the joint legal decision-making, physical custody and equal parenting time, and also ordered Beatie to pay Nancy about  $240 month in child support. However, an Arizona Appeals Court declared that the Thomas and Nancy’s marriage was valid in August 2014, and therefore they can get divorced, also stating that Thomas Beatie should not have had to be sterilized in order to be legally recognized as a man in Arizona or Hawaii. Thomas Beatie currently resided in Phoenix, Arizona, with his three children and girlfriend, Amber Nicholas.

3)  Richard O’Brien

Richard Timothy Smith better known in his stage name as Richard O’Brien, is an Anglo-New Zealand writer, actor, TV presenter and theater performer. O’Brien wrote the The Rocky Horror Show, a cult musical show and later presented The Crystal Maze television show. O’Brien also co-wrote the screenplay of the 1975 film adaptation, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, and appeared in the film as Riff Raff. O’Brien is also the voice of the title character of Lawrence Fletcher, the father of Phineas and Ferb. In 2011, O’Brien became a New Zealand citizenship, but has retained his British citizenship. O’Brien was born Richard Timothy Smith in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, and emigrated to Tauranga, New Zealand with his family in 1951, where his father had purchased a sheep farm. O’Brien learned how to ride horses, and because of this skill, he was given a break into film industry as a stuntman in Carry on Cowboy and developed his interest in comic book and horror films, and later in 1964, he returned to England. He then changed his name to O’Brien, after his acting career was launched, a name after his maternal grandmother, as there was already an actor named Richard Smith. Richard O’Brien has married three times and has three children. In an interview in 2009, O’Brien spoke about an ongoing struggle to reconcile cultural gender roles describing  himself as being transgender or maybe third sex. In an interview in 2013, O’Brien explained in details about using oestrogen or estrogen (primary female sex hormones) for the previous years, and that he looked at himself as a male, 70% and as female, 30%. Obrien, aged 70, proposed on July 7, 2012, to Sabrina Graf, aged 35, a native of Germany, whom he had been dating for 3 years, and on April 6, 2013, they married at their home in Katikah, Bay of Plenty, a town in New Zealand.

4)   Ruby Rose

Ruby Rose Langenheim better known as Ruby Rose, is an Australian model, DJ, actress, television presenter, MTV VJ and recording artist, and a Maybelline NY model in Australia. Rose was born to a 20-year-old single mother, Katia Langenheim an artist, whom she now describes as one of her role-models. Ruby Rose first gained attention when she joined in 2002 Girlfriend model search, which she came in second to Catherine McNeil, whom she was later engaged to be married. However, their relationship ended and broke up. At age 12, Ruby Rose came out as gay. And because of her sexuality she suffered from verbal insults, mocked, and physical abuse from her schoolmates, that led her to be hospitalized when she was 16. Rose has also been in a relationship with Lola Van Vorst, an ANTM contestant, and was also briefly engaged to model Lyndsey Anne McMillan, and has plan to marry but ended their relationship in late 2009. In late 2009, After breaking up with Lyndsey Anne, she was seen kissing Australian supermodel, Catherine McNeil, during a pool party in Los Angeles, and became engaged in 2010. However, on July 2, 2010, Rose and McNeil called off their engagement. Ruby Rose has extensive tattoos which she showed off in a photo spread for Maxim Australia and PETA, as part of the campaign, I’d Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur. Rose announced on March 18, 2014, that she was engaged to Phoebe Dahl, granddaughter of author Roald Dah, and cousin of model Sophie Dahl. On 22 July 2014, Rose came out as genderfluid or gender identity, stating, “I am very gender fluid and feel more like I wake up every day sort of gender neutral.”. Ruby Rose made this announcement after a week she released a short film called Break Free, in which she visually transitions from a feminine woman to a tattooed man. Rose also stated that she prefers to continue using pronouns of a she or her.

  5)  Lance Bass

James Lance Bass  age 35,  is an American pop singer, dancer, actor, film and television producer, and author. Bass was raised in Mississippi, and came to fame as the bass singer for NSYNC, the American pop boy band, and the band’s success led Bass to work in film and television. James Bass starred in the On the Line film in 2001, produced by Bacon & Eggs company whom Bass owned, James Bass revealed in July 2006, that he is gay in a People magazine’s cover story. Bass was born in Laurel, Mississippi medical technologist father, James Irvin Bass, Jr. and Diane Pulliam Bass, a middle school mathematics, English, and career discovery teacher. Bass received a call in 1995, during his junior high school, from Justin Timberlake and his mother, Lynn Harless, who asked Bass if he would be interested to audition for the pop group NSYNC after Jason Galasso, the group’s original bass singer, had quit.The boy band group announced in 2002, that they would be taking a break, when Justin Timberlake began recording solo material, while the NSYNC has not recorded new material, and Bass stated that he feels the group has disbanded. However, in 2004, Timberlake decided to pursue his solo career, and Bass felt betrayed by Timberlake, but then Bass stated, that he is happy for Justin Timberlake, and remained as his great friend. Bass also played as Rick Palmer, as a guest star on the WB’s 7th Heaven drama series, as a love interest for Lucy, the character played by Beverly Mitchell. In 2001, Bass starred in his first starring role in the  motion picture On The Line, playing the role as  Kevin, a man who falls in love with a woman on a Chicago train and begins a search to find her again. The film was produced by production company owned by Bass, A Happy Place (but was later renamed Bacon & Eggs), and featured appearances by Jerry Stiller, Al Green, Richie Sambora (Bon Jovi‘s  guitarist), Chyna former WWE wrestler, and  later includes his bandmates Justin Timberlake, Kirkpatrick and Joey Fatone, the latter in a major role. The said film also featuring a soundtrack of  unreleased songs by NSYNC and singer, Britney Spears. James Bass collaborated with Joey Fatone, Mandy Moore, Christian Burns and True Vibe (as the film’s On The Line theme song,On The Line Allstars). Bass was a contestant on Dancing with the Stars Season 7, and was paired with Lacey Schwimmer, a swing dance champ, and the duo, Bass and Schwimmer reached the grand finale in competition with Brooke Burke and partner Derek Hough, and Warren Sapp with partner Kym Johnson. Bass finished in third place with the title going to Brooke Burke. In 1999 until 2000, Bass dated actress Danielle Fishel of television show Boy Meets World. Fishel stated that she was so in love with Bass, but their relationship ended after a year, and continued dating, as predated media speculation, one named Jesse a native of Miami, Florida, with whom Bass lived for two years, and another with Joe, a native of Idaho. In early 2006, Bass began dating Reichen Lehmkuhl an Amazing Race winner, a relationship garnering overage over the tabloid, that led Bass to decide to come out, and described his relationship very stable with Lehmkuhl, however, the couple split several months later. Bass briefly dated Pedro Andrade, Brazilian model and LXTV host shortly after his split with Lehmkuhl.  From August 2007 to March 2008, Bass dated New York-based hairdresser Ben Thigpen. Bass became engaged to American painter of Pop Art portraits, Michael Turchin in September 2013, after a year and a half of dating. On December 20, 2014, Bass and Turchin married in Los Angeles. Bass stated that he has Attention-Deficit Disorder (ADD) in an interview in 2006, and on July 26, 2006, Lance  Bass came out as gay in a cover story for People magazine.

6)  Reichen Lehmkuhl

Reichen Lehmkuhl born Richard Allen Lehmkuhl; is an American reality show winner, model, occasional actor, and former officer of the United States Air Force. Lehmkuhl is best known for the reality game show winner of season four The Amazing Race, with his then- partner Chip Arndt, and for his much publicized relationship with Lance Bass, pop singer of the group NSYNC in 2006. Reichen Lehmkuhl’s father is a policeman while his mother is a nurse, and at the age of five, his parents divorced, then his family moved to Norton, Massachusetts. His mother remarried. Richard changed his first name legally from to Reichen around 2002. Lehmkuhl is a graduate from the United States Air Force Academy, and has since an advocate for gay rights in the military as a Servicemembers Legal Defense Network’s spokesperson working simultaneously as a physics teacher at Crossroads School for the Arts and Sciences, flight instructor and model in LA. During this time, he was approached by a casting director for the reality show The Amazing Race, and Lehmkuhl was partnered with Chip Arndt as a couple during the competition, but have since broke up. Shortly after he won The Amzing Race competition,Lehmkuhl moved to Dallas, Texas.But before all episodes had been broadcast. Lehmkuhl’s habits of spending during that time, speculation spread that he had won The Amazing Race (this was before all episodes had been broadcast) and that he had split up with Chip  Arndt. During the show, The couple, Reichen and Chip, was typically described as married, used to describe the relationship between team members in the subtitles (or other teams being, such as Best Friends or  Father-Daughter team). The American premium television network LGBT-interest television network Here TV announced on May 1, 2007, that Lehmkuhl had joined the casting of its original gothic soap opera, for the third season, Dante’s Cove, playing the role of Trevor. Reichen Lehmkuhl owned Flying Naked, a jewelry line composed of flight-themed jewelry made of titanium steel, where the collection items are sold from loveandpride.com, and a percentage of each sale is given to the Servicemembers Legal Defense Network. On May 5 to July 24, 2010, Lehmkuhl starred in an off-Broadway production’s My Big Gay Italian Wedding in New York City. Former band ‘N Sync member, Lance Bass, told People Magazine that he is gay on July 2006, stating he is in a very stable relationship with Lehmkuhl. In January 2007, their relationship ended and according to Bass they remained good friends. At the beginning of the series, Rodiney Santiago, a model from Brazil, became Lehmkuhl’s boyfriend. Rodiney Santiago is bisexual and his relationship with Lehmkuhl is his second with a man.

7)  Anderson Cooper

Anderson Hays Cooper is an American journalist, author, and television personality, primary anchor of the CNN‘s news show Anderson Cooper 360°, is usually broadcast live from a New York City studio, however, Cooper often broadcasts breaking news stories live on location. He also hosted his own eponymous syndicated daytime talk show, Anderson Live from September 2011 to May 2013. Anderson Cooper was born in New York City, the younger son of writer Wyatt Emory Cooper, (September 1, 1927 – January 5, 1978) and Gloria Vanderbilt, the artist, designer, writer, and heiress. On December 24, 1963, Gloria Vanderbilt married her fourth husband, author Wyatt Emory Cooper, and together they had two sons, Carter Vanderbilt Cooper (born January 27, 1965 – died July 22, 1988) and CNN news anchor Anderson Hays Cooper (born June 3, 1967). His father, Wyatt Cooper died at age 5o, suffering from series of heart attacks, while undergoing open-heart surgery on January 5, 1978 in New York City. His older brother, Carter Cooper committed suicide at the age of 23 by jumping from the family’s 14th-floor terrace of the Vanderbilt’s penthouse apartment. Anderson Cooper was photographed as a baby by Diane Arbus for Harper’s Bazaar,  an American women’s fashion magazine. On September 17, 1970, Anderson Cooper was a guest with his mother, Gloria, on The Tonight Show, at age three, and also appeared on To Tell the Truth at the age of nine, as an impostor. Cooper became a model from age 10 to 13, with Ford Models  for Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein and Macy’s. Gloria Vanderbilt wrote about the death of her son in the book A Mother’s Story, expressing her belief that the suicide was caused by a psychotic episode induced by an allergy reaction to salbutamol, the anti- asthma prescription medication. Anderson sparks his interest in journalism, citing his brother, Carter’s suicide. In the early 1990, Anderson Cooper took a break from reporting from Burma, and lives in Vietnam for a year, which was his first correspondence work, during that time Cooper  studied at the University of Hanoi to take up and learn Vietnamese language. Cooper persuaded Channel One to allow him to bring a Hi-8 camera, and soon began filming and assembling reports of Vietnamese life and culture that aired on Channel One. Cooper returned to gather and filmed variety stories from regions affected by wars in the world such as Somalia, Bosnia and the horrors of the Rwandan Genocide in Rwanda. Cooper began hosting the Planet in Peril documentary in October 2007, with American neurosurgeon, Sanjay Gupta, MD and host and executive producer of Animal Planets, Jeff Corwin on CNN. Cooper, Gupta, and American journalist and writer, Lisa Ling  from National Geographic Explorer teamed up for a sequel, Planet in Peril: Battle Lines, which premiered in December 2008. He also began hosting CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute, in 2007, a show honoring and recognizing ordinary people doing extraordinary deeds. In September 2010, the corporate sisters of CNN, Warner Bros. and Telepictures announced that Anderson Cooper had signed an agreement to host a national syndicated daytime talk show, which premiered on September 12, 2011, named Anderson, now titled Anderson Live. Cooper was heard as the voice of the narrator for the 2011 Broadway revival of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, directed by Rob Ashford and starred by actor Daniel Radcliffe. Cooper has two older half-brothers from his mother’s first marriage to conductor Leopold Stokowski, brothers, Leopold Stanislaus “Stan” Stokowski (born 1950), and Christopher Stokowski (born 1952). While promoting his book, Copper told Oprah Winfrey, that as a child, he suffered from dyslexia, and he also confirmed his dyslexia to Jay Leno (who also had dyslexia), on The Tonight Show. According to The New York Times, Anderson Cooper is openly gay, and the most prominent journalist who are openly gay, on American television. Anderson Cooper avoided discussing about his private life in interviews for years, however, he allowed Andrew Sullivan to publish an email stating,”The fact is, I’m gay, always have been, always will be, and I couldn’t be any more happy, comfortable with myself, and proud”. Cooper and his boyfriend, Benjamin Maisani, a gay bar owner, have been dating since 2009. In July 2011, Cooper considered coming out to the public when same-sex marriage became legal in New York.

8)  Andy Bell

Andrew Ivan “Andy” Bell is the lead singer of the Erasure an English synthpop duo, and known for his solo albums Non- Stop and Electric Blue. Andy Bell was raised in the Dogsthorpe area in Peterborough, though his family stile lives in the city surrounding areas such as Market Deeping (a market town in the South Kesteven district of Lincolnshire, England, on the north bank of the River Welland and the A15 road). While selling women’s shoes, in 1985, he responded to a newspaper ads that was looking for a singer. He was chosen by English synthpop musician and songwriter Vince Clarke and together they formed the band group Erasure. On September 26, 2005, his first single, Crazy, was released including club remixes from Vince Clarke, his Erasure partner and the Cicada, and on October 3, 2005, his album Electric Blue was released. On June 7, 2010, Bell released his second solo album, Non-Stop, was co-written and co-produced by Bell and Pascal Gabriel, who previously remixed It Doesn’t Have to Be for Erasure, and also featuring a collaboration with Perry Farrell. Andy Bell is openly gay, and in a relationship with his longtime partner, Paul M. Hickey. Bell publicly announced on December 17, 2004,  that he was a HIV-positive since 1998. Andy Bell remarked in a 2007 interview that an instance of usually unaware  exists among gay men about HIV.  Bell suffers from avascular necrosis, unrelated to HIV, and had both hips replaced. Avascular necrosis (AVN)  is cellular death (called necrosis) of bone components due to interruption of the blood supply, and without blood, the bone tissue dies and the bone collapses, and if avascular necrosis affected the joint’s bones, it often leads to joint articular surfaces destruction. Bell said this keeps him from dancing pogo around (a dance in which the dancers jump up and down) in more recent performances. On April 11, 2012, Paul Hickey died at the age of 62.

9)  Barry Manilow

Barry Manilow born Barry Alan Pincus, in Brooklyn, New York, is an American singer, songriter and producer, and he is best known for his hit albums Mandy, Can’t Smile Without You, Copacabana (At the Copa), This One’s For You, Tryin’ to Get the Feeling and One Voice. Manilow is also known for producing and arranging albums for other artists, such as Bette Midler and Dionne Warwick, and has written songs for musicals, films, and commercials. Barry Manilow has sold more than 80 million records in the world and he became one of the world’s best-selling artists of all time. Manilow was born to Edna Manilow whose family is a Jewish, and Harold Pincus, his father, whose original surname was Keliher, was born of Irish-American and distant Jewish descent. During Manilow’s bar mitzvah, he adopted his mother’s maiden name, Manilow. In 1974, with the release of his second album, on Bell Records, the Barry Manilow II, and reissued on Arista, which contained the breakthrough number-one hit song, Mandy, was the beginning of a string of hit singles and albums that lasted from the 1970′s until 1980′s. Manilow go through a photorefractive keratectomy eye surgery on one of his eyes in March 1996, and on July 29, 2003, Manilow had a complete upper and lower facelift, including the removal of drooping eyelid’s skin and the tightening of facial skin. After the facelift surgery, Manilow was photographed with what looked like a surgical wrap under his chin while leaving a the clinic of a plastic surgeon, wearing a disguise of dark glasses and a blonde wig in the streets of Beverly Hills, California in an effort to not be recognized by the public. In 1964, Manilow was first married to Susan Deixter, but their marriage was annulled on January 6, 1966. 10)  Wentworth Miller 

Wentworth Earl Miller III  is an American actor, model, screenwriter and producer, and rose to fame after he played the role as Michael Scofield in the Fox television series, Prison Break, for which he received a nomination for best actor in a leading role  at the Golden Globe Award. In 2013, Miller made his screenwriting debut with the thriller film Stoker. Born in Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire to American parents Joy Marie Palm-Miller, a special education teacher, and Wentworth Earl Miller II, a lawyer and teacher, a Rhodes Scholar, studying at Oxford during Miller’s birth. His father is Afrian-American, Jamaican, English, German, Jewish and Cherokee ancestry while his mother is Russian, French, Dutch, Syrian, Lebanese and Sweish ancestry that makes Miller a multiethnic. Miller was a year old when his family moved to Park Slope, Brooklyn, then later moved to Aleppo Township, Pennsylvania. Miller relocated to Los Angeles in 1995, to pursue an acting career, and his first appearance on television  was in 1998, as Gage Petronzi, a student-turned-sea monster on Buffy the Vampire Slayer in an episode Go Fish” is episode 20 of season two. In 2002, Miller’s first starring role was in Dinotopia, an ABC’s mini-series playing the role   as the sensitive, introverted David Scott, then in 2003, Miller appeared as co-star in the film The Human Stain, playing the character of Anthony Hopkins’ younger version, Coleman Silk.  In 2005, Miller was cast as Michael Scofield in Fox Network’s television drama series, Prison Break, .playing the role as a caring brother who created an elaborate scheme to help his brother, Lincoln Burrows played by Dominic Purcell, escape death row after he was found guilty of a crime he did not commit. Miller’s character had a full body covered tattoos, fro his torso, his back, both arms from shoulders to wrists, which the special effects for the tattoo was applied four hours to cover his body. Miller also appeared as a party guest in two Mariah Carey music videos, It’s Like That and as Mariah’s love interest in We Belong Together. Miller also appeared as guest-star, as Detective Nate Kendall, in the Season 11 premiere of Law and Order: Special Victims Unit, a detective from the NYPD Precinct 24. Miller was also featured in the 4th film in the successful Resident Evil film series episode, Resident Evil: Afterlife, based on the video game series of the same name, which Miller played as Chris Redfield, one of the protagonists of the video game series. Miller wrote the screenplay for the Stoker film using the pseudonym Ted Foulke, as well as the Stoker, Uncle Charlie  prequel. Miller currently resides in Los Angeles, California. Miller holds a dual British and US citizenship through his birth in the United Kingdom and having both American parents. Miller has two sisters, Leigh and Gillian. Miller denied to InStyle magazine that he was gay in 2007. However, in August 2013, Miller came out as gay, after he posted a letter on GLAAD (formerly the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) website and declined an invitation to attend the Saint Petersburg Film Festival, because Miller felt “deeply troubled” by how the Russian government treats their gay citizens, (referring to anti-LGBT legislation to make into law last June, and banned propaganda of nontraditional sexual relations). Miller said at the 2013 Human Rights Campaign dinner, that as a teenager, he had attempted suicide many times before coming out as gay, and also stated, that he was struggling as a closeted actor in Hollywood, and talked about how his involvement in the ManKind Project, helped him learn about brotherhood, sisterhood, and being part of a community. Over the years Miller’s sexuality has come into question and rumors began to spread about dating his fellow actor Luke Macfarlane, sometime in 2007, buet the relationship was never confirmed by both parties.

Luke Macfarlane born Thomas Luke Macfarlane born in London, Ontario, is a Canadian actor an musician. Thomas Macfarlane, his late father, was the Director of Student Health Services at the University of Western Ontario, while his mother, Penny Macfarlane, is a mental health nurse at a London hospital. Luke ha a twin sister, Ruth and an older sister, Rebecca. Macfarlane is best known for his role as Scotty Wandell on ABC’s television show, Brothers & Sisters, as husband to Kevin Walker (played by actor Matthew Rhys), as one of the brothers of the series. His previous roles is in 2005′s as PV2 Frank “Dim” Dumphy on FX series Over There. Macfarlane also played opposite Sex and the City actress Cynthia Nixon in Tanner on Tanner a Robert Alman’s miniseries on the Sundance Channel. Luke Macfarlane played the lead role of Jason Howell in the Canadian sitcom Satisfaction in 2013. On April 15, 2008, during an interview with The Globe and Mail, Macfarlane came out as gay.

John Scot Barrowman MBE,  is a Scottish-American actor, singer, dancer, presenter and writer who holds both British and American citizenship. Barrowman is born in Glasgow,Scotland, and in 1975, their family emigrated to the United States. Barrowman has played lead roles in various musicals both in the West End and on Broadway, since his debut in theater, such as Miss Saigon, The Phantom of the Opera, Sunset Boulevard and Matador. Barrowman was nominated for the 1998 Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actor in a Musical after he appeared in The Fix in a Sam Mendes production, and returned to the role of Billy Crocker in the revival of Anything Goes in early 2000. Barrowman is the youngest of three siblings, and his  mother was a singer and worked as a clerk in a record store, while his father was employed by the Caterpillar heavy machinery company in Uddingston, but later the company relocated the Barrowman family to the United States, where his father managed the Caterpillar tractor factory in Aurora, Illinois. In 1989, Barrowman began his acting career in London’s West End , playing the role of Billy Crocker in Cole Porter’s Anything Goes at the Prince Edward Theater, alongside Elaine Paige as Reno Sweeney and Bernard Cribbins as Moonface Martin. Barrowman signed up to host This Morning in 2012, and became a regular host in the BBC One game show, Pressured Pad in 2013, and hosted Superstar Dogs: Countdown to Crufts show on Channel 4, which began airing on February 17, 2014. In the 2010 season of Desperate Housewives Barrowman appeared for a five episodes according to Entertainment Weekly, playing the role as Patrick Logan, the ex-boyfriend at the center of the Angie Bolen ( played by Drea de Matteo) mystery. Barrowman portrays Malcolm Merlyn in a television series Arow in 2012, one of the series main antagonists. In January and February 2006, Barrowman appeared in the reality television series Dancing on Ice on ITV1, similar to a real ice skating competition, with ice dancers Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean trained celebrities to compete on the show. Barrowman’s skating partner was Olga Sharutenko, World Junior Gold Medalist and three-time Russian champion. On February 4, Barrowman and Sharutenko competed with Stefan Booth and Kristina Lenko in the skate off and were eliminated by the judges’ by a vote of 3 to 2. In 2010, he was one of five celebrity guests on the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special, with his partner professional dancer Kristina Rihanoff, and both achieved the top score and also first place when the audience vote had been counted, after they danced the Quickstep. He is also best known for his role as Doctor Who in the UK. Barrowman is featured as recurring guest character Captain Jack Harness, an omnisexual time traveler from the 51st century in 2005 as revival of the series. He first appeared as Harkness was in the two-part story The Empty Child/ The Doctor Dances, and he continued to appear in the next three episodes, Boom Town, Bad Wolf and The Parting of the Ways. When Barrowman moved to Unites States, he learned an American accent, after school children picked on his Scottish accent. Barrowman is openly gay, he met his husband, Scott Gill, in 1993 during a production of Rope at the Chichester Festival Theater, after Gill came to see Barrowman in the play. On December 27, 2006, Barrowman and Gill entered into a civil partnership held in Cardiff with friends and family.On July 2, 2013, Barrowman and Gill were legally married in the state of California following the decision of the United States Supreme Court to deny as appeal to overturning California Proposition 8 in Hollingsworth v. Perry. The couple have houses in London, England, Cardiff, Wales and Palm Springs, California. Scott Gill born Sheridan Scott Robert Gill has been married to John Barrowman since July 2013.

William Bruce Jenner is an American former track and field athlete and television personality, came to fame during the 1976 Summer Olympics held in Montreal, and he won the gold medal in the decathlon. Bruce Jenner starred in several made-for-TV movies and replaced briefly actor Erik Estrada on the TV series CHiPs. He also starred in the comedy, in 1980 film Can’t Stop the Music the disco-era Village People comedy.  Bruce Jenner born William Bruce in Mount Kisco, New York, to parents Esther R. McGuire-Jenner and father William Hugh Jenner, a tree surgeon. Jenner has two sisters, Lisa and Pam and a younger brother, Burt, who was killed in a car accident in Canton, Connecticut, after Bruce won at the Olympics. As a young child, Bruce was diagnosed with dyslexia. From 1972 to 1981, Bruce first marriage was with Chrystie Crownover, and together they have two children, son Burt and daughter Cassandra, known as Casey. In 1981, Jenner and Crownover’s divorce was finalized. On January 5, 1981, on that same week, Jenner married his second wife, actress Linda Thompson, at the Oahu, Hawaii. By February 1986, Jenner and Thompson had separated, by February 1986, and they subsequently divorced. Together they have two actor sons, Brandon and Sam Brody, which both actors starred on the reality show The Princess of Malibu. On April 21,1991, Bruce Jenner married his third wife,Kris Houghton Kardashian, after five months of dating. In September 2014, Kris filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences, and their divorce terms were finalized in December 2014 and went into effect on March 23, 2015, due to a six-month state legal requirement. In 2015, following the divorce, Bruce Jenner came out  as a trans woman though stile he prefers male pronouns until his transition’s complete. In February 2015, Jenner was involved in a multiple-vehicle collision, on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, California, causing one death, and eight others were injured. Bruce Jenner was able to walk away from the accident. In an interview with Diane Sawyer in April 24, 2015 20/20 show, Jenner shared that he is a trans woman and has dealt since his younger days  with gender dysphoria. Bruce Jenner said that “for all intents and purposes, I’m a woman.” Bruce Jenner has experimented with cross derssing (wearing clothing of the opposite gender) for many years and in the 1980′s, he began a physical transition with hormone replacement therapy, but quit the therapy after meeting Kris Kardashian in the 1990′s. Jenner prefers to be seen as male until he reveals publicly, his feminine side, and plans to share his new name when he is in fully transitions, although he referred to himself as her and calling his emerging identity as she. He also stated that he has never been attracted to men and has always been heterosexual, but currently identifies as asexual, (is the lack of sexual attraction to anyone, or low interest in sexual activity). Jenner’s announcement came at an unprecedented time for trans visibility, including legislative initiatives.

13)   Lana Wachowski 

Lana Wachowski was born Laurence Wachowski born in June 21, 1965 in Chicago, best known as Larry, and his brother, Andrew Paul “Andy” Wachowski (born December 29, 1967), professionally known together as the Wachowskis and formerly as the Wachowski Brothers, are American film directors, screenwriters and producers. Larry and Andy Wachowski’s mother mother, Lynne Luckinbill, was a nurse and painter, while their father, Ron Wachowski, a businessman of Polish Jewish descent. Actor Laurence Luckinbill is their mother’s brother and their maternal uncle. Larry and Andy have two sisters, Julie and Laura. Julie Wachowski is a novelist and screenwriter, and was acknowledge as assistant coordinator in the Wachowskis’ film Bound, which was Wachowski brothers first director job in 1996.and came to fame with their second blockbuster film in 1999, The Matrix, winning the Saturn Award for Best Director. In 2003, Larry and Andy Wachowski wrote and directed its two sequels The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions, and were involved in the writing and production of other works in the franchise. Since 1991, Andy Wachowski has been married to Alisa Blasingame. In 1993, Lana Wachowski is a vegetarian,(or formerly Larry) married Thea Bloom ended up in divorced in 2002. Lana or Larry Wachowski, began dating Karin Winslow and they married in 2009. Karin Winslow is a board member of the Chicago House and Social Service Agency. Lana is a vegetarian.In 2000, rumors spread, that Lana Wachowski was transitioning as transgender, though Larry and Andy, neither spoke directly about this matter and remained silent, and close to the siblings denied the rumors. Larry, now known as Lana, completed the transition after the 2008′s film Speed Racer was release according to Rovi Corporation. Lana Wachowski is the first major director to come out as transgender in Hollywood. The Wachowskis duo was referred as Andy and Lana (formerly Larry) Wachowski, by Deadline.com, The Hollywood Reporter and the New York Times. Lana’s name appears on some documents as Laurenca Wachowski.After her transitioning, Lana made her first public appearance in July 2012, in a video discussing the creative process behind Cloud Atlas, a 2012 science fiction film written and directed by Lana Wachowski, Tom Tykwer and Andy Wachowski. The Wachowskis tried to avoid the public eye and avoided giving interviews because of fear of losing their personal privacy, and feared that they would never be able to go to restaurants publicly without being noticed and harassed as celebrities. Lana began explained of being silent why she and brother Andy had not publicly commented on rumors for almost a decade about her transitioning, not because she was ashamed about it, nor had kept it a secret from her family and friends, but due to overall shyness about the news media that both Lana and her brother Andy possess. Lana and brother Andy are self-proclaimed gamers, and spent their weekends in the attic playing Dungeons & Dragons as teenagers. Andy is also an avid player of the Death Jr. PlayStation Portable game.

Adam Mitchel Lambert  born in Indianapolis, Indiana, grew up in San Diego, California, is an American singer, songwriter, and stage actor. As a child, Lambert performed in amateur theatrical productions,until his  adulthood, appearing in professional productions in the U.S. and abroad. Lambert came to fame in 2009, after he became the runner-up on the 8th season of American Idol. Lambert is best known for his flamboyant, theatrical and androgynous performance style, multi-octave range and a powerful, tenor voice. Lambert’s singing style signature is his showmanship and commanding presence in live shows, and has received numerous awards and nominations, such as Best Male Pop Vocal performance in 2011′s Grammy Award nomination and in 2013, an HonoraryGLAAD Media Awards. As of January 2011, sold 4.3 million singles in the world, and in April 2012 his first album had sold nearly two million copies in the world, and credited ny The Times as the first openly gay pop artists in the mainstream to launch a career on a major label in the U.S. Lambert was born to mother Leila, an interior designer, and father Eber Lambert, a program manager for Novatel Wireless, and Adam has a younger brother, Neil. Adam Lambert was in a relationship with Sauli Koskinen, a Finnish entertainment reporter and reality TV personality, (winner of 2007 Big Brother, and beat other nineteen contestants in a public vote over 14 weeks). Lambert and Koskinen announced that they broke up amicable from their long term relationship, (from November 2010 until April 2013) and expected to remain friends.

15)  Chad Allen

Chad Allen  is an American actor, and at age 7, he started his acting career as a child actor, and in the late 1980′s, he became a teen idol, as David Witherspoon on Our House, the NBC’s family drama and as Zach Nichols on My Two Dads sitcom on NBC, before transitioning to an adult career as Matthew Cooper on Dr. Quinn: Medicine Woman, the CBS western drama. In April 2015, Chad Allen announced his retirement from acting, because he plans to become a clinical psychologist. Allen was born Chad Allen Lazzari in Cerritos, California, was raised in Artesia. Allen has a twin sister, Charity. He is of Italian and Germans descent, and was raised in a strict Roman Catholic family. Chad Allen has guest-starred on several prime time series such in Airworlf episode for which he was nominated at the 6th Youth in Film Awards as ‘Best Young Actor: Guest in a Series’and played as Tommy Westphall, an autistic child, in St. Elsewhere series in 1983 to 1988. The US tabloid, The Globe published photos of Chad Allen, who at that time was age 21, kissing a man in a hot tub at a party in 1996, and he was outed as gay. The controversial photos were sold by someone who claimed to be the couple’s friend, and became since a LGBT community activist. In 2006, Allen was cast as Nate Saint, a real-life Christian missionary in the End of the Spear docudrama, which some conservative Christians attack verbally at producers for casting an openly gay man in the missionary role. Allen also developed, produced and starred in the 2007 film Save Me, which was directed by Robert Cary and written by Robert Desiderio. The film  Save Me, is a film exploring the ex-gay movement, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2007 and was later picked up by independent studio for distribution. Allen portrayed the love interest of Dr. Kyle Julian for five episodes of the prime time SOAPnet series General Hospital: Night Shift, an ABC Daytime soap opera spin off General Hospital in September 23, 2008. The Los Angeles Daily News wrote in passing, in November 2006, about Chad Allen’s real-life boyfriend was Jeremy Glazer, who also appeared in the Save Me film. Allen stated in an interview with Out.com in September 2008, that he was currently in a three-year relationship and had been sober for eight years. According to AfterElton.com report, Allen’s boyfriend is Jeremy Glazer in October 2008. Allen was the recipient of a GLAAD Media Award: the Davidson/Valentini Award,  in May 2009, in his acceptance speech he stated he met his partner, Glazer, exactly four years earlier.

Jeremy Glazer  is an American actor, best known for his roles in the Letters From Iwo Jima and Save Me. Glazer balanced his work and performances in big-budget blockbusters, independent films, theater and with guest appearances on television shows as CSI:NY, Desperate Housewives, Castle, and In Plain Sight. Glazer was born and grew up in Huntington Station, New York on Long Island, in a Jewish family with his older brother, Daniel Glazer, a former talent agent and now successful New York’s commercial real estate broker. Born to parents, Roger Glazer and mother, Evelyn Cohen-Glazer, both retired teachers in health and physical education high school. Glazer first worked as a production assistant at Paramount Pictures, television shows such as The Trouble With Normal, Spring Break Lawyer and Men, Women and Dogs. Glazer then pursue his acting career. Greg Hernandez wrote in The Los Angeles Daily News in November 2006 in his column, Out in Hollywood, that Glazer was the real-life boyfriend of actor Chad Allen which both actors appeared in the film Save Me. Clayton Holmes ”Clay“ Aiken is an American singer, songwriter, television personality, actor, author, politician and activist. In 2014, Aiken was a nominee for Democratic in the North Carolina 2nd congressional district election. Aiken came to fame after placing second on the American Idol season two in 2003, where the winner declared was Ruben Studdard, who are both offered recording contracts by RCA Records, and on October 2003, his multi-platinum debut album Measure of a Man was released, and another four more albums were released on the RCA label, in 2004 album Merry Christmas with Love, A Thousand Different Ways in 2006 and the Christmas EP, All is Well also in 2006. Singer Enrique Iglesias, co-written Aiken’s song, The Way. In January 2008, Aiken played the role as Sir Robin in Monty Phyton’s Sapamalot as his Broadway debut, which his run ended in May but again he joined the cast playing Sir Robin again until January 4, 2009. Aiken announced in 2014, that he has intentions to run for Congress in North Carolina’s 2nd congressional district, and on May 6, 2014, he won the Democratic primary, however he lost to Republican incumbent Renee Ellmers in the general election on November 4, 2014. Aiken announced, on August 8, 2008, on his personal blog, the birth of his son, Parker Foster Aiken, in North Carolina, and the baby’s mother, Jaymes Foster, is the sister of record producer David Foster, Executive Producer of Aiken’s last three albums under RCA label. He was born to mother, is Faye Aiken Parker, and biological father Vernon Grissom who died in February 27, 2004. Aiken has step brother Jeff Parker, step-sister Amy and a half-brother, Brett. Aiken’s late step-father, Ray Parker died on July 4, 2002. Aiken’s middle name came from the maiden name of his paternal grandmother, so Aiken and Foster used the married surnames of their mothers to name their son, Parker Foster Aiken. After several years of public speculation, In a September 2008 interview with People magazine, Aiken came out as gay after public speculation for several years. Aiken went to Wahington, D.C. on November 18, 2010, on behalf of Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN) at a Capitol Hill, talking, briefing about anti-gay bullying.

17) Ricky Martin

Ricky Martin born Enrique Martín Morales, born in San Juan, Puerto, Rico, is a Puerto Rican singer, songwriter, actor, and author. After Martin achieved a little fame in Puerto Rico for his work in TV commercials, he auditioned for membership in Menudo, a Puerto Rican boy band. At the age of 12, Ricky Martin began his career with the all-boy pop group Menudo, and released his solo albums in Spanish language throughout the 1990′s, after five years with the boy pop group. Martin become a modest actor in Mexico when he has also acted on stage and on TV. Martin starred on the American TV soap opera General Hospital in 1994, playing as a Puerto Rican singer, Miguel Morez. Following its success, Martin released Livin’ la Vida Loca, after the success of the soap opera, which helped him obtain success and fame internationally and is seen as the Latin pop song explosion began in 1999 and made it easier for other Spanish-speaking artists to move into the entertainment English-speaking market. Since its release, the song has sold over 8 million copies, Martin was born to Nereida Morales, an accountant, and Enrique Martín Negroni, a psychologist. Martin was two years old when his parents divorced and Martin spent much of his childhood, moving between his father’s home in the University Gardens’ suburbs and the house of his paternal grandmother nearby. Ricky Martin has two maternal half-brothers, Fernando and Ángel Fernández, and two paternal half-brothers, Eric and Daniel Martín, and a paternal half-sister Vanessa Martín. Ricky Martin is distinguished as a sex symbol , but began struggling with his sexuality, and his own emotions. Martin’s agent encouraged him in 1994, to move to Los Angeles to act in an American sitcom, Getting By, but the show was canceled after two seasons, and Martin was given the role of singer/bartender Miguel Morez on the soap opera General Hospital. However, Martin has observed that people around him treated him differently due to his Puerto Rican accent and felt that he lacked chemistry with the General Hospital casts. Martin began his first committed relationship with a man during this time, and stopped fearing his sexuality, and soon came out as gay to his mother, who was supportive of him. However, after the relationship ended, Martin locked ”his” feelings after his relationship with the guy ended, and began dating women again. Martin recalled, “I already felt it was hard to be a Latino in Hollywood; what could have been more difficult than being Latino and gay?” Ricky Martin is fondly called by his closed friends and family as Kiki or Quiquito. Martin was in an on-off relationship with Rebecca de Alba, a Mexican TV host for more than 14 years, and even planned to start a family together. Martin became the father of twin boys, Matteo and Valentino, born by a surrogate mother in August 2008. Ricky Martin publicly acknowledge his homosexuality on March 29, 2010, in a post on his official website. Barbara Walters expressed some regret for pushing Martin in an interview in 2000 to admit if he was gay.  In 2011, During Martin’s acceptance speech of the Vito Russo Award at the 2011 22nd GLAAD Media Awards, Martin thanked in public, his boyfriend, Carlos González Abella, an economist, however, in January 2014, the relationship with González Abella ended.

Nathan Jay “Nate” Berkus , born in Orange County, California, grew up in suburban Minneapolis from a Jewish Family, is an American interior designer, author, television host and personality, best known for running  the Chicago interior design firm, Nate Berkus Associates and has been featured as guest on The Oprah Winfrey Show, offering the viewers advice for designs, as well as coordinating surprise home make-overs for homeowners. Berkus has released numbers of lines of products, and has released several books of whom he is the author. The Nate Berkus Show debuted on September 13, 2010 in broadcast syndication, that features make-overs, culture, design, and personal advice. His show was co-produced by Harpo Productions and Sony Pictures Television, however, on May 24, 2012, the show was cancelled and ended. Berkus is openly gay. Nate Berkus is related to architect Barry Berkus, the venture capitalist, musician/artist Gunther Berkus, the Software in the Public Interest, Josh Berkus, casino manager and author Eric David Berkus, and Matt Berkus, western states lawyer. Nate’s mother is Designer Nancy Golden from HGTV and DIY networks, while his father Mike is the co-founder of the National Sports Collectors Convention. Berkus and his partner, photographer Fernando Bengoechea, were on vacation in December 2004, at a beach resort in Sri Lanka, when the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami hit the country. Nate Berkus survived, but his partner, Bengoechea is missing and presumed dead. Berkus talk about this ordeal and the loss of his partner when he appeared on January 17, 2005 on The Oprah Winfrey Show. In April 2013, Berkus became engaged to Jeremiah Brent after dating for almost a year, and married on May 3, 2014 in New York City. Berkus and husband Brent was featured in 2014′s clothier  True Outfitters ads of the brand Banana Republic in InStyle and Rolling Stone, and in other magazines. According to The New York Times, Berkus and Brent, were the first same-sex couple to be featured in magazine’s ads. On March 25, 2015, Berkus announced, the birth of their daughter, Poppy Brent-Berkus, was born March 23. On October 12, 2011, and October 13, 2011, Nate Berkus appeared in an episodes of Days of Our Lives, an American daytime TV soap opera, designing the offices of MadWorld Cosmetics for Madison James, and he is also an executive producer of the The Help 2011 film.

19)  Bill Condon

William “Bill” Condon is an American screenwriter and director,  best known for directing and writing the critically acclaimed the Gods and Monsters, Chicago, Kinsey, Dreamgirls films and the two final installments of the blockbuster film Twilight series, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2. In 1998, The film Gods and Monsters, is Condon’s first film as a screenwriter, which he won his first Academy Award. In 2003, Condon was also nominated for writing Chicago. Condon won a Golden Globe for his film Dreamgirls, in 2006, as screenwriter. Condon was born in New York City, raised in an Irish Catholic family, the son of a detective. Bill Condon is an openly gay and dated Ryan Murphy, previously. It was announced in June 2014, that Condon would direct a live-action film adaptation of Beauty and the Beast. 

20) Ryan Murphy

Ryan Murphy is an American film and TV screenwriter, director and producer, best known for creating and co-creating several television series such as Popular (1999–2001), Nip/Tuck (2003–10), Glee (2009–15), American Horror Story (2011–present), and The New Normal (2012–13). Murphy was raised in Indianapolis, Indiana in an Irish Catholic family. Murphy described his mother as a beauty queen a stay-home mother taking care of her two sons.Murphy stated, that before his mother retired, his mother wrote five books and worked in communications for over 20 years, while his father worked as circulation director in the newspaper industry, before he retired after 30 years. Murphy saw his first therapist, after coming out as gay, who found nothing wrong with him other than being too precocious for his own good. The Fox musical comedy-drama, Glee is one of Murphy’s most successful projects, co-created with Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan, which Fox aired a preview episode on May 19, 2009, following the season finale of American Idol. On September 9, 2009, the show Glee aired its first regular season episode. In 2012, Murphy married photographer David Miller. Murphy and Miller welcomed on December 24, 2012, their first child, a son Logan Phineas, via surrogate.The couple welcomed a second child into their family, son Ford in October 2014. Ryan Murphy was in a long-term relationship previously with director Bill Condon.  

21)  Darryl Stephens

Darryl Joseph Stephens is an American actor, singer-songwriter, best known for playing as Noah Nicholson on Noah’s Arc, the television dramedy. Stephens also appeared on the sexy late-night serial MTV’s Undressed, in That’s Life, the short-lived series and VH1′s Red Eye. Stephens also appeared in several commercials for products such as Dockers and performing in small theater venues and study scene classes. Darryl Stephens appeared in a revival play, Bent in Hollywood playing the role future-funked, Greta. In 2004, his breakout role came, when independent filmmaker Patrick-Ian Polk cast him as the lead character for the new Noah’s Arc series, which the original intention was to be released direct-to-DVD after the show, had received rave reviews at various film festivals. LOGO TV picked up Noah’s Arc in the fall of 2005, which first aired on October 19, and the second season of Noah’s Arc was televised in August 2006. By the end of 2006, Stephens had completed his roles by the end of 2006, in the comedy Another Gay Movie and the Boy Culture drama, which the latter co-starred with newcomer Derek Magyar. In a feature film version was released, in October 2008, Noah’s Arc: Jumping the Broom picks up where the show’s second season left off and describes the story of the marriage between the character of  Stephens and actor Jensen Atwood. Stephens guest starred in 2010, in an episode of  Private Practice, playing a pre-op transgender character, and in 2011, his film Bolden!. was released a bio film about jazz great Buddy Bolden, played by actor Anthony Mackie, while Stephens played the role as Frank Lewis, a cornet player. Darryl Stephens is openly gay, though he is reluctant to discuss his personal life, and his roles is noted on issues of discrimination on the basis of social class and sexuality.

22)  Stephen Gately 

Stephen Patrick David Gately  (March 17, 1976 – October 10, 2009) was an Irish pop singer-songwriter,dancer, actor, and children’s writer, who was one of two lead singers of the pop group Boyzone alongside singer Ronan Keating.  Gately and Keating served as co-frontmen, originally, however, Ronan Keating later, became more synonymous with the group, which all the group’s albums became number one in the UK, and their third album was their most international record successful records. With In 1999, Stephen Gately came out as gay in a blaze of publicity, after that a friend, who was about to sell the details about his sexuality to the media. Upon Boyzone’s reformation, Gately featured as part of the first gay couple in the music video for Better, upon reformation on Boyzone, in what was to be his last performance with the band. In 1993, Gately joined Boyzone upon their formation. Gately suffered from depression and addiction from 2000 to 2002, to prescription drugs. Gately started dating internet businessman, Andrew Cowles, who was introduced to him by mutual friends Elton John and David Furnish. In 2003, Stephen Gately and Andrew Cowles held a commitment ceremony in a Las Vegas wedding chapel while on holiday. Gately entered into a civil partnership ceremony with Cowles on March 19, 2006 in London, and lived together in the village of Highgate in north London. In early October 10, 2009, Stephen Gately died at his home in Port d’ Andratx, Majorca, after his body was discovered later in the morning, in an awkward position, squatting on the sofa, dressed in his pajamas. Gately’s sudden death was later determined to have been caused by a pulmonary edema, resulting from an undiagnosed heart condition. Acccording to police reports, the death was not related to abuse of substances such as drugs or alcohol and no suicide note or signs of violence were found on his body.

23)  Richard Hatch

Richard Hatch  is an American former reality television contestant, winning in the first season of the CBS reality series, Survivor. Hatch was a contestant on All-Stars season of Survivor, and on one season of The Apprentice. In 2006, Hatch was convicted for tax evasion in 2006, and was sentenced in a 3 year prison, followed by another nine month sentence in 2011. In 2013, Hatched was named by TV Guide in its list of The 60 Nastiest Villains of All Time. In 2000, Hatch competed in 2000 Survivor:Borneo, which the first edition of the show is filmed in the United States. Hatch initially competed with the Tagi tribe, and quickly aligned himself with former Navy Seal Rudy Boesch. Richard Hatch  often represent a character  for playing the game completely naked. In the final tribal council, Hatch was accused of being too cocky and evil, and compared him to a snake, and also appeared on Survivor: All-Stars as originally Mogo Mogo tribe, but lost one member when Jenna Morasca the winner of Survivor: The Amazon quit. Mogo Mogo gained two extra members, after Saboga tribe was dissolved, after they lost immunity, they quickly targeted Hatch and he was voted out. Hatch was involved with an incident with member Sue Hawk before Hatch was voted out, during an immunity challenge, when Hatch rubbed his genitals on Hawk as he passed her by on the course, Hatch was usually naked. Hawk quit from the game voluntarily the following day, and claimed that Hatch touching her inappropriately made her upset overwhelmingly. Probst revealed in 2010, that Hatch was considered a strong candidate to return to Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains for the 20th season, as a villain, but due to Hatch’s house arrest during that time he was unable to return to the show. Hatch appeared in the Becker “One Wrong Move” episode, as a patient in a cameo role, where actor Ted Danson‘s character accept him as a patient, discussing about people’s bizarre eating habits on the television show, and mentioned that he didn’t mind taking off his clothes. In 2006, Hatch appeared as himself in the film Another Gay Movie, also appeared on the U.S. version The Apprentice 4th celebrity edition.  Prior to winning CBS’ original Survivor series, Hatch worked as a bartender, auto salesman and licensed real estate agent, and as corporate trainer for almost 15 years, and consultant for his own company, before winning the original series of CBS show Survivor. Hatch was charged with tax evasion after winning the Survivor, and was convicted and served a 51-month sentence in federal prison, but served an additional nine months in prison for not amending his tax returns in 2000 and 2001. Hatch’s property he purchased in Sydney, Nova Scotia, following his win in Survivor, was included in a tax sale during a 2013′s public auction. Hatch had not paid the property taxes on the property for a period of more than six years which was indicated by the CBRM tax office. He is living in Newport, Rhode Island with his partner Emilliano Cabral. He have and adopted son, named Christopher. Richard Hatch is one of the two LGBT contestants winning the game along with other contestant, Todd Herzog.

Todd Herzog

Todd Herzog is a former reality TV personality who became the winner of 2007 Survivor: China, and also the second openly gay male contestant to win Survivor, after Survivor winner Ruchard Hatch. Herzog appeared on the television show Dr. Phil in late 2013, because of alcoholism problem. Todd Herzog was on the cover of December 2007′s issue of Instinct Magazine, subsequent to winning Survivor: China, advertised as the Million Dollar Man. Herzog initially placed on the Fei Long Tribe in Survivor: China. In the early episode, the Fei Long tribe overcame its opponent, Zhan Hu, by winning immunity. During the first few days, Herzog made an alliance with fellow contestants, Amanda Kimmel and Aaron Reisberger. Herzog is a native of Pleasant Grove, Utah. Todd Herzog worked for SkyWest Airlines as a flight attendant before he joined Survivor. Herzog who is openly gay dated Spencer Duhm, contestant of Survivor: Tocantins. During his appearance on the Survivor, Herzog had both American and Canadian citizenship, however he had to renounce his Canadian citizenship for legal reasons, in order to claim his million dollar prize. Herzog was suffering from alcoholism in 2013, and because of this problem, Herzog’s mother contacted the producers of Dr. Phil. Herzog’s fellow Survivor contestants along close friends Courtney Yates and Sandra Diaz-Twine offered support and encouragement to Herzog.

24)  T. R. Knight

Theodore Raymond “T. R.” Knight is an American actor best known for his role on the ABC’s medical drama Grey’s Anatomy as Dr. Goerge O’Malley.  TR Knight acted on stage since five years old, and has has starred on Broadway, off-Broadway and theater productions in his hometown in Minnesota. Knight was cast as Dr. George O’Malley in 2005, in Grey’s Anatomy an ABC medical drama, introduced as a surgical intern at the fictional Seattle Grace Hospital, worked his way up to the level as the hospital’s resident doctor, while his relationships with his colleagues Meredith Grey played by Ellen Pompeo, Cristina Yang played by Sandra Oh, Izzie Stevens played by Katherine Heigl and Alex Karey played by Justin Chambers formed a focal point of the series. When Knight auditioned for the show, he was expecting to appear only in a one-season run. After the conclusion of the fifth season in 2009, it was confirmed that Knight would not be returning for the sicth season show. Knight explained the reason for his departure was due to a breakdown in communication with Shonda Rhimes, the executive producer and head writer of Grey’s Anatomy, because Knight’s character lack of screen time, and also his decision to be openly gay. On October 4, 2009, Knight starred as Leo Frank, in a production of the musical Parade opening at the Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles. In 2010, Knight returned to Broadway playing the role as John, in David Mamet’s A Life in the Theatre, opposite actor, Patrick Stewart, best known as Professor Charles Xavier in the X-Men series. TR Knight married his boyfriend of three years, Patrick Leahy, on October 5, 2013 in Hudson, New York.   

25)  Kevin McDaid

Kevin McDaid is born in Nigeria on March 7, 1984, was brought up and raised in Newcastle, England. McDaid is best known as member of V, the British boy band group, joined in 2003 with four other members of boys. In 2004, the band had three successful chart hits, before he split up from the group in February 2005, after their single was released in less than a year. McDaid posed in an explicit nude photos for the UK-based amateur porn, ladstrip.co.uk website. when he was still unpopular, which in one pictorials he engaged in various sexual acts with another man known as, Ross, whose own solo pictures are still found on the site, and because of his uncertain age (about 17 or 18 years old), during that time the photos were taken, the websites that published those photos were threatened with legal action by his lawyers, after McDaid came into the limelight. The photos taken which showed him in different hot clinches, were posted on a gay internet website under the name of Tight Calvin. McDaid  is now a professional photographer, including his photography in 2009 and 2010, for Westlife’s albums Where We Are and Gravity, along with other artists and models. The Sun newspaper revealed in August 2005 that McDaid is the boyfriend of Westlife member Mark Feehily since 2005, and on January 28, 2010, they got engaged and Feehily confirmed the news via Twitter. They own a pet pug named Saffy and French bulldog named Nullah. Feehily announced on December 31, 2011 via Twitter that he and McDaid had split after seven years together.

26)  Markus Feehily

Markus Michael Patrick Feehily  is an Irish singer and songwriter, known as one of the three lead singers of the boy band Westlife, along with Shane Filan and Brian McFadden as the two lead vocals. Shane Filan, Kian Egan and Feehily were members of the band IOYOU with single released, Together Girl Forever, before joining Westlife. On July 3, 1998, the group was established, with the addition of two more members, Nicky Byrne and McFadden, and later Boyzone singer, Ronan Keating, joined the group to co-manage the group with Walsh. During live performances, Feehily also is the co-writer with other band members, of the group and also sang solo for the songs Oh Holy Night, Imaginary Diva, Talk Me Down, Before It’s too Late and Il Adore by Boy George. Following an incident when Feehily got drunk and threw some items from a window of the hotel, and is banned from the Mondrian Hotel in Los Angeles. Feehily stated to The Boston Globe about his embarrassment about the tribute album, for Rat Pack Allow Us to Be Frank, by his group Westlife, he blamed Westlife’s label for forcing them to record it after the successful type of Music by Robbie Willams. Mark Feehily revealed in public that he was gay in August 2005, in an interview with The Sun, British tabloid, and he also announced his romantic relationship with Kevin McDaid, British fashion photographer, a member of the now-defunct British boy band V. Feehily was at age 14 or 15 years old, when he confirmed his sexual orientation, which his family, band mates and close friends were very aware of. However, his Westlife’s manager Louis Walsh, was not aware of his sexual orientation when he began managing the group. Feehily had kept his sexual orientation private and never had a boyfriend as the only gay member in Westlife band, and never discuss his private life in any interviews, though he was dating women before coming out. After Feehily’ coming out as gay, he had been dating and lived together with boyfriend Kevin McDaid since January 2005, after they met at a Cheerios Childline Concert  in Ireland. Feehily stated that although he have no intention on getting married right away, but he is happy to know he could form a civil partnership in Britain with the recent passing of the Civil Partnership Act. In February 2010, which was confirmed by Feehily himself confirmed that he and McDaid is engaged after five years together, via Twitter, the social networking website. However, on December 31, 2011, Feehily announced via his Twitter account that he and Kevin had broke up.

27)  Nathan Lane

Nathan Lane born Joseph Lane, in Jersey City, New Jersey, is an American actor and writer, best known for his roles as Albert in The Birdcage, as Max Bialystock in the musical The Producers, as Ernie Smuntz in MouseHunt, as Nathan Detroit in Guys and Dolls, as Pseudolus in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, provided voice for character Snowbell in Stuart Little and as Timon in The Lion King, and on Modern family in his recurring roles and The Good Wife. Nathan Lane received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2006, and was inducted into the American Theatre Hall of Fame in 2008. Nathan Lane was born Joseph Lane to father, Daniel, a truck driver and an aspiring tenor who died from alcoholism when Lane was eleven. Lane’s mother, Nora, was a housewife and secretary died in 2000, who battled from manic-depression before her death. His parents were both Catholics of Irish descent, and has two older brothers, Daniel Jr. and Robert. Nathan Lane was a part of an all-star casts for Terrence McNally’s revised and updated It’s Only a Play in 2014, alongside actors, F. Murray Abraham, Matthew Broderick, Stockard Channing, Rupert Grint, Megan Mullally, and Micah Stock, and he reprise the role of Hickey in the Robert Falls production of The Iceman Cometh to great acclaim at the Brooklyn Academy of Music in February 2015. Nathan Lane revealed to his mother he was gay, at age 21,and his mother replied, “I would rather you were dead,” After the death of death of Matthew Shepard,  Lane, came out officially, Shepard who has been a long-time board member of and fundraiser for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, and has been honored by the Human Rights Campaign, Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation, and The Trevor Project for his LGBT community work. Nathan Lane currently lives in New York City with long-time partner Devlin Elliott. Lane has received three Daytime Emmy nominations for films George and Martha, Disney’s animation Timon and Pumbaa in 1995 and Disney’s Teacher’s Pet in 2000.

28) Matt“ Dallas

Matthew Joseph ”Matt“ Dallas, born in Phoenix, Arizona, is an American actor, best known for playing the lead role in Kyle XY on the ABC Family series for three seasons after it ended on March 16, 2009. Dallas has also starred in Babysitter Wanted, Living The Dream, Wannabe, Camp Daze, and Way of The Vampire. It was announced in 2009, that Dallas would appear  the Beauty and the Briefcase movie, with actress, Hilary Duff. Matt Dallas also worked in an indie western film playing the role as Bat Masterson, in The First Ride of Wyatt Earp, which was released on March 6, 2012. Dallas announced on January 6, 2013, about his engagement on Twitter to musician boyfriend Blue Hamilton, but no definite date given for their marriage. Blue Hamilton born George Grey, is a former music publishing executive turned singer/songwriter, who worked at Warner Music Group as an executive for about eight years. In 2012, Hamlinton released his first solo extended play (EP) entitled Radio Flyer independently under the name Blue James, thus, his fans call themselves Blue Bells.

29) Jim Kolbe

James Thomas “Jim” Kolbe is a former Republican member of the United States House of Representatives for 1985 to 2003′s Arizona’s 5th congressional district, and 2003 to 2007′s 8th congressional district. Kolbe ran for the Arizona Senate in 1976, in a Tucson-area district and defeated a one-term Democrat, had been elected in the national Democratic wave of 1974. Kolbe served three terms in that body, from 1979 to 1982. In 1992, Jim Kolbe divorced his wife and in August 1996, he came out as gay after his vote in favor of the Defense of Marriage Act, to urge efforts by some gay rights activists to out him, he won re-election that year. Kolbe became the first openly gay person to address the Republican National Convention in 2000, although in his speech Kolbe did not address gay rights. Jim Kolbe was the second openly gay Republican to serve in Congress, the first was Steve Gunderson of Wisconsin. Kolbe was not quite open in his support of same-sex marriage, but very supported with the availability of universal civil unions. Kolbe was a signatory to an amicus curiae brief submitted to the Supreme Court in support of same-sex marriage during the Hollingsworth v. Perry case in 2013. President Barack Obama appointed Kolbe to the Advisory Committee for Trade Policy and Negotiations in September 2010. Jim Kolbe serves currently on the Board of Advisors for International Relief and Development Inc., and also he is a Co-Chairman of the dollar coin alliance. In 2013, Jim Kolbe, former Tucson congressman, plans to marry his partner of eight years, teacher from Panama,Hector Alfonso, on Saturday in Washington, D.C., where same-sex marriage is allowed by law. According to Kolbe, he met Hector Alfonso at a farewell party at his home in Washington, D.C.

30)  Rustom Padilla 

Rustom Cariño Padilla famously known as BB Gandanghari is a Filipino transgender actress, model, entertainer, comedianne, and director. BB Gandanghari is the older sister to Filipino action actor Robin Padilla and younger sister to actor siblings, Royette and Rommel Padilla. Actor Rustom Padllia, came out as trans woman after returning from the United States in January 2009, and changed her name to BB (sometimes spelled Bebe Gandanghari), stating that the person (Rustom Padilla) which the people used to know is already dead. Gandanghari stated in an interview, that the name is derived from the Filipino words Bb. (abbreviation of Binibini, an honorific name which means Miss) and Gandanghari, a portmanteau of the words ganda (beauty) and hari (king), and also added that the Bb. referring to her motto Be’ all that you can ‘be‘. Gandanghari first joined show business as a matinee idol and later became as an action star, and also she was also the presenter of Philippine franchise for ABC5′s Wheel of Fortune. After her hosting jobs, Rustom Padilla left the Philippines and studied filmmaking in the United States. Gandanghari (former Rustom Padilla) was born to Carlos Roy Padilla and Eva Cariño, she has seven siblings, three brothers and four sisters.Before coming out as a trans woman, he is married to actress Carmina Villaroel, however their marriage ended up in annulment in 1994, which was granted in June 2002. Padilla or Gandanghari became one of the 14 housemates in Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition. On March 2, 2006, Gandanghari came out of the closet on the show by telling fellow housemate actress, Keanna Reeves, that she was a gay man. On day 45 of the competition, Gandanghari opted to voluntarily leave the Big Brother house on day 45 of the competition. Gandanghari plans to undergo sex reassignment surgery. At first action star brother, Robin Padilla, said that he fully accepted her decision, but later Robin has recanted his earlier statements and admitted that he is still shocked and not on good terms with Gandanghari. Their mother, Eva, and all of Gandanghari’s brothers still call her Rustom. Gandanghari holds a degree in B.A. in Economics from St. Louis University in Baguio City and studied at UCLA took up Filmmaking. Gandanghari appeared in her first film role as gay man in Zsazsa Zaturnnah, a film adaptation from a comic book, playing the role as Ada (Adrian), a gay salon owner the alter-ego of Zsazsa Zaturnnah, Gandanghari also appeared in GMA7′s television series La Vendetta and the Happy Hearts, and also appeared on Eva Fonda on ABS-CBN soap opera.

31)  Alexis Arquette

Alexis Arquette born Robert Arquette, in Los Angeles, Califorina, is an American actress, musician, and cabaret performer and is a trans woman. Alexis born to mother, Brenda Olivia “Mardi” Nowak, an actress, poet, theater operator, activist, acting teacher, and therapist, and father, Lewis Arquette, actor and director, and was a former Catholic and converted to Islam, son of comedian Cliff Arquette. Her mother, is from Jewish family that immigrated from Poland to Russia. Alexis’ siblings are actors Rosanna Aquette, Patricia Arquette, Richmond Arquette and David Arquette. Alexis  Arquette first appeared on the big screen in 1986, in an uncredited role as Alexis, the androgynous friend and bandmate of sexually ambivalent teenager Max Whiteman (played by Evan Richards) in Bette Midler comedy film Down and Out in Beverly Hills. Alexis transitioned from male to female, 20 years later, an experience that was documented in the film, Alexis Arquette: She’s My Brother, which debuted at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2007. At nineteen, Alexis Arquette landed her first sizable film role, at age 19, portrayed the role of Georgette, a transvestite (an act of dressing and acting in a style or manner of a male or female) in the screen adaptation of controversial novel Last Exit to Brooklyn. She also starred in films such as Jumpin’ at the Boneyard (as a crack addict), acting opposite Tim Roth, and New Zealand-shot fantasy, gothic horror movie, Jack Be Nimble, as a man seeking revenge for a hellish childhood, and low budget comedy Killer Drag Queens on Dope, as a murderous drag queen. Alexis Arquette also had appeared in supporting roles in Pulp Fiction, Threesome, and horror film Bride of Chucky. Arquette played a Boy George fanatic in the hit film The Wedding Singer by Adam Sandler, performed Do You Really Want to Hurt Me?. In 2001, Arquette returned to New Zealand in 2001, to play Caligula, the Roman emperor in two episodes of cult television show Xena: Warrior Princess. 

32)  Wilson Cruz

Wilson Cruz born Wilson Echevarría, is an American actor best known for his role as Rickie Vasquez on American teen drama series, My So-Called Life and the recurring character as Junito in American cable television dramedy, Noah’s Arc. Wilson Cruz is born in Brooklyn, New York to parents of Puerto Rican descent, and he is an openly gay, and has served as an advocate for gay youth, especially gay youth of color. Cruz came out as gay to his parents when he was age 19, first to his mother and then his father, his mother was hurt and shocked, but later accepted the news. However, his father threw him out of the house, and Cruz lived in his car for few months, and at his friend’s homes. Wilson and his father later reconciled. Wilson  Cruz appeared in many films, including Joyride in 1996, All Over Me in 1997, Supernova in 2000, Party Monster in 2003, in 2005′s Margaret Cho‘s Bam Bam and Celeste, Coffee Date in 2007, and He’s Just Not That Into You in 2009, the television film The Perfect Pitch in 2002, and guest appearances on the series Great Scott!, Sister, Sister, Er, Ally Mcbeal, The West Wing, Noah’s Arc, and Grey’s Anatomy. In 2007, Cruz starred in the film Ode, as Adrian, based on the novel Ode to Lata by Ghalib Shiraz Dhalla. Cruz  also starred in the movie The People I’ve Slept With in 2009, played the role as the openly gay best friend of a promiscuity woman, who tries to find out who got her pregnant so that she can get married.

Guillermo Díaz is an American actor, best known for his characters for films Half Baked in 1998, 200 Cigarettes in 1999, and Stonewall in 1995. Diaz stars as Huck currently in the ABC television drama series, Scandal and has made guest appearances on television shows such as Chappelle’s Show, Law & Order, Weeds and ER. Guillermo Díaz was born in New Jersey, to Cuban parents, and grew up in Washington Heights, Manhattan. Diaz worked in his first speaking role as Spike in Boaz Yakin’s Fresh in 1994, and since then he began appearing on Party Girl as Leo, as roommate of Parker Posey. Followed by his next role as a drag queen (La Miranda) in Nigel Finch’s Stonewall. In 1996, Díaz also worked in Jim McKay’s Girl’s Town playing the role as Dylan, after he appeared in I’m Not Rappaport. He played the role as a drug dealer/trafficker, Guillermo García Gómez in seasons two to six of Showtime’s series Weeds. Diaz also appeared in 2009 on the NBC series Mercy, playing the character of a gay nurse, Angel, which received negative criticism in online forums for being too flamboyant. Guillermo Diaz is openly gay.

Christopher Paul ”Chris“ Colfer is an American actor, singer, author and producer, best known for his role as Kurt Hummel on the television series Glee. Colfer is the writer, producer, and novelized his first film and starred in, Struck by Lightning, which debuted at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2012. Colfer is also the number one best selling author of The Land of Stories: The Wishing Spell of New York Times, the first novel in his middle-grade reader series. Chris Colfer was born in Clovis, California, has an Irish ancestry born to Karyn Boling-Colfer and Timothy Colfer. Colfer showed a passion for writing in his early age, and was born wanting to be a storyteller, using both his talents in writing and acting as a way to escape reality and entertain people. Colfer also appeared as Kurt von Trapp, in The Sound of Music production, which later served as inspiration for the name Kurt Hummel, as  his Glee character. In 2009, Colfer first role on television came when he was cast as Kurt Hummel on Fox’s television series Glee. Kurt Hummel, is a fashionable gay countertenor who is frequently bullied at school, not only because he is gay, but also for being part of a Glee Club which is unpopular. Chris Colfer auditioned for the part of Artie Abrams, who uses a wheelchair, but the role was given to Kevin McHale. Colfer is residing currently in Los Angeles with his pets, cat Brian and his golden retriever Cooper. On July 13, 2014, an episode of Watch What Happens: Live was first aired, which Colfer have confirmed that he currently has a boyfriend.

35) Matt“ Bomer

Matthew Staton ”Matt“ Bomer  is an American actor, known for his role in 2001 in Guiding Light, and gained recognition with his recurring role as Bryce Larkin, in the NBC television series Chuck. HeBomer is also known for portraying the lead role of a con-artist in the White Collar series under USA Network, from 2009 to 2014. Matt Bomer appeared as supporting actor in the HBO TV film in 2014′s The Normal Heart, as the character of Felix Turner, which he won a Golden Globe Award receiving a Primetime Emmy Award  nomination for his supporting role. Matt Bomer was born to former Dallas Cowboysdraft pick, John Bomer and mother, Sissi Sataton-Bomer, born in Webster Groves, Greater St. Louis, Missouri, but grew up in Spring, Texas with other two siblings. In 2011, Matt Bomer married publicist Simon Halls, and together they have three sons, including a set of twins via surrogacy. In 2012, Bomer publicly  came out as gay, when he thanked Simon Halls and their children during an acceptance speech for his Steve Chase Humanitarian Award.
